2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Central Banks to STOP Printing Money in Dec 2018...How will this effect Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2018, 03:45:03 PM
It is now a known fact that central banks are printing money, and buying stocks to fuel their economy...

But this is coming to an end as of December 2018...
What will this mean for the greenback, and what will this mean for Bitcoin?

Sources raising this question:
ECB to stop printing money in December 2018 - The Independant
THE EU PRINTED €700 BILLION AS A DESPERATE PLAN TO SAVE THE ECONOMY. IT FAILED. WHAT NOW? - Green European Journal
Europe is getting ready to stop printing money. It shouldn’t. - The Washington Post - "Democracy Dies in Darkness"

If you want true, un-arguable fact of this, look at the sources list of this video, or just watch the video and research the comments made, you will find they are true (straight from the SEC website):
Video: The REAL Reason Why Stocks Haven’t Collapsed!
TOO LONG DIDNT WATCH... ^-- Central bank printing money, institutions buying assets/stocks, leading to roaring growth as of 2014/2015-2018

Have you ever seen a bubble like this, not burst? What will happen when it does?

Very few services will offer this due to unauthorized purchases and possible returns.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: September 02, 2018, 06:50:43 PM
Yes I believe it can be called a digital gold and is seen as an asset.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide !!!! on: August 29, 2018, 03:38:17 PM
It’s a good start. Although I think it’s quite a puny amount compared with the current population. They are still very inaccessible for a majority of people.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: August 29, 2018, 03:36:17 PM
As always “People fear what the do not understand”. They need to do research before making such accusations...
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is dangerous.... on: August 29, 2018, 03:34:44 PM
I think this is a bad generalization. It’s all about perspective and how you use something... A knife can cut bread and cause harm to a living being.
It’s how it’s used.

I've been chatting with Drahog and he's very sweet and he's going through a lot right now. I want to believe him that what you're saying isn't true (especially the racial stuff) because he has been extremely nice to me. I know I was skeptical of him at first but, I've gotten to know him more.

Whatever the truth is I hope you guys can find peace with this.

Just man up and ask your brother "Are you still with (sister in law here), are you seeing someone else?"

Yeah, just ask him. Don't give out his password. Maybe if you know it you should check (have you ever snooped before on him, and why do you know his pass?).

No, I don't snoop on my brother. I know his password because we exchanged them. Sometimes he knows someone on fb he wants to show to me and the only way to view their full profile is through his. I never log in unless he gives me permission.

So while I'm tempted to log in and just see if he's contacting this girl I just love my brother for trusting me with his password in the first place and I would never, ever want to betray him.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk, I need your advice... on: December 06, 2013, 07:54:50 PM
I can see your problem, I've had this VERY simmilar issue come to me before, ultimately it's your choice to snoop or not, This is where you make your choice, do you break a boundary by sneaking into your brothers personal life and reading his private facebook account data and relay it to your Inlaw? Or do you give the password to the girl, further erroding the privacy/trust bond between your brother and you even more than the previous mentioned idea?
Perhaps the right choice is to Stand Back and not do anything, That way you're not at blame for "things happening" however you could be blamed for "doing nothing" HOWEVER, you doing something requires you to access an account that does not belong to you, an account's private data belongs to the owner of the account (or facebook, I dont use it, fk them)

So, Do you Steal and Relay information "for the greater good"?
Do you Give away a Stolen password (i don't care how you got it) "for her"?
Do you stand back as an innocent bystander because you would have to break a technical law to "do something"?

You can obviously see wich of the three choices i picked.
Have a good gamble!

Just man up and ask your brother "Are you still with (sister in law here), are you seeing someone else?"

Yeah, I feel like that's HER place if she wants to bring it up. I wasn't the one who snooped his phone in the first place. I for one do not support snooping in any regard because things can be taken out of context so easily, and it can ruin relationships. That's why it's frowned upon in the first place!
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rest in peace... on: December 06, 2013, 07:49:49 PM
I read some distubring stuff yesterday about the reason Mandela being in prison for so long not because of his political views, but because he and his group were bombing civilians  Undecided Complicated history here...

It seems that often when you dig on person turns out they did some or had some rather disturbing things or views. Like Mother Theresa...

and ghandi, and martin luther king.. you see all these public heroes, and you begin to question everything. it's a vicious cycle. sometimes i have to ask myself if i'm being too cynical, and i don't know what the answer really is. all these people that we've been told to worship are still human beings after all.

When I read MLK was a noted womanizer and beat his wife, it's like my world crumbled around me. I didn't want to believe it because when I was a kid he was my absolute hero. Like you said, they are still human beings and no one is perfect. Some are more perfect than others but no one is absolutely perfect.

Somewhat off topic: This is why I never understood celebrity worship. The entertainment industry is an industry of smoke and mirrors. I cannot fathom how anyone can tolerate Beyonce knowing she's as dumb as a box of rocks and clearly worships herself, and she's enough of a greedy asshole to do ads for Pepsi and speak out on initiatives for reducing obesity in the US... Celebrities are tools of brainwashing the public, keeping them distracted.

/conspiracy theory/rant over

I'd go out on a limb and say most if not all world leaders/figures have blood on their hands in some regard. Politics is a dirty game no matter how clean you are going in. Still, Mandela's positive effect on South Africa and the world at large cannot be denied.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any wallets available on the iphone? on: December 06, 2013, 07:30:15 PM
You can upload your wallet to blockchain.info and use their app at https://blockchain.info/wallet/iphone-app

This is the only wallet app in the App Store (I think!).

Try it and let us know if that worked for you. Also, it's a good idea to avoid using your laptop if it's not updated.

Thanks guys!! I'll try it out and let you know...

She thinks my brother is cheating on her. She says she snooped his phone and saw some texts from some girl that read, "You're adorable. How soon can we meet?" and "I'm wearing close to nothing. I'm freezing."

Well what did the other messages say? We/you need more context. If they were:

Brother: I just saved a bunch of puppies from a burning building. Do you want to meet up so I can give you one?
Girl: You're adorable. How soon can we meet?

Then no. But if:

Brother: I want to bury my face in your beautiful ass
Girl: You're adorable. How soon can we meet?

Then yes, he is cheating.

Brother: I'm really cold.
Girl: Me too
Girl: I'm wearing close to nothing. I'm freezing.

Then no. But if:

Brother: What are you wearing, you dirty little fucking skank
Girl: I'm wearing close to nothing. I'm freezing.

Then yes, maybe suspect.

And I wouldn't stick up for my bro if he was cheating. People have a right to know.

Hahaha. I needed a laugh. Thank you.

Bingo. This is what I'm saying, I don't know the context and neither does she. She said those were the only two texts she saw. I guess they were coming in as she was snooping or whatever.

And you're right. She does have the right to know if he's cheating, but should I be the messenger?

I'm generally an empathetic person person even if I don't act like it but when you actually look at the situation rather than going "Boo hoo that poor victim" I find it very hard. For one thing as people have already spammed in the comments of this article he got a 15 year old girl pregnant so he isn't exactly the shining beacon of intelligence and responsibility. For those internationally especially in America this is the kind of shit we have to put up with in the UK on a regular basis and the amazing thing is throughout all of it they manage to act completely indignant about the problems they have and blame everybody else so if you think we're being mean it's because we've seen it so many times we're wondering why the hell people don't learn.

Hey, don't get me wrong. The kid was dumb to fall for it, but the seller's just taking advantage of people's oversight and stupidity and tried taking his money in the process. He has a kid. He's a kid himself. It's just so shitty that ethical behavior is just a footnote nowadays.
