Hello community 
yet another 15% of Stone has been distributed, due to having completed the distribution audit yesterday, distribution should speed up vastly from here on out! Apologies all for the delay.
Whilst i'm here, can i ask everyone's thoughts on a coin burn to reduce supply? halving the amount distributed to BTC holders & XRB Holders, this would account for a nearly 40% supply burn, i'd like to see your thoughts on how a reduced coin supply would positively impact the Stone's path in the future. Myself i am neutral on the idea, please do not be afraid to leave your detailed speculation.
Thank you all for supporting Stone and being patient whilst distribution takes place, once this is out of the way it will be full attention on code again.
felixando I'm in for a coin burn essentially to Btc holders, as they have no direct link with this project. BUT (AND ONLY BUT), the coin burn should happen only after a proof of code (if a burn happen before prove of existence of code, basically it increase the value of a scam coin. So, to resume : OK for a burn, but Only after period of code. |

Why do we start this project?
The blockchain represented by Bitcoin and Etherium showed a problem of increase in commission due to transaction saturation as well as delays in transactions due to the small amount of transactions that can be processed due to public interest.
It is not wrong to say that Bitcoin and Etherium have played an important role in the blockchain, but I think it is difficult for them to play such a role in the future.
In addition to these practical problems, they are overly concentrated in the vested interests despite being a blockchain, and are being dominated by minorities.
In the blockchain which aims at decentralization, the decentralization does not proceed at all.
I met DAG while thinking about the future technology to solve the problem of the blockchain that had these problems.
We are confident that DAG will be the most promising technology that will be used practically in the future.
That's why we started this project.
What is Gravity?
The name gravity comes from the goal that everyone will come into our system, like gravity which is one of the systems we all belong to.
We have the passion and ability to complete this project, and I think this project will be powerful enough to penetrate the routine of everyone.
The technology we are going to create is to add anonymity while implementing smart contracts on DAG.
DAG, just like Blockchain technology aims at anonymity and decentralization. This is the two main things we think as blockchain’s directing point.
Actually, The DAG and the blockchain are different, but the two technologies has same direction to go
However, on blockchains where all transactions are disclosed, tracking is possible.
To solve this problem blockchain which could keep privacy like Dash, Monero, or Zcash came out.
We think that anonymity must be implemented in DAG.
Decentralization can also be said to be the same as eliminating intermediate agents, which can be effectively implemented through smart contracts.
In light of this, we started this project with the goal of implementing smart contracts and anonymity in DAG.
We will use the ZK-SNARKs protocol to reflect the anonymity to our DAG and develop smart contracts technology on DAG by ourselves which can implement in our DAG platform.
Who are the developers & why we don't have ICO?
We are made up of two computer developers and CEO of our project.
We met at a one of famous world company and started Gravity project by the CEO of our project.
You may be surprised to have a man who is not a developer, but he has a good understanding of the blockchain and has started this project.
Since we think that the project has a lot to make, the amount we get from the donation will be used to recruit developers and expand the team.
We do not have ICO because of one of the problems of the blockchain mentioned above. We want to realize decentralization, the core value of the blockchain. For a successful ICO, we need to cover unnecessary work for advisory, marketing. Th money used to this work is so big that we saw a lot of cases where the amount of tokens assigned to the dev team was over 30%. Because this is not absolute decentralization, we decided to proceed with the project in the form of a donation rather than an ICO, in order to create a DAG that is not central to the Foundation and is not concentrated in a few people. However, I have decided DEV to have a certain percentage of tokens for the scalability of the project. The token distribution will be further explained in the following questions.
The distribution of token and roadmap
30% of the tokens are assigned to donator, 10% to dev, and the rest to facuet. The target amount raised is $ 1,500,000. It's a lot of money, but I think it's a necessary step to expand the project. Even if this amount is not paid, March 20 is the deadline for donation. The 30% of supply of tokens will be distributed to donator at ratios even if the donation amount is not enough. We are considering distributing it first through the Erc20 token, and the donators list will be updated continuously
When the fundraising ends on March 20, we will open a website, announce a white paper, marketing for expansion of the community, and expand the dev in April. In addition, we will design a test net with the privacy characteristics that existed as soon as possible before the smart contract was implemented. Until the end of the fund-raising, there are other similar projects going on, so there is no plan to release code. Anyone who has a suspicion of scam can continue. However, when time pass, you will regret.

First I want to say a very big THANK YOU to felixando. You have proved my faith in the goodness inherent in most people. This is NO scam people. A scammer would NOT remove the addresses, a scammer would not post after the deadline. This is a winner coin about to happen and right now we are on a path to be a top 20 coin or even top 5. I am so pleased to be a part of it and so thankful to felixando for making it happen.

I suggest asking Colin and the other Nano devs to please provide a list of addresses of people that lost their coins and how many coins were lost. Not sure if this is possible. If it is however, maybe we can reduce the free Stone coins for btc holders from 32.5% to 30% and distribute the 2.5% among the people who lost so much. It would help them out and give them a sense of the community and would also be great advertising for Stone. It could be paid out in erc20 tokens for now so they know they have not lost everything. If you're starting to give the erc20 token to donators, when will you do the snapshot for BTC and nano holders?
And also a remark:
I think for the BTC + nano snapshot, you should give the Stone token only to those who claims it, and not to all btc + nano holders, as most of them don't know of stone and are not involved in the community.

