1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which do you think is the biggest problem in the crypto market? on: June 22, 2018, 11:29:29 AM
I think the major problem right now in cryptocurrency is the increasing number of fake projects and people just trying to scam the investors. I have been following menlo.one lately and they plan to tackle this problem by creating a community where incentives is given to valuable contents on each ICO on their platform.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's next good ICO? on: June 22, 2018, 11:24:36 AM
Have anyone here heard about menlo.one? I had been reading a lot of comments about this ICO, I have researched about it and their concept is very good and on-point. What do you guys think about their project?
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / An ICO that can scale the tokens economy? on: June 14, 2018, 09:25:44 AM
Hello guys, as the title says can an ICO solve this? Is it possible? www.menlo.one is saying that their framework is designed to scale the said economy in a safely manner. I'm just wondering if its even possible to do.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Know if Token will be strong in Long-term? on: April 06, 2018, 06:32:35 AM
All of the comments were true, the team, the product they sell, etc. Also bear in mind any successful ICO needs a support that is huge enough to carry with them until they hit exchange.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: hilariousandco, Mitchell,Vod,Ognasty Bitblisscoin.com could be a scamsite on: April 06, 2018, 06:09:24 AM
As with most threads, this one too is turning into a mud sling fest between two famous members.

We should avoid
this, also the main question is why DT members are ignoring these shady dealings of a certain individual but tag others for much inconspicuous things.

It brings to fore the Urdu adage Hammam main sab nange hain or its English equivalent, All cats are grey in the dark.

P.S. Waiting for a few self righteous racist individuals to call me Pajeet, Paki and a 3rd world monkey.  Roll Eyes

Follow this thread and you'll see more drama about this.

I find it more interesting following these threads on meta, reputation, and scam accusation than seeing the complains of the bloody market in bitcoin discussion board.  Cheesy
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin low on: February 09, 2018, 01:06:24 PM

7  Economy / Economics / Re: European Banks Could Soon Hold Bitcoin, Admits ECB President on: February 08, 2018, 01:08:31 PM
Its indeed a good news to the crypto world. But the question is, can it affect the current state of Bitcoin? for long term, I guess yes. But for short term it will not, this news will just pass by.
8  Other / Meta / Re: Does admins respond ? on: January 28, 2018, 10:29:12 AM
You should be posting in Meta sub-forum to be able to find staffs that could help you with your problem. Or you can approach any staff and Mods here directly via PM. Here's the link for the Meta section. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0
9  Economy / Economics / Re: MtGox vs CoinCheck on: January 27, 2018, 06:36:57 AM
I have read the the total effect of this is very little compared to Mt Gox. About .25% of the total market cap. Although the price is higher than the Mt Gox the effects of it is lesser.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is useless on: January 23, 2018, 02:12:16 PM
it's a a financial experiment, with many disadvantages.
the question can it be fixed?

I guess not unless some improvements will be implemented. As others suggest, a lightning network could solve these problems but the problem is acceptance and massive implementation. I give credits to the Dev's because its not easy to this kind of improvement.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: January 18, 2018, 11:47:47 AM
Yeah I think it is. Its the panic time for those weak hands and new investors hoping for a one time big time investment. But for those who have researched well in this business it is normal.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Free bitcoin for starters! on: January 17, 2018, 02:49:40 PM
This is what the most scammers do. It is their old yet effective move. LOL I am sure some of the newbies will fall on this kinds of tricks. Hoping to get free in a world of crypto is almost impossible.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 15, 2018, 01:05:24 PM
For example in my country, even they donīt want to ban it, they want to tax it. No, not the profits made when exchanging to fiat. The crypto holdings itself....
Do you mean as long as you hold crypto, you have to pay tax, though if you lose money from crypto trading?
I am curious. Which county are you from?

I don't think its possible, unless you surrender your information to the authorities. They cannot what you have and how much you have unless you give them information, its how cryptocurrency works.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 13, 2018, 02:13:32 PM
They cannot actually ban bitcoin. Rather they can ban the portals to access bitcoin, like crypto exchange sites. Also banning the users from accessing bitcoin.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum just crossed $1000 milestone on: January 12, 2018, 02:47:45 PM
It already reached that level the next target would be bitcoin I guess. Even though bitcoin is very far to make. haha People are now diverting their attention from bitcoin.

Quote
I n my own observation ICO and bitcoin are playing different rule in the crypto currency world. While Bitcoin is mainly for trading were traders and investors are crazy holding and dumping with thier coins ICO is also promting thier coins to the investors and good things about ICO is having or promoting functional product in which developing a services and product which usefull to the community like for instance green project for the environment. While investing you are also supporting functional product.

I would agree to you on that. But there are lots of fake ICO's project. The no. of these fake ICO's overwhelmed the projects that have good intentions that is why people are starting not to trust new ICO project.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: January 10, 2018, 08:41:30 AM
I guest you must made a spesific statement what altcoin do you mean ?
so i give my opinion for the altcoin will survive. I just say only best and original technology of cryptocurrency will survive.
many option of altcoin, but I still choose Ethereum. this coin will always standing behind Bitcoin.
Their Protocol ERC-20 still become a favorite for many newcomers. So the conclusion are Ethereum.

Yes, I also think so. If there is a coin that will likely to survive with bitcoin then it is ETH, because of its smart contract, new ICO's use ETH for their startup and its a popular option.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: January 09, 2018, 08:23:39 AM
Depending on the team of an Altcoin they may survive. As long as there are still communities who believe on altcoins there's is a big possibility that it will grow with bitcoin.
