A section you might want to add in your list are Crypto Calendars.
These calendars would list upcoming announcements / releases / events / ...

Here are 2 of these sites that i know of:

Sidenote: I personally prefer using coinmarketcal.com as I find it better organized.

Another section that might be interesting to add is Airdrops, I only have 1 website for this tho, but I think there are plenty more around.

I glad to see this comment, thanks. I added first two sites, the third was in list.

Ah sorry for that, didn't notice the airdropalert was in it. And I'm glad i could help Smiley
They've helped me allot those event calendars, hopefully they'll help others too Smiley

Do research like a real investor. Otherwise you are just a gambler.

The one answer that will be repeated multiple times is also the most logical one: Lots and lots of research.

This is sage advice, but is it wrong if this forum member seeks the forum community comment as part of that research process?

If we're going to respond, let's offer some real help. If you can only respond with "do research" you don't have anything to add to the thread.

That is true, but what will the real help be? Participate in helping the OP with every research on all current ICO's?
I get what you are trying to say, don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree that giving useful advice is better then just wasting 'forum space', but besides stating the obvious and telling the main key aspects to look at, there is not that more much you can do. If you want to get more information about a particular coin/token/ico, you will need to check that whitepaper, community, project and all that and there is not that much more you can help with.

The simple difference between your post and mine (and possibly even odolvlodo's post), is context and beauty of the explanation. But the mere facts of the posts are absolutely one and the same.

Research the project.
Read the whitepaper.
Do a background check on the team members.
Check their community (Their own community, Reddit, ... )

And as far as the 'profitable' part goes, this is all tied together with the previous mentioned points mostly.

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending coins to Myetherwallet and making them secure on: February 15, 2018, 07:53:18 PM
Thanks for answers. What would be better exchange  with lower fees? Made yesterday coinbase deposit and their fee is too high too. Any better places?

And etherscan.io ? What is then this if original wallet is at myetherwallet.com

I'm not sure, where are you from? You could maybe use something like Bitstamp.net, but i'm not sure if they're cheaper then you, https://www.bitstamp.net/fee_schedule/
Another exchange that accepts fiat is LiteBit.eu, even tho they are more like a middle exchange (they have a certain supply that they can sell) which means their prices are a bit higher.
I've personally used it myself because they accept Bancontact (direct payment using a debit card), so whenever I wanted to buy something quickly i'd use litebit to buy ETH/or LTC and let it deposit on the exchange I want to trade it for my altcoin.
But like i said, even tho it is easy to use you should defenitly check the current price on Litebit and compare it with any other exchange (like gdax) and see if it's worth it to you.

As for wallets, MEW is indeed a good wallet (been using it myself for some time now).
I use it in combination with MetaMask (chrome extension).
This link shows how to link your MEW to your MetaMask: https://blog.bancor.network/connecting-myetherwallet-to-metamask-e7f3f28fddc8

You can also just go on the MEW website and go to the Send Ether & Tokens tab (https://www.myetherwallet.com/#send-transaction).
Once you clicked on that link, you'll need to login into your account. You have several options, choose the one that fits you and login. Then you'll have the ability to send your tokens.
(in the worst case when you have no other option, chose the private key option and paste your private key in the box and click on unlock)

Still a good time to invest in Ethereum. I'm positive that the price will overcome its ATH on the next uptrend

I joined the airdrop, got my 250 tokens from it. Worked fine for me as well. You probably forgot something due to which you didn't receive yours.

Just watched Accident Man, pretty good. Kinda felt similar to John Wick qua action scenes.

Applied for the airdrop.

Really hope the project works out, read a bit of the whitepaper and sounds promising.
Would be really awesome if everything you mentioned in the paper will be on there. Would be a game changer

You have to maintain your activity. Check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Thanks for that info, I knew the requirements for the ranks, but didn't know it recalculated the activity hourly.

Maak gebruik van Authy. Authy is eigenlijk GA (Google Authenticator is geimplementeerd) maar met een backup systeem.
Heb 2 weken geleden geswitcht van GA naar Authy

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best undervalued coins for 2018 on: December 30, 2017, 06:07:11 PM

This is indeed a good list. Most of my alts that I've invested in, are pretty much mentioned. (Dent, SC, TRX, ADA, XVG, XLM)
All of these coins that I've invested in, seem to be very promising.

But the alt I personally have high hopes for is Dent, i honestly think it will be a really good longer term investment.
(Bought Dent at 0.1 cent (0.001$) and they are swinging at around 1.5 cents (0.015$) at the moment, i honestly think it should hit 10 cent within the next couple of months)
