1-    The new version of Android app released. Please check “App ID” segment in the app menu
2-    We are still working on the iOS app and will try to make it available for the public during this iteration.
3-    Fundraising for the trading bounty did not complete yet. We need at least 100,000 Nilu for the campaign. Participate, please.

Main tasks for next 2 weeks
1-    Working on the layer-2 bank.
2-    Working on the iOS version.
3-    Trying to raise more Nilu for the campaign.


Note: As all of you know, the entire cryptocurrency market is in a bearish state. Moreover, the Ethereum market is dropped even more than the median market change. It makes the situation for Etherum clones more complicated. Nilu is an Ethash based coin with little market size. One of our main goals during this market situation is surviving and then going ahead. Fortunately, MetaBank will make an incentive for big Nilu holders and this can be a key feature for the coin to pass this bearish market and make good raise during the next bullish market
One more thing. For most of you, Nilu is just a part of your portfolio. This is obviously a reasonable strategy. At the other side, For the Dev team, Nilu is actually the “Only” asset. 1- A referral based bounty program started for Nilu. Every user can register on referral program and get bounty based on his referred users. The bounty page is here: https://meta.nilu.tech/invite
2- A new version of iOS app is released and available on testflight now.

4- Working on a no-lose lottery DApps. One for miners and one for all of the community members.

1- Working on the referral campaign to aware more people about the project. For this, we need the help of the community. It is very important for all of us to make the community bigger and more active.
2- Finalizing and private testing the layer-2 bank.
3- Finalizing and private testing no-lose lottery DApps.

What happened to Nilu during last 2 weeks?
1- Nilu bank profit payment settled successfully and with no issue.
2- The new version of the iOS app is ready for release now. It delayed because of some issue from the previous iteration.
3- Working on the layer-2 bank. The source code of the current stage is also available for review and bug bounty lovers!
4- Nilu listed on Coinoah. We are also negotiating with other exchanges, it takes time but hopefully will have great results.

2- Working on a referral based bounty web app for Nilu, which let to users to share their referral links with their friends and earn Nilu. We try to release this service during this iteration.

What happened to Nilu during last 2 weeks?
 
1-    Nilu forked to Nilu 2.0 successfully on block number 1,000,000
2-    MetaBank successfully started on block number 1,006,800
3-    A new version of Android app is available on Google play and GitHub now. In this new version, MetaBank depositors can send withdrawal request. (I will publish the instruction)
4-    The new version of the iOS app is almost ready for publishing and will be available during this week.
5-    Based on a naming campaign on Weibo for Nilu’s Chinese name “麋鹿” selected by the community. 1 Eth, 30 EOS and 4000 Nilu paid to the campaign winner and campaign participants.
6-    Coinoah team are working on listing Nilu on their exchange. Because of some changes on their side, it takes some time but we hope to see Nilu on Coinoah during this iteration. Listing on Coinoah, will help our community members from China to trade Nilu easily.

How to deposit?
You can deposit in MetaBank by sending a transaction to the bank address:
0x8e50150e3861a985542a0caf581bdf35a3f85ddc, in addition you can simply scan QR code on MetaBank page (https://meta.nilu.tech/bank) by your mobile wallet.

How can I check my bank account status?
Using MetaBank webpage (https://meta.nilu.tech/bank), you can find your:
•    POD Balance (the amount of the deposit that gain benefit)
•    Waiting deposit (the amount that will be added to POD balance on the next round)
•    Waiting withdraw (the amount that will settle to your wallet on the next round)
•    Total paid (total amount that paid to you, both by withdraw or as the benefit)


What is the minimum deposit amount?
50,000 Ɲ, if you send less than this amount, your transaction will fail. If you already paid equal or more than 50,000 Ɲ, you can pay less amount and your new payments will add to your previous balance on the next round.
If you deposit equal or more than 50,000 Ɲ but withdraw some amount and decrease your bank balance to less than 50,000, you will get no reward on the next rounds. In this situation, your deposits will remain in the temporary section.

What is the process of profit share?
At the end of each round, about 120,000 Ɲ shared between bank depositors based on their shares in total deposits of the bank. Each depositor will gain her profits on her depositor wallet address.

How can I withdraw my coins from the bank?
You should call the “withdraw” method with the “amount” as the parameter from MetaBank smart contract. Alternatively, you can simply use your mobile wallet (the next version which will be available on the next week) and scan withdraw QR code on the bank web page.

