I think I already claimed the IOTAs before, by going on a very simple website, inputting the custom password and getting back an IOTA address, but when I access it from a light client my balance shows as 0 in the address that was given me.

I tried to generate addresses with my seed but balance is still 0, I also tried with the procedure in the wallet when it was available but nothing.
I asked a couple times on slack but got no answer, today I tried again and they suggested me to email David, and so I did.
I emailed David today, waiting for an answer.

Sì parlavo di NEM, che è diciamo una copia di NXT però riscritta da zero, il cui slogan è la distribuzione più "equa", anche se non sono mancate controversie su questo punto.

Il prezzo dei NXT sta ora scendendo perchè c'è un investitore iniziale che ne sta vendendo, il che non è male in quanto non è una pratica che potrà durare ancora a lungo. Appena fu rilasciato l'asset exchange NXT è salito di un botto e ci è restato per molto tempo, è una moneta tra quelle col più grande volume su BTER, il suo exchange principale, e sono su testnet altre 2 funzionalità: la compraventdita di alias e un negozio decentralizzato di beni digitali.

C'è anche da segnalare NFD, che è una fork vera e propria di NXT lanciata da poco che mira a risolvere il problema della distribuzione iniziale. Iniziata con una ipo poi rivelatasi uno scam, è stata ripresa e mandata avanti da un developer che ha mantenuto le donazioni fatte durante la ipo scam, iniziativa molto ammirevole.

Col leased forging, ovvero il "prestito" di potere di forgiatura, non trasferisci nxt ma appunto solo il tuo potere di forgiarne, quindi il bilancio del tuo account non cambia e tutti i nxt li hai ancora disponibili per trasferire o comprare asset. L'asset exchange mi sembra una funzionalità quasi inedita ancora, c'è forse anche counterparty che l'ha, ma comunque è super innovativa, è stata usata anche da un concorrente di nxt per permettere ai possessori delle stake di comprarli/venderli.

I mean, eventually there would be one account with close to 1000000000 nxt, and many accounts with 1 nxt, none of them able to do anything.

Just something that came to mind regarding the pooled forging issue.
Suppose someone leases forging power to a pool, and then forgets about it... Wouldn't he eventually own all nxt in existence? And the more it leases the lesser it would take. I'm still thinking many years but still....
I think transaction fees are ok as an anti-spam patch, but down along the road it could mean disaster...
Even when bitcoin mining won't generate any new bitcoins, someone mining and not spending bitcoins will eventually own all of them, but mining in bitcoin means power and hardware costs, while in nxt there are none or are incorporated in the forgin pool cut...

Io personalmente ho usato un vecchio hd che avevo e messo al posto dell'hd del mio pc. Staccato la rete, installato windows e poi il client armory, in quanto provvede già a creati un foglio stampabile da cui puoi risalire al tuo wallet, ed in più la creazione di indirizzi avviene in modo deterministico, cioè i nuovi indirizzi che creerai su quel wallet saranno sempre gli stessi.
Il problema di cui sono venuto a conoscenza pure io di recente è il fatto dell'indirizzo di change. Infatti se magari dal tuo wallet vorrai togliere dei fondi, ti potrebbe venire la tentazione di importare la chiave privata in un wallet temporaneo giusto per fare la transazione e poi cancellare il wallet temporaneo.
 Se non usi tutti i fondi abbinati all'indirizzo, il client ufficiale manda il resto su un altro indirizzo creato appositamente, che viene perso se tu cancelli il wallet temporaneo convinto che la tua operazione sia andata a buon fine...
