if your getting crashes/hangs your pushing too hard with the clocks vs voltages
you can adjust in overdrivent while minning. start at 1200/900 and work your way up to 1466/960... with the memory you can go upto to 1105/910 (clock/voltage)
it depends on the individual card - silicon lottery
if your only getting 1400hs you need to enable/disable each card... you can use device manager or much better is to use a devcon script.. if your getting crashes when enable or disable cards check the riser usb, power and pcie cables for that card
use the onboard video connector and virtual memory needs to be 10gb per card
using castxmr you should easily get 1900+ per card

using the b110 BTC+ im at 8 vegas
What are your P7 / P3 states & mv settings? What's the total hashing rate for all 8 cards after the miner has run for a while? Just curious. P7 is 1466/960 memory P3 1105/905 15855 H/s over 24 hours

error 43 could be a riser problem if the card is proven to be working
have you changed the pcie speed (gen1/gen2) in bios?

it quicker to start up than claymore
setup a bat file specifying --opencl (0-2) this give 1970+ h/s
|
|
|
amdcleanup and ddu do the same thing i find it quicker
i cant get claymore to work xmr stak is ok, i use cast xmr - its designed for the vegas

hi use amdcleanup tool if you have flashed to the vega 64 bios use the registry edit file from the yourtube guide RX Vega 64 Undervolting Guide for Blockchain Drivers - Part 2. go device manager and remember the driver key numbers under rx vega properties then details... apply the registry edit with the driver key numbers... reboot use overdrive nt and set the p7 1407 and 841 for voltage, memory set to 1100 and volts to 805 run cast, u should get 1700+ at least maybe 1970 depends on the individual card
i can confim the h110 PRO btc+ handles 7 vegas and rx480 no problems @ 1240w
ill try 8 tomorrow night

Hi R0mi, thanks for linking the page. I've gone through the page and can still only get five out of the six Vega 64s working. Same situation, I get five running and when I try to add the sixth I get the BSOD. Ideas? Windows 10 updated. Ideas?
i wasted 4 hours to this yesterday on a z170 msi carbon gaming, i can only get 5 vegas running then i add a 6th and BSOD.. BUT i can get 6 running vegas running with a rx480 in slot 1.. I've got four on there right now - no issues. Ordered another 2 vegas last night so we'll see if I can get 6 running, seems the more you add the more issues people have.
Be aware this board requires three additional power connectors. 2 molex and 1 sata and supposedly three different cables. Though, from what I've read you can skip the extra sata, and use one molex to power both additional molex's on the board. That kinda caught me off guard.
this worries me, keep us posted

Ok, so I downloaded and made my Devcon folder with the text batch file provided online. It does indeed disable and re-enable my cards. Now this batch file will do this automatically every time the hash rate drops correct?
Another issue before even calling that a success though... once I run the devcon file it resets everything, but then in cast-xmr the vega's don't get renabled. They just show they are getting 0/hs. Do I need another batch file or something to have cast-xmr restart or re-detect the cards?
timeout /t 3 devcon.exe disable "*687F" timeout /t 3 devcon.exe enable "*687F" timeout /t 3
this will disable and re enable all vegas only

the lighting up on bios is a good sign, sometimes i get one card that doesnt light. a quick reboot and its back.
check you risers - these were the main cause of my problems
have u installed the chipset drivers for the mother board?
PITA - Pain In The Arse

do the cards light up (single red light) when the bios screen loads??? you are using on-board graphics? and have disabled crossfire?
nice hash I find a PITA.. you might need to add opencl 1 option.. I would swap cards and risers about and see of the problem follows the swapping. To test i use cast-xmr, you can run one instance per card. option --gpu then the card number
if your Vegas are all the same windows shouldnt need to install the drivers again when you swap about..
keep us posted

i would start by getting one then two cards setup and plugged into the motherboard not by risers and then add the others one by one
60gb will start windows. you will need more space for the virtual memory on a 6 vega and 1 rx480 rig, system information shows 50gb virtual memory is being used out of 120gb available
the risers i binned have a light blue pcie connector ver 002
do the cards light on system start or when there first detected by windows?
|
|
|
hit windows key + R run msinfo32
if BIOS mode is legacy, this causes problems changing GPU'S
|
|
|
i feel your pain i spent many hours over many days on my first rig..
what risers do you have? VER 0002 and flaky with vega so i binned them for VER 0003 and 0006
do you have a SSD or traditional HDD?
problems i see with the setup guide
in bios set all pcie slots to gen2, then in boot - enable csm and set all options to uefi
you will need to reinstall windows if it doesnt boot
when complete disable windows update then shutdown insert first vega first full size slot and install blockchain drivers shutdown install all other vega firstly into the next full size slot then any others boot windows it should load desktop but then freezes for a minute while it detect and install the drivers for the first card.

Just wait a little... r boxes take a few seconds to show up, especially if you have multiple... best thing run cgminer first then plug in
|
|
|
Using the lastest windows cgminer and freq 262 lowered my duplicates from 20k a hour to under 500.

Looking to buy hashfast based miner ( Babyjet, Sierra, Habanero, prospector) idealy just the bare board EU only, shipping to the uk PM me
|
|
|
Why dont you contact sushi through a PM on here.... I have purchased a few antminers from sushi-review and they have all arrived in less than 10 days from China to the UK...
What country are you from hadiwinardi?

Probably someone connect via SSH to the Ant and edit cgminer config (/etc/config/cgminer). Some routers have this port open by default. Go to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and check SSH port (22) is open. If open , close it, and most of all change default password to the Ant. this is my conclusion as well.... caused by poor security/complacency and leaving passwords on default

the miner affected was on the default IP connected with a bunch of others S1's to a hub then to the internet router. this could happen to someone else?