A valid concern, you can read the contract code We designed a decentralised scenario for it. The MetaBank smart contract also could be changed by the community vote, but even the dev team could not change the code solely.

What happened to Nilu during last 2 weeks?

1-    The community voted for a new reward share model for Nilu 2.0 (POW/POD). The reward will split equally between the miners and the depositors.
2-    A new version of the iOS APP published. This new version supports user-made token transfers.
3-    Working on a Chinese enable version of Android APP, which will be available during this iteration.
4-    We ran two test bounty campaigns on Twitter and Weibo. The rewards will be paid by the settlement API until tomorrow. We also expose API documents during this iteration.
5-    We made some changes to MetaBank architecture. The new version of the code is available on GitHub now. You can read more on review segment of NIP-1. This new version is more community oriented and we will have more flexibility. I will prepare a document to describe the new architecture for non-developers.

Main Dev tasks for next 2 weeks

1-    Publishing new version of Nilu core delayed from the previous iteration. This new version (Nilu 2.0) will publish in this iteration.
2-    Publishing a new android version.
3-    Working on the new iOS version.
4-    Keeping contact with the community, especially miner pool owners, about migration to Nilu 2.0.
5-    In the case of full success in item 4, we can go for POD hardfork.

Core Dev
1-    The iOS version published for beta testing. You can gen invitation here: http://104.sites.boardingbot.boorgle.com/ this is just the first public release and a new version will be available during this iteration.
2-    Working a new android version with some improvement for user-made tokens.
3-    Final tests on the MetaBank completed successfully. Now, we are technically ready for new Nilu but launching Nilu 2.0 needs two more things:
•    deciding on the reward share between POW and POD
•    All of Nilu full nodes should be updated to the new version and mining pools should be prepared for the change on rewards. I will contact to mining pool owner to inform them about the changes.
4-    A beta version of a new front page for the website lunched. It still has some technical issues with different browsers but we try to have a bug free version during this iteration.
5-    Launching NNS was planned for this iteration, but unfortunately delayed. It wasn’t because of technical issues, but we decided to do more focus on the POD system.

Main Dev tasks for next 2 weeks
1-    The community should decide on the reward share between miners and holders (POW/POD). We will run a DApp based vote for it. There will be kseven options (From 1-7 to 7-1) and each member can vote to desired option by sending a 0 Ɲ transaction to the related smart contract. The option which has the most total balance on its participating wallets on an specific block number (which will announce later and before the start of vote) will win.
2-    Website improvement.
3-    Publishing a new improved iOS version
4-    Publishing a new improved Android version
5-    Publishing a new Nilu core and preparing for the hardfork.
6-    After running more tests on the bot API during this iteration (through bounty campaigns), this API will be available for public usage.

1-    Nilu explorer API source code published on GitHub
2-    Instagram bounty bot and also the bot API tested successfully. Related API will available for other developers during this week.
3-    The new version of Android app released (Available for direct download from GitHub but waiting for Google play approval). This new version is the first one with the capability of direct mobile to network smart contract deployment.
4-    The iOS version is ready for the public beta test. Waiting for App Store procedures.
5-    NNS (Nilu Name Service) is ready for final deployment! .nilu domains will be available on an auction-based market. We also have .me.nilu domains for just 1 Nilu. Others top-level domains will be available gradually. Other registrars are also can have their own TLD on NNS.
6-    Working on MetaBank smart contract development. It will be completed during this iteration.

About attracting more members to the community, agree with you that we should do more. Right now our most active communities are discord (with about 340 members and not 137) and QQ group (with about 1600 members). After successful release of iOS app, we will run some social network bounty campaign to attract more users to the community.

Now, we have a new (much faster!) blockchain explorer for Nilu here: https://meta.nilu.tech/explorer this explorer is developed by the Nilu team (will be available on GitHub during this week) The new explorer has better speed that the old one and more features like displaying related smart contracts (including ERC20 tokens) for a wallet. More features will be added.
2- Creating a better first page for nilu.tech has started.
3- A proposal document about POD rewarding system published on GitHub. Fortunately with good feedback from the community and market.
4- POD based Nilu 2.0 network and the hardfork procedure tested and still testing! Things going well.
5- Preparing new Android version for release. Sorry for the delay and wait for a BIG new feature! we can release it during next week.
6- The iOS app is ready for public beta testing now. But looking for a way for it! Submitted to app store for test flight review.
