have you tried 8gb ram for the mobo's? I use minimum of 8gb for all my rigs, which all mostly run dual channel ddr3 8gb, I think I have 1 rig that is doing single channel but that's because I goofed. I don't see any of the silly problems majority of noobs seem to experience, only thing ive had to experience so far is not enough power for the gpus and that's it
maybe try an ssd instead of a pendrive too, those were never made for what you are trying to use it for
Thanks. I actually have a couple extra sticks around here. I will try it an report back.

Hey Guys, I just started mining January and was able to piece together a few rigs. The rigs that have all identical cards are running flawlessly for days. But, I have 2 that keep crashing after like 6 hours or so.
I am losing my mind! I posted the below specs about 2 weeks ago in another thread and I think I posted in the wrong area because I didn't get to much of a response.
One guys said that I have bad risers......since then I have replaced the risers and updated the bios got shorter extension cords...But still these 2 rigs crash about every 6 hours.
Any Ideas at all?
Running them on SMOS with ewbf-0.3.4b mining zclassic
Both rigs use the following hardware:
GIGABYTE GA-Z270P-D3 LGA1151
Intel BX80662G4400 Pentium Processor G4400 3.3 GHz
Ballistix Sport LT 4GB Single DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200)
Lexar JumpDrive S75 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive
VICTONY GPU Riser Adapter
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2, 80+ GOLD 850W
Also 5 intake fans per rig on open air cases.
Rig #1 uses the following cards: 4 x Gigabyte AORUS XTREME GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 2 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB

Not overclocked and still crashing after a few hours or less. I am feeding 90volts to the 1060s and 100volts to the 1070s.
No more than 2 risers per sata cable.
PLEASE HELP!
Any suggestions?

All is good. I like that you guys post updates on here when the online interface is down.
Hoping for some help again. I have 5 rigs. 3 all use the same card and are working fine. 2 of the rigs will not stabilize even when not over clocking..

The scan for errors is fine, it pops up on my usb's with smos on too.
Yes, you should be upgrading your MB bios to latest.
About the GPU list, once it boots, you can play with it and realise fast which one's which.
Thank you buddy.

I have one rig which will not show up on my SMOS dashboard. 4 others running smooth now...thanks for the help. When I put the SMOS flash drive into my windows based computer, the pop up to scan disk for errors pops up. Would this prohibit SMOS from working on my mining rig? Any ideas what I might be doing wrong. I did put my user email in the config file on the flash drive. Thanks!
Also, should I be upgrading the bios on my MOBO's? I am running the Gigabyte z27op-d3 board.
Oh...one more thing...in the SMOS console, are the gpu's listed in order that they are plugged in to the MOBO?

Thank you for the help with setting up my wallets! I'm getting paid now! Just curious..All of the cards are the similar model Gigabyte GPU's...but there is like 75 Sol/s variation on one or two. Hi have been mining for 48 hours at approx. 1900 sols on miner name dstm-v0.5.7 with this under options --server europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --port 20570 --user youraccount.$rigName --pass x
and 48 hours with a 2 card rig at 42 mh/s on miner name claymore-eth-v10.2 with this under options
-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -asm 1
My wallet has the 0x at the beginning of it. Does in look like this is all set up correctly? I have been holding my breath for a payment on the first rig for 2 days now thinking something would pop into my account.
Also, I am in the US, not europe...does this matter? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
I'm on mph as well, your configuration looks OK for mph, just make sure you actually replace "youraccount" with your actual account name that you created on mph. Hole E Crap...I need to have an account on MPH? I had no idea. And every other pool? Just setup and acct on MPH. Does this look right now? Do I need to enter my rig name? THANK YOU!!
--server europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --port 20570 --dirtydeeds.$rigName --pass x

Hello...new to mining and using SMOS. I have 2 rigs on SMOS. How do payouts work? Have had one rig online with dstmv057 for 36 hours and haven't received anything. Thanks for the help RcalinI guess these are my questions: How frequent are payouts? - Depends on pool.Is there anyway to change the payout threshold? - Tell us what pool are you using. It looks like dwarfpool.com If I switch pools will I get a pay out for a pool that I only mined in for say 5 hours? - Yes, if you submitted shares, you will get payd for those shares. If I have 2 miners in 1 pool, will the payout be combined, or one payout per rig? - Payment is per account/address, not rig. Unless you use different addresses for each rig, you should be getting one payment.Thank you in advance...please help this noob! Is it normal for some cards to not like mining certain algorithms? I have 2 rigs, one with 6 asus 1060's that are doing fine, on the other I have 2 gigabyte gtx 1060s that are unstable on equihash..but do fine on ETH. Hello, Please find answers in red. Mine in green.

Having a similar problem. One of my cards was mining 100 Sols less on dstmv057.
Switched to mining Eth on claymore-eth-v10.2
Now both cards are performing about the same at 20-21Mh/s.
Any idea why that would be?
Sorry I am brand new to mining...
