1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 10, 2018, 10:23:38 AM
The comments here are so dumb, Jesus its the same as it has always been on this forum. None of you are investors none of you know what is what, the general public doesnt give a shit about bitcoin and there are many people who have a very negative view of it and many people who are bitter that they lost money on it.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: September 10, 2018, 10:10:40 AM
The most valuable asset in all of crypto is an erc-20 token. I am not gonna tell you which one for now until I get my holdings secure then I will be releasing an economic write-up explaining all the reasons why it is so valuable. I am gonna share it here with the fine people of bitcoin talk,

If you think I am a clown who is joking around, I am sublime5447 my account was hacked in 2015 go look at my trust score.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 10, 2018, 09:59:34 AM
God no, you would have to be really low IQ to think that bitcoin is safer than traditional banking
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 10, 2018, 04:36:11 AM
None of the merchants I currently deal in Bitcoin with have told me they don't accept anymore.  I use 4 monthly services and they all take Bitcoin or Ethereum.  Everything is fine on our end.  Not everyone is freaking out about the price.  Some people are actually using Bitcoin vs trading it for Alts.

Bullshit, no one is using shitcoin.
5  Other / Meta / Need to talk to theymos about minds.com can offer minds tokens for help. on: September 10, 2018, 02:50:21 AM
i am working with minds.com and need to get a trust system implemented. I like the one here and was wondering if theymos or someone else would be willing to help. I know theymos made the one here and would like to get an outline of the system. I can offer minds tokens in exchange for help.

Grin Grin Grin Grin   Been a long time for me too (sublime5447), came back to find my account hacked. Good to see someone with a familiar name on here, it really looks like the forum has gone to shit. I dont think there are any real trades going on.

Oh man! After many years! How are you? I got out of crypto during end of 2013 - lots happened inbetween, and trying to dabble again. Hope you get back your account. Nice memories! Let's be in touch.

Me too, only reason I am back is because in 2013 ripple labs gave me 40k ripples. I traded all but 8.5k of them back in 2013 for bitcoin. Some kid came by a few weeks back and was talking about ripple and I was like oh shit, so I restored my wallet and cashed a bunch out. I dont think I am gonna get my account back though, because the bitcoin address that was linked to my account had the same password. There was no coins in it but now someone else controls my old wallet. I can prove it is my account through other means but thymos wont respond to me.

Send a message to theymos with a signed message using your hacked account's wallet, to prove that the account is indeed yours.

Well fuck, I just went to the wallet associated with my account after an hour trying to figure out which of my many wallets was the one tied to the account and I believe that the wallet has been hacked as well, I am pretty confident that the wallet I used had the same password as my account here, I had 2fa on the wallet but after I cashed all the funds out I took it off, figured there was no reason to hack an account with 0 funds in it, guess i was wrong.

You are receiving this message because your email address is associated
with an account on bitcointalk.org. I regret to have to inform you that
some information about your account was obtained by an attacker who
successfully compromised the bitcointalk.org server. The following
information about your account was likely leaked:
 - Email address
 - Password hash
 - Last-used IP address and registration IP address
 - Secret question and a basic (not brute-force-resistant) hash of your
 secret answer
 - Various settings

You should immediately change your forum password and delete or change
your secret question. To do this, log into the forum, click "profile",
and then go to "account related settings".

If you used the same password on bitcointalk.org as on other sites, then
you should also immediately change your password on those other sites.
Also, if you had a secret question set, then you should assume that the
attacker now knows the answer to your secret question.

Your password was salted and hashed using sha256crypt with 7500 rounds.
This will slow down anyone trying to recover your password, but it will
not completely prevent it unless your password was extremely strong.

While nothing can ever be ruled out in these sorts of situations, I do
not believe that the attacker was able to collect any forum personal
messages.

I apologize for the inconvenience and for any trouble that this may cause.
