But they will apply some sanctions ... However, now that the value has fallen, how will investors in South Korea recover all that they have lost? Somehow they will be the first to limit themselves to the idea of investing in btc

According to Reuters, South Korea’s finance minister has stated that the government has no plans to shut down cryptocurrency exchanges or ban cryptocurrency trading.
This is good news, as some earlier news about South Korean bans was one of the events that caused the current crypto correction.
I think this is a good news because some panic dudes will be active again in investment. However, some people are not happy because it is an avenue to buy cheap coins.

That's why we need to do more research before we made decisions, I heard that the recent drops were due to another banning from India which later on found that they just want to warn their people about being extra careful on joining cryptos, I doubt when will people especially panic holders learn.

great news , it only means that many countries are looking forward to the used of bitcoin in their community , they are saying that they are not banning it, the quote by the government that they will ban bitcoin is just for improvement and sees the potential of bitcoin,

South Korea never intended to ban crypto.
All news were fake and even South Korea said it was FUD.
They want to regulate crypto-exchanges and that is something different from ban. Market manipulators use fake news to cause price to drop so they can buy cheap altcoins. After people realize news were fake, they will stop selling and start buying and when time is right manipulators will sell their coins, make profit and start again with FUD. Oldest story.

In my opinion, korean actually never wants to banned crypto currency, it's just that, they tighten and supervise crypto, they also apply the rules about crypto. They just want to control the circulation of crypto currency

As expected, they will not ban it like China. They just want to regulate it to avoid using it in illegal activities. It will create pressure in the leadership if they ban it because many South Korean citizen are already in the train of cryptocurrency and it is hard to change it specially if many legit business is already in it.

In fact, Korea was not going to ban the circulation of the crypt currency. All governments of different countries agree with one opinion. They do not want to allow the circulation of the crypt currency in real life when buying real goods. Because they are afraid to get an alternative to the national currency, which can lead to inflation in the country. And secondly, if the price of the crypto currency falls sharply, the sellers of goods may remain bankrupt. They can not wait long for the hight cost of coins. They have to pay checks every day.

they would not ban cryptocurrencies they just want to prevent illegal activities and to put tax on some local exchange sites. cryptocurrencies can help the economic of their country and many of their people support it. their people would be disappointed if they ban crypto.

They had to explain it to everybody clearly, and they made some vague statements. Thus everybody thought cryptos would be banned. The same happened recently in India. Now Indian authorities say they meant ban of criminal activities connected with virtual currency.

Of course it's pleasure to hear that. Perhaps whales are going to stabilize the market to get in soon... 7k for BTC is pretty good level to get in as I think. I have many orders below $6k.

Banning is completely different from regulation an prevention.  When news of Korean authorities getting concerned with crypto activities circulated in the net,  the price of bitcoin go down and it clearly  shows how many people thought that there will be a country banning bitcoin again.  This proves how people can be so easy to manipulate and I think that because bitcoin value cannot be controlled  they are  trying  to control the decisions of the people.  It certainly works and affected the market price in any way.

BIG WINNER!

SK's main concerns regarding crypto would fall into the following 1)  Gov't getting a cut and 2)  NK.  Ban would most likely be on the table if gov't doesn't get their cut.

I don't think they were ever news for ban crypto in Korea.

They were some announcement that the issue of regulating will be considered and have talks about it.

Well this become fake news and was everywhere just to create panic. Regulating was changed with ban and so on...

Korea is such a massive market, it was never going to be banned out right. Having said that Im pretty sure that they will attempt to regulate it - the writing is on the wall. Good thing / Bad thing... depends on your point of view but individual countries taking a regulated stance is going to effect the market one way or another.
