9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO OPEN] 🎓 Educational blockchain Disciplina by TeachMePlease on: December 29, 2017, 09:12:38 AM
So, how was the pre-sale? Satisfied with the results ?

We just started but already made $1,1kk but few big investors.

Wow, congrats! Hope you go on as good as it started for you!
Btw is there any additional profit except for bigger bonus for early investors? Or maybe some special options planned for the future?

After registration in account.teachmeplease.io you will be prompted to fill in the form. In this form you can state the reason why you want to get extra bonus. General conditions about bonus system are here: https://teachmeplease.io/static/img/general/percents.svg

So, it's about me convincing you, right? Do I need to give you a reason to award me some extra?
There is a point in this, although I've never seen such offers before.

It's normal. You're an investor, of course, but special preferences are usually reserved either for big "whales" or for those who can somehow improve the brand (aka big brands themselves with huge promotional potential as partners). Am i right here, mr. moderator, sir?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: December 29, 2017, 09:02:44 AM
ICO can be a great way for investment, but you do need to put some effort into it, else - it's senseless.
I, for once, decided to put some good effort into understanding how TeachMeplease, Ethernal and some other ICOs would work - because I care about my investments' success and it's effect on our society and future. Money must not only make me richer but make our future life easier. If I see that my support can help with that - I invest gladly.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electric cigarette yes/no/maybe? on: December 29, 2017, 08:11:51 AM
I've tried it a bit, and I'd say both electric and common cigarettes are nothing compared to a good pipe with cherry-flavored tobacco.
Just when you smoke a pipe (i do it on very rare occasions, 3-4 times a year maybe), it feels more like a tradition than some habit. And that is what's really priceless.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will fiat money lasts? Can anyone predict it? on: December 29, 2017, 07:47:47 AM
Anything of value has its value bigger then it's direct usefulness (aka painted paper is called "money" and can buy something) as long as people believe in such a thing. So - we can't predict when their trust will shift worldwide. There are still places where stones and bones are used, you know? Jk.
So, i think that for now we're stuck with FIAT money for some time.

13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: December 29, 2017, 07:40:42 AM
There are different types of success. I, for once, would say that you need to be content with several things:
1) Place you live in
2) Your level of wealth
3) Things you do for your living
4) People that are in your life

Each "check" in this list makes you closer to what you can call "a successful life". Just my opinion.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: December 28, 2017, 11:09:57 AM
I'd suggest you try to invest in something based on real business. There are many ICOs offering good possibilities (i personally decided on TeachMePlease, as it has good aims, but there can be more) and a normal venture in the near future. Holding cryptos is ok, but there's no sense to do it as long as you can get something better out of it!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: December 28, 2017, 09:04:48 AM
Bit coin first introduced crypto currency. So many of these benefits have begun to use it.This will increase the value for most people to use.And it's only 21 million And it can not be created. That may increase its value. In total crypto currences Bit coin users are just too much.So in the crypto currency Bit coin transactions are just too much .This too is expensive.

Its not expensive. If you think it is expensive now, do not look at prices one year later. When it was $ 300, we said it was expensive. When it was 500 dollars, we said it was expensive too.
It's $ 15,000, we're still say its expensive Wink

Because it is. It's of no matter if it's worth 500, 1500 or 15000 USD when you can't afford to spare 300. That's what "expensive" is - it's something that matter as an expense for you, not some abstract "high price".
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 27, 2017, 10:56:49 AM
1 - it will never decrease for THAT MUCH as it's claimed by BTC haters.
2 - have a bit of ETH or LTC as a backup
3 - as a "backbackup" (see what i did there!)) - have some investments in smaller but safer coins and tokens.
Me and my friends are planning to invest in TeachMePlease, for example (check their topic - it's a good one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2325715). Education is a good thing, you know)
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 27, 2017, 10:49:31 AM
I don't have a lot of knowledge or experience, but i do believe in ETH. It's more accessible then BTC (as it seems), and transaction fees are WAAY lower.
So yes, my voice is for ETH.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: December 27, 2017, 10:23:55 AM
The best way to invest is yourself - your skills, your knowledge, your abilities.
Though if you do invest in ICO and succeed - means you've already done some self-investment, as it requires understanding, and not mere luck to get real profits with ICOs.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: December 27, 2017, 10:16:50 AM
Me and some of my friends are really looking into TeachMePlease as an ICO with quite a great potential.
Have a look here (forum thread and announcement): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2325715
And their site's here: https://teachmeplease.io/index.html
Thing is, we had a bad experience with a private teacher that had to give my friends' child some maths lessons. We had some good words on that person, but suddenly he just disappeared after 2 lessons, while we had agreed on 4 months! Of course, we had no idea then how to choose a good teacher, and some friends' recommendation felt more than enough...
But we want to have something better then gossip now. I'm more than sure there's a lot of professional pedagogues who want to offer their services and a high quality of those.
And I'm more than sure that a lot of people need a platform which makes a direct dialogue for such professionals and their potential clients possible, with no "third wheels".

You know what I mean. Lots of people from both sides = skyrocketing project. I do believe it will be on top quite soon!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: December 27, 2017, 09:15:29 AM
Just a humble opinion, guys.
In ancient Europe every landlord had it's own mint and made it's own money. There was a lot of confusion regarding "which money is which, which money do people accept in this or that land etc."
Now, us having exchanges and dynamic information streams we could think that problem is solved, but...
The reason why no one ever doubted those feudal coins value was because all that money was made of precious metals. But current cryptos are generally all 0's and 1's - information, something that has power as long as it has some kind of trust behind it. And it's a piece of cake to loose trust nowadays.
I'm more than sure this will cause issues, and sooner than you - or even me - might expect.
