Did anyone succeed in contacting the guys whose photos were on Boscombe website?

I'm asking because the photos had been taken down.

If you want to look at it:

1) go to https://or.justice.cz/ias/ui/rejstrik-$
2) put Boscombe in the search field and press Hledat
3) then click on link "Sbírka listin"
4) click on link "C 218244/SL 3" in the column "Číslo listiny"
5) the document is hidden in the section "Obsah", look for "PDF podoba"

Previous post was from me, I've posted from my old account. Smiley
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Boscombe Pierlytics on: December 12, 2013, 02:52:01 PM
I think it's not necessary to call or visit them:

The company Boscombe Pierlytics is a "ready-made business" set up by http://www.profispolecnosti.cz/en/. They even use their "Virtual Office" service (http://www.profispolecnosti.cz/en/services/virtual-office), headquarters address match one of the offered.

The only thing I'd be afraid of is, whether Zdeněk Skupeň is really behind this scam or someone abused his ID card and set up a company using his identity. Nothing uncommon here in Czech Republic Sad

LOL, I already regret I've spent so much time on investigating these clowns.  Grin

EDIT: I've edited out the other Zdeněk Skupeň, as it seems he is totally unrelated to anything above.

Is there anything we can do about this? I bet they are fooling a lot of newbies. Sad

As if there isn't enough evidence, I'm gonna go ahead and beat on this dead horse some more, I hope you guys don't mind.

They just modified an image of an SSD card

http://www.asus.com/Storage/RAIDR_Express_PCIe_SSD/

This image:

http://rog.asus.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/angle-large2-e.jpg

and photoshopped it:

https://i.imgur.com/NSWizUl.jpg
(above linked to imgur so they can't change it, original is here: http://www.skyminerlabs.com/pics/2/preview.jpg)

And they just used the specs from the the BFL Monarch

http://www.butterflylabs.com/monarch/

The best thing is that SkyMinerLabs actually weren't the first photoshopping ASUS RAIDR Express PCIe SSD. It was Virtual Minig Corp with their Fast-Hash PCIe modules:

http://virtualminingcorp.com/shop1/index.php?id_product=26&controller=product

(notice also the Chenbro RM423 4U rack chassis, image of which was also used by both Virtual Mining Corp and SkyMinerLabs)  Grin

Zdravim,

viete mi poradit niaku zmenaren EUR->BTC / BTC->EUR ktora bez problemov posiela / prijma platby na/zo slovenskeho uctu ? Mate niake skusenosti s justcoin.com ? Diki.

S justcoin.com zkušenosti nemám.

Velmi dobře funguje kombinace Fio banka a dagensia.eu nebo bitstamp.net.

Když to půjde, časem rozšířím.

Hey SkyMinerLabs, there's this one missing on your site:

Tak jsem si pro zajímavost směnil 0,02 BTC na závratných 354,- Kč přes dagensia.eu a nechal si to poslat na účet do Fio banky.

Přišlo bez problémů po dvou a půl hodině. Takže asi tak.

stevo_k1, ještě jak jsme se bavili o danění / nedanění. Já jsem zatím nic konkrétního nezjistil, ale na http://forum.jaknabitcoin.cz/ se objevil tenhle thread se zajímavou informací od veeminera:

12  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Česky on: December 05, 2013, 11:35:32 AM

Is this really him or just an imposter?

Hard to tell, but who would want to post as TheSwede75 in the first place?  Wink

0.3BTC from me

I didn't hold my shares till the end and can't join this action directly, but I want to support those, who weren't so lucky.

Let's shove all the 16 cores of Labcoin's imaginary chip up his ass (PGA package preffered).

Thanks LCSH and all involved

I believe this restriction goes away once you spend some amount of time online.

EDIT: Just tried it and it is so. I made this post immediately after I logged in.

It's unbelievable that this story appeared even in Czech media yesterday Cheesy

http://www.novinky.cz/internet-a-pc/320623-brit-vyhodil-disk-s-bitcoiny-v-hodnote-150-milionu-ted-prohledava-skladku.html

They even provided details (I wonder if they made everything up):

- he somehow acquired 7,500 coins in 2009
- later he spilled a drink in the computer!
- he sold all the components worth it and put the harddrive into drawer
- he found the drive this year while doing some housekeeping and tossed it into garbage
- he started to search the landfill site 4 months later
- according to the landfill operator the layer of waste with the drive is buried 1.5m (~5ft) under the surface

LOLZ!

19  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 26, 2013, 06:56:36 PM

Interesting thanks for sharing. Still not convinced this will result in significantly more efficient chips. As we have seen how AM 144nm tech competes with KNC 28nm, I wonder how 40nm vs 28nm will compare.

There's a notice on the linked page that KnC's 20nm design should reduce power draw per GH by some 30%. That would be somewhere around 0.7W/GH, given that 28nm Jupiter is listed with ~1W/GH (at wall).

Now, IIRC 40nm ASICminer's chip is expected to perform at 0.2W/GH.

Is 0.7 w/gh for knc chip or entire asic?

They list Jupiter efficiency for the entire miner (at wall), I don't know how it's in reality though Smiley. So, I'd say that 0,7W/GH should be for entire miner also. But can not speak for themselves.
