Got 2 juicy updates / news today. 1. PIVX Development Update - Week 3, December 2020This latest update covers the recent development highlights such as the SHIELD testnet testing results, new TR3 testnet wallet release, as well as some new and exciting information on what else is coming in 2021! https://pivx.org/news/pivx-development-update-week-3-december-20202. New PIVX SHIELD Testnet (TR3) Wallet Released! After a very successful 2 week testing period with the previous TR2 wallet, a whole heap of new bug fixes, performance improvements, and consensus changes have since been merged into master. Due to this, a new testnet has been deployed (testnet5), and the subsequent TR3 wallet is now available to public testing once again. The list of PRs merged between tr2 and tr3 can be found in PR #2078. Please note that this TR3 wallet is not compatible with the previous TR2 testnet blockchain. So it will create a new testnet5 folder on your system and start as a brand new wallet, requiring you to acquire some fresh new tPIV from the updated faucet (link below). TR3 Download / Release Notes https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v4.9.99tr3Notes1. You must run the wallet with -testnet parameter (or testnet=1 in pivx.conf) 2. A couple of param files need to be copied onto the system. See release notes. 3. Testnet Explorer: https://blockbook-testnet.pivx.link/4. Testnet Faucet: https://faucet.pivx.link/It would help us tremendously if you test out this release, and report any findings to PIVX Discord's #pivx_testnet channel, or directly on PIVX GitHub.
