wow. someone is using developer console in the browser to be funny Wink ... well... not

sorry but why are some people hopping they will come back? even if the come back, your coins are gone and no one is getting back something.
if the hack was legit and cloudshitminr.to isn't scamming, they would give us updates and react on the posts here. but there is no reaction, no updates, no more information.
they stole the invested coins, sold the database to someone else to get more coins and working on a new scam site.

just a waste of time to hope for a comeback and that everyone is getting back their coins.

Nope, but it took several days until it reached the "news"  Grin

Yepp. Not that fast that it should be.

the funny thing is that they wrote if there is something on the website than we should not belive it and a few days after that, a list of accounts is on their address. that aren't hackers, just scammers.
that was the plan from the beginning. steal money and make money with the accounts to get more and more money.

if really someone is beliving that this was an hack... sorry but than you are to stupid for this world.

normal developers will encrypt or hash passwords. a lot of websites don't do that. not because they want to make bad things with it but only they are not prepared for vulnerabilities on their site.
but in this case there was a plan behind that. i'm sure.

that none of the admins replied to that list and discussion shows the intention behind that all.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials.. If this will not find anything, I'll download malwarebytes as you recommend, thanks.

never trust a single scanner. use a paid scanner with a good detection rate and malwarebytes as an additional "run when needed" scanner. malwarebytes is well known as a scanner with a high detection rate.
you can upload suspicious files to virustotal and let them check the file with the most known scanner to be sure that nothing will undetected.

Has anybody seen this?

They published all the emails and passwords of their users on the website

And also here: http://pastebin.com/cZ7sy3Gr

my account is not in the list, too and i never use passwords for more than one website so not really a problem. they just need to reset all passwords and everyone is fine.
but how legit is the list? could be old, fake, or just a way to legit the so called hack Wink dont belive in it.

you should never download any software for cloud mining. everthing should work in the browser and does not need any additional software. if you need to download something you can be sure that you will download malware and you can lose all your coins.

if you have private keys on your computer like wallet-files or something that stores private keys you should create an wallet on another safe computer/smartphone and transfer all coins as fast as you can.
7  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: July 12, 2015, 12:50:25 PM
I downloaded the mining app but when I opened the setup.exe or the dashboard.exe it shown the error "iexplorer.exe this application could not be runned"

are you serious? i hope you have a good anti-virus scanner and all your bitcoins in cold storage Wink

Bad is, that i invested a few days ago after the 100ghs testperiod. very bad but i learned about that.
in a few weeks there will be another cloudminer from the cloudminr.io admins and they will scam again.

that none of the admins reply on the comments here shows how legit the so called "hack" is.

All HYIP programs are Ponzi schemes. An altcoin is not an investment program, but most altcoins are pump and dumps designed to reward the developers.

i want to say that. most altcoins are crap because nobody wants to use it. it would be better if more people try to integrate bitcoin instead of creating new coins, based on the same technique as bitcoin
12  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: July 09, 2015, 03:32:35 PM
Well, my rules of investment should explain why I never losed anything. Split former winnings as much you can and never reinvest before you reach 101% over all again. Allways use fresh HYIPs, because of first-in->first-out. Late investors pay the early once, because all HYIPs (and scammers) need some investors with good ROIs for advertising. It' so easy ...
Have a look on HYIP-Monitors for fresh HYIPS under 2.5%/day AND the ability to release your investment every time you want. (i.e. Aprilcoin did so, and I got a good ROI till they switched to scam.) Don't be greedy - be clever! Short rule: As higher the interests as shorter the runtime as higher the risc as lower your investment.

Thanks for your advice. What is the best HYIP monitor in your opinion? or where can you find the best new paying sites to invest?

i think all to say is...

16  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: July 06, 2015, 07:53:32 PM
Yeah this seems to be the business plan for all Cloud Mining services, thus far. Sucks to get scammed when it does happen tho.

yepp. now the next point of the list can be checked...

17  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: July 06, 2015, 07:16:16 PM
I think cloudminr is a great example of "how to scam people".
What was the plan in my point of view?

  • start a cloud-miner.
  • make people to invest with big discounts and profit calculations.
  • make them to reinvest instead of payout but make payouts to look like a serious service.
  • wait until you've got enough BTC and the BTC price is high.
  • pretend that your service AND - for sure - your twitter-account has been hacked and it takes time to restart a new service
  • use the time to sell the scammed BTC
  • still pretend that the "hackers" do that
  • disappear

i think this is what happend and will happen. i don't belive the official story.
18  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Lohnt sich Mining noch? on: April 14, 2014, 07:45:36 PM
Hallo,

19  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generate public key from 256 bit private key on: April 10, 2014, 07:08:28 PM
The whole point of public key encryption is you cannot generate a public key from a private key, and vice versa.

That's wrong Wink Of course you can generate a public key from a private key. that's a basic function of a key pair cryptography. that is what SSL/TLS do in a HTTPS communication for example.
if you have a private RSA key, you can generate a public key with PuTTYgen from it. you got a public key generated from the private key. you can not decrypt any encrypted data with the public key, but with the private key.

@fbueller:
thank you very much Smiley the lib is using an ECC-lib for generating an private key and a public key from it. that's exactly what i want and it works Smiley

@kjj:
the problem is that i cannot build an private certificate with the private key. i need the public key for that. without the public key openssl will not generate a public key... that's an paradoxon Cheesy

@Wolf0:
mhh my C skills are very limited. don't know how to compile and use it. is there a compiled executable for windows?
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Generate public key from 256 bit private key on: April 08, 2014, 10:08:29 PM
Hi,

i want to build an PHP class with some bitcoin tools for generating a bitcoin address, a WIF key compressed and uncompressed or something else.
i've generated keys with http://brainwallet.org/#generator to test my functions. everything is ok.

now i want to create a public and private key by myself using OpenSSL for windows.
i know that i can generate an EC private key with the following commands:

Code:
openssl ecparam -name secp256k1 -noout -genkey -out key.pem
openssl ec -outform DER -in key.pem -out key.der

private key is starting at byte 9 and length is 32 bytes
public key are the last 65 bytes of the EC private key.
everything works fine and correct.

but now i want to generate a public key just from the 32 byte private key without the whole EC private key "overhead".
it seems to be possible because http://brainwallet.org/#generator do it (private key as hex string in secret exponent).
how can i do this with OpenSSL? is there an easy way to do this?

thx
