yup I pretty much agree with most of the original post... Ive used Cryptopia or as I call it Craptopia now, quite a bit. Was a reasonable exchange but after delays in with withdrawals & slow support I now avoid. I use a few other exchanges, Kucoin is probably my favourite.

ETH is such a great coin with lots of utility, I see it as seriously undervalued at the moment. With the current dip Ive loaded up a number of times. I see it tracking along with the BTC price - you can only speculate on future prices however I would guess between 3&4k by the end of 2018... happy to be proved wrong by a much larger valutation though all depends on CRYPTO adoption moving

Where exactly have these rumours come from !?! sounds like pure FUD to me. ETH has so many uses, it has great utility, its not going anywhere. Its price is obvioulsy linked in with BTC & for ETH to fall that low your looking at BTC having to drop 50% also.. I dont think it will happen, but anything is possible I suppose. I think we are in a stgnation period that should lift in April after US taxes have been paid... lets see !

Man this is an interesting read, going back to the first post when there is no bubble & comments suggesting there wont be a correction - then the realisation that oh yes there sure as hell is a correction going on.... but that is all it is.
People invest to make money, if there is a huge increase in price over the space of a month or two of course people are going to sell, history, economics, human nature dictates that. Lets just ride it out, this is still early in Crypto land & adoption is still miniscule compared to where it will be in a few years. Fascinated to see how the story develops 

If you have a bitcoin to use for pre-sales / ICO, I would suggest spreading your risk rather than choosing just one investment. My current picks are

Bankara, Hero, Farmatrust, Thrive, Acorn & Omnitude.

Depends how far in the future you are thinking, there will be plenty of coins / tokens that will see huge price rises over the next year or more; but will fall by the wayside due to the natural sifting of the market system. Whatever you invest in you have to do your due diligence; which has already been explained by numerous contributors to this conversation. But only time will tell... the market is flooded not even every valid / positive / good business model will survive. This place is only just warming up.

Never ever trust a politician - however to not listen & keep track of developments in the political sphere would be like shooting yourself in the foot. Like it or not as crypto becomes more main stream governments are increasingly getting involved. There is no choice but to work in and around the developments as they occur. Crypto has been living on borrowed time in terms of regulation, which is why my portfolio includes a number of privacy coins ( Deep Onion being the number 1).

M favourite & probably most secure is Bitpanda - crazy KYC process where you not only have to submit your documents for verification but also take part in a live video feed with an associate - in my case a beautiful Austrian blond lady !!

Green shoots dont make a come back however encouraging, BTC is a long term play IMHO. The usual NY dip should gradually alleviate over the next few weeks. Lets all hope so anyway !!

Korea is such a massive market, it was never going to be banned out right. Having said that Im pretty sure that they will attempt to regulate it - the writing is on the wall. Good thing / Bad thing... depends on your point of view but individual countries taking a regulated stance is going to effect the market one way or another.

Yup, been using it for quite a while - easy to use reasonable secure & good reviews.

The best part of MEW is that you can use it as a platform to view ERC20 coins that are not supported on the Ledger Nano S. Therefore store your private keys on cold storage Nano & view them via the Nano link on teh MEW front screen.

Quite a nifty bit of kit when combined...

Both are good coins & provide utility, personally I prefer ETH & this is a staple in my portfolio. I have numerous ERC20 coins using the ETH network & they are secured in my Ledger Nano utilising the MEW app as well.
