Im about to get a pack of 009S to hopefully replace 006.... half the 006 I got were DOA, which kind of set me back a lot of time trying to figure out why the rig was producing errors.

What are the pro's and con's of led lights on the 009S? Its nice to be able to see if the riser boards are working via led but is there anything bad about this feature?

led= one more point of failure? yes/no/maybe..?

Hello what error did you have with 006? I have some problem with 006 too
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.4 (Windows/Linux) on: January 16, 2018, 03:07:04 PM
Hello i have this problem with 1 of the cards in my rig.
Its a 7 card rig.
GPU hangs in OpenCL call, exit error

I have try alot of things. Right now i run
-epsw x  -mode 1 -cclock 1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2250,2250,2200,2200,2250,2200,2250, -cvddc 880,850,850,850,850,850,850 -mvddc 920,900,900,900,900,900,900 -gser 8 -dcri 5 -wd 0 -ftime 10 -lidag 3,0,0,0,0,0,0 -tstop 85 -tt 60 -fanmin 10 -fanmax 100

It is GPU0 there get this error. Any ideas? It can happen after minutes or hours

you should try lowering mem clock for the GPU that fails.
Also why do you think that setting core volts lower then vrm would work?

I have also try
-epsw x  -mode 1 -cclock 1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2000,2250,2000,2000,2000,2200,2250, -cvddc 960,900,900,900,900,900,900 -mvddc 960,900,900,900,900,900,900 -gser 8 -dcri 5 -wd 1 -ftime 10 -lidag 3,0,0,0,0,0,0 -tstop 85 -tt 60 -fanmin 10 -fanmax 100

But its the same.
I think i will try to buy some other raisers. 009 from
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2745606.0

At the moment i have https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B073F1QHZ5/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVCPMRF6NI2O
But i think they are shit

Do any body else have this problem? I cant transfer ETH from my mist to other wallets. It just 0 confirm and on etherscan.io it just say

Sorry, we are unable to locate this Transaction Hash

You are not alone. It is what most people are facing but this will be fixed sooner. I also transferred some tokens and waiting for them to be shown in my wallet for an hour. I realized this issue but after seeing your post. Now I will say we can't do anything but waiting for network to get normalized.
Okay great! I am also waiting for some ETH to transfer over to my mist wallet from another wallet 24 hour+ now

I hope you know that latest drivers won't work with HD 4xxx series.

Yeah, I've already seen that. I've removed the old card before writing the first post, and later I've removed Catalyst with DDU and did a 'clean' install of the new Radeon drivers.

Quote
- I see only one card instead of two in temperature management info.
Disable CrossFire, don't use Remote Desktop Connection.

I haven't been using either. There's only one card installed as of now, and the miner gives no temperature info at all.
Thats odd, I am out of ideas, may be someone else can help here. Its all about proper driver. Tried Claymore10.0 ?
I found a solution..

There is no monitor on my system but when i add a monitor to GPU0 and start the miner it now sync the settings to all cards.

Is this a bug?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.2 (Windows/Linux) on: December 24, 2017, 11:41:14 AM
Hello guys

When i try to use the OC in the miner the OC settings only apply too GPU0 not GPU1 and so on.

Are this a bug in the program or do i something wrong?

My cards: RX 580
Driver: Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23
atikmdag-patcher-1.4.6
Bios flashed: Yes

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal MYWALLET.rig1 -epsw x -mode 1 -tt 65 -fanmin 75 -fanmax 100 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2250 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 -dcri 8/12

When i OC with afterburner it work fine on all cards. But i want to use the miner to do it

You will need to specify the parameters for each GPU..e.g. -cclock 1200 ,1200,1200 if you have 3 gpu
It does the same with this Sad

 -epsw x -mode 1 -tt 65,65 -fanmin 75,75 -fanmax 100,100 -cclock 1200,1200 -mclock 2250,2250 -cvddc 850,850 -mvddc 850,850 -dcri 8/12
I just try on another server but it dont work there :/
I have also try to put it into the config file
-epsw x
-mode 1
-tt 65,65
-fanmin 75,75
-fanmax 100,100
-cclock 1200,1200
-mclock 2250,2250
-cvddc 850,850
-mvddc 850,850
#-asm 0

But still only GPU0 there get the settings

Try to put just one value for each parameter or specify just in some of them, example:

-epsw x -mode 1 -tt 65 -fanmin 75 -fanmax 100 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2250 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 -dcri 12

Another thing that you may test is open and close the miner 3 times... after setting the dag file, close the miner and start agiam.

This process works for me.

Thanks for the replay but still no Sad

Card1: https://gyazo.com/3e48fbdb7db744450b793ea77dca0230

Did you mod the bios? What version of claymore are you using?

Try a different config for gpu1, just to test, like:

 -cclock 1200, 1250 -mclock 2250, 2250 -cvddc 850,1000 -mvddc 850,1000

This is the same card that I have... and I’m using crimson beta Aug 23 and Claymore v10.2

It gives the same :/

I use 10.2 and the 23aug driver too.
And i have flashed the bios with this http://1stminingrig.com/best-bios-rom-for-sapphire-rx-580-8gb-special-edition-hynix-memory-31-mhs/

When the miner dosent run it seems that GPU1 are turned off. The LED light are off and the fans are off. Is this normal? And when the miner starts the card starts again

I think this is a normal behavior, only the led that in my case still on independent of the miner.

The link that you share support Hynix and Samsung memories, I didn’t see for Micron, that is your card.

There is a link to the Micron firmware in the comments section https://mega.nz/#F!oi4QERJb!CyJ8-6mNNe0NQApBL2vE0g
