An altcoin exchange would be better.

I have a handful of transactions that have been sitting in limbo for a few weeks too. Was trying FS out from a-ads to experiment with, but didn't expect this. A-ads accelerates things when things like this happen. It wasn't that much, but every bit counts.

I've been into bitcoin since 2012/2013 and for years I had no issues until 2016 when I foolishly invested in a "cloud mining" operation called Bitminister.com, and they stole about 3 bitcoin from me.

Sometimes good lessons can be painful.

It's a scam. I test things out like this, and "upgraded" to a paid account. I had 4 payouts, and since then I've not received a single bit. All requests are pending. With the paid version v1.2 it says payouts can take 10 days... welp, 20 days later and still nothing.

I agree with what's been said here all these "cloud mining" sites are 100% scams.

See anything? Welp, a few months ago Bitminister were working fine then they all the sudden quit payouts. I ended up losing a lot of money, and now (obviously) they built Bitfin and are doing the same exact thing to people.

It's great to keep off the grid, as long as your people are sending you BTC. Then there are services that allow the exchange, and you keep at some distance away from Jewish Banksters.

I don't have faith in Bitcoin anymore because it's a fraud. No I'm not a Troll, I gave it a chance. I think it's a scam to bring in a new one world currency. The Fed Reserve wants this. JP Morgan Chase wants this. The tyrants of Wallstreet want this. China wants this. Can this not be any clearer? Even the so called "Bitcoin Foundation" are kissing the boots of the illegitimate government to regulate it and use it for their needs...The coverage has been everywhere on this despite other topics of greater concern are ignored. So this stinks to high hell and I'm done for the most part. I think other elements of survival in this Brave New World are more reassuring like metal, ammo, and etc.

It's a good video - I saw it a few days ago and it's obviously an infomercial to sell books. But it isn't anything new and Edison was not the only/first one to conceptualize such a thing. There are many in history who've tried to prevent such awful things as centralized international banking cartels. I just wish people into Bitcoin would be more supportive of the principles and not the get rich schemes or the wolves in sheeps clothing Fabian Wallstreet scum around. It's about breaking the bonds of enslaving centralized banking/government and bringing back true free trade among the people. Not this garbage Rockefeller "competition is a sin" stuff that's infested business for a hundred years.

I had the exact same experience as csargent this past week too. Cashed out BTC was expecting my money in my account on Wed and on Wed nothing was there. I also was not able to sign into my account either because the SMS verification wasn't working for some reason. I emailed them and they got back to me in about 5 hours and said the transfer took about 3-4 days. I could log into my account a few hours later during the day, and my money was in my account on Thursday. I just think their notification of when the money would arrive in the bank account is a bit inaccurate and it depends on the bank. They've never failed me as far as selling/buying, etc. I've never not had things go missing, so my overall experience them has been very good despite my recent worry.

Yeah, thanks guys. The value is just rising and rising. But I don't want to bring it down either. I do have confidence in what it's about. I believe in it, but wow the value is skyrocketing to a point it feels dangerous, so these are VERY interesting times.

Long term, but I don't want to invest too much when things become so volatile. I understand the current climate and this week could be a big deal. Just don't want to lose too much this week.

I want bitcoin to succeed but it's rising in value so fast is it even wise to buy now or just let what you have in your wallet stay and ride this out? I want to invest more in a few days but due to the price increase it's getting to be "too much" and I would hate for it to all the sudden fall in value. So, are your thoughts on this? I know this is new to everyone but what do you feel? Thanks.

I'll make this simple to just start off with a decent post. I've been seeing posts on here of fears concerning the current drop with bitcoin. Well here's my take;

It's nothing to worry about. These things rise and fall, but the long term is what's important. When I began buying they were at $13 a coin. We're still a few hundred in for a coin which isn't bad still. For some reason I feel the weekends bring this on, but by the time Monday rolls around people will take advantage of the low cost rising it up again. So, when it's low buy, when it's high buy something and support vendors with bitcoin. To me I'm here because of the principles of bitcoin. I'm not to the point of making mass profits but again that's not the point for me. To me this is about supporting something that means something - decentralized currency and privacy as much as possible.
