King of shitcoins!
If litecoin is shitcoins, why is it that litecoin remains alive and growing? Why you say litecoin is shitcoins, what is your reason? I am confused and surprised, because only a fool who says litecoin is shitcoins. Coinbase advantage. Wonder how it got there? Coins coming out more recently have more progression than litecoin has towards adoption and partnership and how long has ltc been around? It only ever pumps on upgrades.

Ripple right now seems a gverment idea. It's not opensource and it's not annonimous...
My god. The thought that you're investing with real money is scary!

Sumo seems pretty interesting. The thing i don't like with it is the public arguments with monero on twitter. Calling them too big and arrogant etc. Looks so unprofessional

The deep onion team does not sleep. Tor OBSF4, Android wallet and today stealth addresses announced for release soon. All of this was in the last two weeks.

Thanks guys. Some useful points here. Looks like it's worthwhile to learn the basics.

there are some topics about it. for me its a marketing coin ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) no high tech behind. Its not even untrackable coin ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) be careful of their awesome marketing ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Look at their road map. You can see its almost about marketing ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) You can read this topic for more info. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057229.0 Are you regurgitating what you've read somewhere or have you actually researched this coin? Tor Obsf4, dual stealth addresses, smart contracts, deep vault and community controlled are just some of the things that make this miles ahead of other privacy coins.

I've been thinking about starting to learn how to read charts and do some technical analysis for myself. The problem is I see it ridiculed on pretty much every forum and people saying it's useless for crypto.
What are your thoughts? Worthwhile?

Litecoin will experience hard fork, maybe you can consider it and you will get airdrop if you hold Litecoin. Fork Block - At block 1371111, Litecoin Cash will hard-fork away from the Litecoin blockchain. This is currently expected to occur on Mon 19 February 2018. 10:1 Claim Ratio - For every 1 LTC you hold at the fork block, you'll receive 10 LCC. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876538.0;allLitecoin cash is a scam. Charlie Lee said so himself

Deep onion is my privacy coin for this year and my other coin I think will be promising is oyster pearl. it's better than sia in regards to storage and has many more features.
|
|
|
I mix it up. I have investments in the top 10 for long time and then I like to invest in low cap promising projects like deep onion, oyster and a few others.

Litecoin pumps on upgrades other coins with partnerships

I think you'll do better once the market turns around. You would of been down in profits even with non shitcoins

Very much excited about oyster pearls future and the returns it's already given me. Looking forward to the airdrop aswell and may increase my position.

Ripple should have a great year. It's still in the top 5 without the coinbase advantage. Hell it took second place recently on just a coinbase rumour.

Ok, so why did XRP suddenly hit $3 (and above) in 2017 and went down? I would go with the theory saying that it reached high because banks and businesses shared their positive feedback about XRP. However, the actual adoption and the further domino effect might take 5 to 10 years, but it will (since XRP has already proved to be a reliable tool for cheaper and faster global transactions that can be effectively used by big enterprises). The question is when and how fast they will adopt the new xCurrent framework that takes the process to the next step. Once they do, the domino effect cannot be avoided and the price will hit even above $10. The question is when and how fast. That's why I am pushing for XRP being a long-term investment option now.
probably it wont, if it hit $10 the market cap would be ~$390,000,000,000 that nearly 3 times market cap of bitcoin right now you assume Bitcoin won't grow or go back to its ath

XSPEC supporter here and just registered ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) XSPEC is the only TOR integrated coin that can work in China. Isn't this huge? Xspec isn't the only coin that does that.

I remember it's price was over $2 one day
XRP's price was nearly 3$ for a brief moment, but that was due to mini bubble somebody create around Christmas time using Ripple. It was way over 3 dollars for a short while.
