Dev team, do you plan add bootstripe for wallet? It synchronizing ridiculously long; like 1-2 days.
I think you mean bootstrap a remote node will be added shortly once mainnet is securely running Is the network not securely running?

this will never happen, money are way too important in terms of politics, economy and lifestyle.. crypto might become a side currencies but there is no way crypto will replace money in the next century
But crypto is a form of money, isn't it? Are you aware the fact that most circulated supply of money is not cash (3-5%)? Governments would actually prefer all money exchanges to have a digital footprint, so imo it's not that far away from us.

The Monero community are not thrilled about this, but for an average XMR holder It's a great move. Heck, It should push the improvement of Monero as well. Any bounties?

I'm super excited for the MoneroV one. Got into analyzing them after a thread here. They do not have an ANN yet but it's a first Monero airdrop that will also be finite.
They are legit and have already put out a block explorer to show the 1:10 ratio. I think it's on the 14th though. Let's earn!!

I wonder which exchanges are supporting this hard fork?
You won't know, and nobody will know until it gets announced officially. I know from the Bitcoin Private project, that teams are not allowed to even discuss with which exchanges they're in talk with. There are non disclosure agreements when it comes to exchanges listings and fork support. I asked on their telegram and it seems like they are quite "hush hush" about it, stating that they assume big exchanges will adopt them eventually (I guess because we people will demand our free money, right?). These exchanges will have to take a hard look into their wallet & code, which means that it will not possible for them to list MoneroV prior or really close to the fork (this is my assumption). About non-discolusers etc, It appears that they are trying to do this as private and most decentralized way, Satoshi style So I'm confused to about how it will go for them in convincing these exchanges. All in all seems like a great project and a very big event to wait for! Exciting for all Monero hodlers and lovers

Thanks for the link. I am now on the telegram group waiting for the airdrop. But how does a forked coin give out 1:10? Isn't fork supposed to be an equal split that must have the same total supply? Again, how do forked coins get the extra coins they distribute as airdrops since those holding the old coin are going to get the same quantity in the new coin? Where do the airdrops come from? I'm no expert but from what they say they are going to move a decimal point to affect all of the blockchain. It seems like this is tricky and they will need to address a 'bignum' change (versus intereger) soonafter.

Not with a whole heart. Anything that could be 'measured' in a sense is prone to promotions and manipulation. Just let that sink in for a sec.

I went over their PDF and was surprisingly relieved tbh -
"MoneroV will adhere to core Austrian school of economics principles by capping the total MoneroV coins that can be created, parting with Monero’s infinite coin supply structure." - This I very much like, same as bitcoin being finite.
"MoneroV will issue bounty programs for top-tier developers and researchers to rapidly develop all aspects of the MoneroV network." For anybody into Monero, this is quite an important part.
".. plans to tackle the scaling issues, which is the main source of problems in Monero, and in all cryptocurrency coins for that matter, and integrate the MimbleWimble protocol so that the blockchain size will be bound to the number of users using MoneroV (not the number of transactions being made in the network)." Now this is really ambitious (might be too - ambitious?) and should take a couple of years if they are serious.
"For example.. the centralization of decision making that prevents the implementation of new features, the scaling issue of a bloated blockchain, the high transaction fees, and the growing hash rate that is mainly based on mass usage of botnets and unsuspected browser based miners that prevents genuine miners to compete." Hit the nail on these, but again, how will it be actually solved?
In any case, I'd recommend waiting and seeing their code before all else. But it's safe to say that this looks somewhat legitimate and might even be coming from within the Monero community. This are all issues people there are worried about, but will come down to if they would really release code, open source wallets we could all check etc.

What is the point of Moverov, more than developers to make some quick money?
I don't see weak spots in Monero architecture and solutions from the new coin.
Dude, I'm big on Monero, but can you really say there are any weak spots to it? Heck, even FluffyPony agrees

Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.
and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.
Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.
would you try this technique.
I don't think it is a good idea. Bitcoin is risky investment and you can't tell what will happen in the future. I believe in Bitcoin for the future and I think also he will rise up but my advice, do not invest what you can't afford to lose.

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?
No and I don't think you be abele in the next few years. The main purpose of the Bitcoin is to have money with out having someone control it, and if the bank will manage it for you take out the all purpose of Bitcoin.

I don't know about the next year but I believe in the next few years he will rise up. But in this market as you can see you can never tell. I believe in the future Bitcoin will stay part of our life and only rise up.

As I understand it, many of my people who know bitcoin and investing in bitcoin have no real insight into the value of bitcoin and the scenarios in which it can be applied. Bitcoins look like they are stock-like ways of investing However, bitcoin and what can help us to live, the scene can actually be used? Most of the people today inventing in Bitcoin and not using it, that because people want to make money and they think Bitcoin is the way. people don't see the real purpose of Bitcoin, to have and use money with out having some control on it.

As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018
In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.
Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future. [/quote of course its a risk. Don't forget it is an investment and like every other investment you have the risks. Make sure you understand what you are doing and most important do not put money that you can't afford losing.

Don't think so. I believe its just a little crush and he will rise again. In history of Bitcoin he always have crushes and he always get through it, and now he will get through it again.

Why would they need to create such a sophisticated system, if all real money creation (at least in the US) is controlled and governed by them? Also, they might not like the idea of privacy coin, ringCT, and future projects that will enable truly private transactions. So why would they create it?

It could all go to zero, but it won't, the community and perceived value is too damn high.
