New to the Forum and getting back into mining after I stopped years ago. I even have some Asic cube miners sitting in my basement holding some papers down. I have just built a new rig and having some issues.

Build Specs

SMOS Using DSTM but have tried EWBF also same results just lower Sols
Gigabyte Z270P-D3
g4400 processor
4gb ram
Zotac 1060 6gb AMP = 6 GPUS
1 GPU on MB rest are on risers.
EVGA 850 Platinum power supply
No monitor connected

Mother Board Bios Updated to newest Version.

Been Mining for a week trying to stabilize rig. Mining only Equihash algos.

Issues I'm having.

GPU 5 always has 30 Sols less than all other cards. Sometimes It Changes to another card and GPU5 will be fine.
Card will drop off after several hours still running but not mining.
Also having some invalid shares "been dropped from pool twice cause of it I believe"  1 to 2 % is highest I ever see.

I have reduced Overclock to the following but still not resolving issue of invalid shares.

Overclock at this time is set to following.
70 Core
500  Mem
Power 80
Hottest Card is at 53c so not a heat issue.

Average 1725 Sol / 3.65w at the moment.

Hope I stated things clear enough for some suggestions.

Thank You in advance to anyone willing to give there input.

Have you tried to Lower your Mem to 300, Core to 100?

here are 1060 users that shared their clocks and experiences, might be a great help and a good read for you

As you are using GTX1060s,
before overclocking you should be aware of the memory manufacturer, i.e. - Samsung, Micron, Hynix.
Each memory type can hit up to +150 core clock without any issues but its a totally different scenario when it comes to memory OC.
Samsung can do  +800 to +900 without any issues.
Micron can do  +450 to +500.
Hynix can do  +100 to +150.
(Above results are according to my testing)

As it is smOS, the issue is hard to find.
Anyway, I'll recommend you to try nvOC, it is also a Linux Distro built specifically for Nvidia GPU mining rigs.
Give it a try and I'm sure that your problem will be solved by it.

Having a similar problem.  One of my cards was mining 100 Sols less on dstmv057.

Switched to mining Eth on claymore-eth-v10.2

Now both cards are performing about the same at 20-21Mh/s.

Any idea why that would be?

Sorry I am brand new to mining...

I switched out the riser that seems to have stabilized the rig " keeping fingers crossed'. About 10 Sols difference now just need to get the invalid shares gone. Will try lowering the clock/mem speeds to see if that solves that issue. I did make a windows drive I can find out exact mem cards have with that but Ive seen videos with exact same card using Samsung unless manufacture uses whatever is on hand that it would be different.

Had some time today to test each card. My bad luck I was able to buy 5 out of the six in one batch and they are all Micron Memory and last one you guessed it is Hynix. So now I will clock them and test to see if I can get rid of having any invalids. I will try to find the answer if core on Micron is ok at 100 also.

dont become to greedy to get 30 sols more on 1 gpu, it can have different memory or something else. every gpu is different even from the same brand.
you earn more money in the long view with a rig that is 5% slower and stable than with a rig that is 5% faster and unstable.

I totally agree treanski. Thats why I tested them today so I can set overclocks accordingly to keep rig stable so I don't have to check on it all the time. And to know exactly what I have as well.

Rig has still been unstable as 1 card still dropping off after awhile. Changed core/mem settings nothing changed. So now I set pcie to gen 2 from auto and getting highest sols ever on rig average of 1800. I don't see anything in Bios for 4g encode but maybe the PCIe in gen 2 mode will fix issue.