An update will be coming shortly with final figures on the donations and a little update on development, i can say that a release is not quite ready, i and i do not wish to rush development, and push an incomplete release, although i may issue an ERC20 token to be used as a placeholder token, which will be swapped out for Stone when a stable release is ready, by doing this, distribution will be sped up, allowing the twitter distribution to be released earler + compatibility with the XRB+BTC snapshot, as the underlying code has already been completed with similar snapshot projects, i wont get into the the technical's of this now, update to come.
As a side note, for those who donated near the deadline, you are yet to be added to the donation list, which should be completed within 24hours.

About a week ago I sent you a PM telling you I would like to donate more money (as the value of what I sent changed dramatically because of the market crashed). I'll probably just send you Ethereum this time (I sent XRB initially). Would it be OK to send you 2 separate donations using 2 separate currencies from the same username on the forums or would it be easier for your record keeping if I just created a second bitcointalk account and sent you the Ether from there?
He already cashed out before dip, atleast from BTC wallet what I have seen, so may be he will be using $ value when you have donated and not the price at the time of distribution of coins, because as of now we dont know when distribution will happen so calculating value in future would be difficult considering various kind of crypto donations and each can go up or down in a huge way, so to be fair with everyone, i think he is considering $ value of what you have donated at the time of donation. May be he can confirm that, but i am sure something on similar lines.

@felixando, I was just wondering since you are the main developer of Stone and you seem to want to protect your intellectual property (which you have every right to do) have you considered patenting your code say if it ends up being far different from the XRB/Zsnarks platform? I'm only asking because I have seen the creators of Hashgraph begin to license their product even though it goes against the whole open-source code transparency model introduced by bitcoin. Swirlds obviously wants to capitalize on companies who might want to use their code, would you do the same?
This is an interesting idea! That move will surely degrade the reputation of this project if it is followed. We can't deny that most of the codes will be based from Raiblocks/Zsnarks codebase and patenting a code which is based from those won't help the project in anyway and i'm sure Felix is definitely against that idea. I don´t think many will use or even give it a chance with a closed source. No matter in the beginning, but after a decent time the codebase should be public, if not from the beginning. It helps to have some projects and apps build on it too I think it should be public also. |

devs can we please get a countdown on the final day for donation fund, looking to put some more in but dont really want to miss it, also another tally for the total btc raised, as im thinking its gone up a little since the last reading, by my rough calcs we have around 1.5-2mill mcap now? its important to know for investors.
The only countdown that we need is when the code will be available in github, after that then I reckon the donation need a countdown IMHO>.

Our work on the privacy protocol is now accomplished, it passed all our testing plan. The two last weeks have been very busy for us but the results worth it. It allows very fast transaction, almost as fast as a DAG without privacy and much faster than a simple ZK-SNARKs. We will now merge it with this representation:  And let you know each steps of the project, we are very enthusiast with these results. Here’s what’s next:
- Finishing a proper whitepaper and public release of the Github the 16th of March
- End of donation the 16th of March
- Wallet development
- Testnet open the first week of april
- Official launch in the beginning of May
In the coming month we will hire people for the team especially to help our new team member with the community management, the marketing of Azulik and exchange listing, feel free to PM. All right! Good morning to you all, today will be a small update and recap on recent events/posts, hopefully one of many if i acquire the time to do so. Id like to take this time to earnestly thank my supporters and the people who have been sending supportive and appreciative private messages, also to the donators, development could not continue without you, Thank you.
Distribution
As expressed by a few supporters we have come to the result that we would like to see a substantial plan ahead, which will persist as follows;
30% donators (ending shortly - exact date yet to be announced)
32.5% Airdrop to BTC holders
22.5% Airdrop to existing XRB holders.

From my findings with the balanced-weighted vote the implementation will not transact in-line in the manner i originally set out to achieve, therefor i have played with the idea of off-chain addresses, t-addresses (Stone) for standard transactions & (zStone) z-addresses, with an exact exchange between paired wallets for an untraceable transaction .My idea further extends to to have Stodes (Nodes), which act as a direct atomic swap 1:1 with Stone & zStone, anyone would be able to see the the swap 1:1 between the two, but no one would be able to see where you have recieved the zStone as it was transacted off-chain.
zStone would not be a seperate currency and not tradable on an exchange, its simply the channel to achieve completely private transactions, with a swap 1:1 with Stone, they would not be worth anymore or any less.

(zStone) Swap 1:1 -> Receive/Send -> (Stone) Received
Alice receives a private transaction from Bob via zStone, Alice now has 100 zStone, Alice now wants standard Stone, she swaps the 100 zStone for Stone 1:1 via a Stone node. The end result is Alice successfully has completed a private transaction with Bob, and swapped back into the base currency, all within the wallet, this method allows the DAG protocol to still function with its representative method.
Tests
I've been testing the functionality with zkSNARK transactions in a closed server, with positive results, sub ten-second transactions, with privacy.
The following members will take part in testnet, at this stage i do not need any more participants.
