And coinbase where do they stand they laundered stolen money? Hasn't that been proven already? Why can't we as a collective file a suit with them? They seem to be rolling in cash lately, with any bad publicity they might even settle?

From the docs there are three parties which have purchased the remainder of scam coins the receivers could get access to in the wallets left.

The btc, Ltc and other valuable coin wallets could not be recovered so the plaintiffs will share in the distribution of the tangible recovered property - house, ring, infinity SUV etc after legal fees 66% distributed to plaintiffs.

I may be wrong if someone has some updated info closer to the receivers but we are not getting a refund of our coins.

We are better off pumping a coin on an exchange as the Cryptsy scammed us collective and profiting in a few months time.

Even if they track him down the govt have Nfi how to recover the funds, they never return anything to the original holders anyway.

Because if they did process payments legitimately you might be able to get the money they have stolen from people back from the credit card companies!

If this sort of investment was regulated you would be investigated.

Investing in your company and a few months later 95% of the original funds evaporated into nothing and you kept the original equipement which we purchased and can never be re activated.

Where is the equipement, what are you doing with it?

I call bullshit on genesis mining as we paid for the equipment which they then decided to use with other clients for their long term contracts which did not expire.

Scrypt mining is now profitable again, an honorable company would reinstate the original agreement which is very easy to action in their systems.

Their so called generous offer to convert from scrypt mining will take 30 + years to even recover the original investment!

There is no return on an investment in this, it is a big scam and a waste of your money.

So when is scrypt mining going to be reactivated? never...

And what is happening with all that scrypt hardware everyone payed for? collecting dust or has it been sold off...

At this rate of 10 to 1 conversion it will take 30 years to recover the amount of the initial investment.

If BTC was regulated and a legitimate finance company did this they would be closed down.

So they are happy to convert a loosing investment for 10 to 1 in their favor and then have the audacity to say it is not real money we never said we are converting what you actually paid us into the equivalent from scrypt to sha256.

I think Genesis need to reevaluate the script coin market and provide another option either introduce other coins on BTC auto or lower their fees.

The rate we are going now roi is looking very dismal if we keep trying the same thing expecting a different result.

Looking at the coin market surely there are few more speculative coins which are more profitable.

Maybe introduce a high risk/high return auto coin option which is market determined with an algorithm constantly updating and providing changes to the most profitable coin?

Overall I think Genesis have allot going for them the website gui, professionalism, response speed are top notch although like any business things change in the market and they need to adapt and refine their strategy to be profitable for their clients.

Nothing has changed except the actual proof of what was already suspected, that mt gox were mismanaging clients funds and were caught out.   

As per any currency, stock or commodity these are ruled by perception and crowd sentiment and can be altered at any time by future events both positive and negative based on greed and fear.   

I talk to people all the time and the average layman are not involved in crypto at all or have a very vague idea as to how bitcoin actually operates.

The resemblance is similar to the beginning stages of the internet with some getting involved, others sitting on the sidelines watching and others laughing in skepticism as they do not understand the implications of what is currently happening.

The tools and vessels will alter and adapt over time but the idea is just too powerful to be ignored.
