My username is belleck@... I've also emailed from (gmailaddr) Ragnarohlsson.
I login with my username and password and try do initiate a payout to my wallet (note: the wallet is the SAME wallet I used when I registered the account back in 2011 and it is the SAME wallet I've previously done payout to).
The payout page says I need to check my email for confirmation. But.. my email hosting provider has SHUT DOWN, that is COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL.
Help your customer, fix the email confirmation. You dont have to change the email since I know you cant. Problem solved. Please note that I recommend disabling autopayment in your case because it will only send 1.60 BTC, leaving 0.00661881 there. Instead you can request a manual payment, copying the entire amount to the request form this evening, when hot wallet will be refilled. THANK YOU!! You can keep the 0.00661881 BTC as a tip.  It took some time but I did get support, thats the spirit deepbit! |

@deepbit (and people considering using deepbit).
My email hosting provider has shutdown (something COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL), and because of that I cannot get access to my 1.6 BTC.
In 2013-09-05 I emailed because I could not receive rewards, but NOTHING has happened.

We come to an agreement two weeks ago, but then nothing happens.. No contact. PM me your e-mail address please (not the account name, but actual working e-mail so I can find that thread). Okay, I've sent you the email address with the subject "PM me your e-mail address please". You could also probably search for the site username in your gmail, you can find the mailconvos I've started that way too. Its great getting a response. Now lets fix the problem please Hah, I should have known not to get my hopes up. Bitcoin == Wild West. In the emails you said: "So you have the key for the address that is currently configured on your account ? Then what stops you from requesting the payment on the site ?" And I posted a screenshot of the site, the button was not visible. And you said: "Oh, I see what's the problem now. The button is hidden because address field is empty." So we figure out the problem and I set the address field (to the _original_ address), but the first problem was I could not access that mailbox anymore (no confirmation email!).. So catch 22, back to the same problem. If it was reading the large amount of emails(30+) I have sent that was daunting, perhaps the above summation will be useful. Still no answer.. Please just set the address back to what it was when I registered. Thats all you have to do. Right now it is waiting for confirmation (but I cannot receive that email). I do not want to change the address to something new, I just want it to be set to the bitcoin address I used when I registered. You cannot possibly have a valid reason to not do this. You already have my account info but here it is again, my username on the site starts with belleck.. and my gmail is ragnarohlsson@gmail.com. Search your gmail for either of those account names and you will find the conversation we had: "Cannot receive payment (registered with non-existent email)" The last thing you said was: "Oh, I see what's the problem now. The button is hidden because address field is empty." In November 19. One. Month. Ago. I am NOT asking you to set the address of my account to something new. I am asking you to set it to the old address that was used when the account was registered because I looked for the old wallet.dat file and found it. I've tried keeping a civil tone and everything. This is ridiculous.. |

I still have not gotten my 1.6BTC out of deepbits wallets.
It is 1600 USD right now.. It is not exactly pocket-change!
I feel cheated, this is ridiculous.
Does anyone know of a way to talk to deepbit staff in real time? gtalk, skype, landline phone? anything?

I have been in contact for weeks but still I have not received my 1.6 BTC payout.

Okay, but I cannot set it.
I want to have my old address back as the payment address, but I cannot receive emails to the account I registered with anymore.
The old address is what I did payout with a long time ago (30.03.2011), I recently found the wallet for it.
Are the mails I've sent being marked as spam or something?
It seems like tycho is a good guy as other people have gotten help, I just want my btc before the price drops... thats all.
If the mail conversation "Cannot receive payment (registered with non-existent email)" is not visible, please look in the spam folder (last email was just a couple seconds ago).

Tycho and I emailed back and forth until he finally realized that he had to manually set my address to the original one due to issues with my e-mail.
I could not get the confirmation emails and he basically said: ok, I see now. The address is not set.
But of course if I set it: deepbit sends a confirmation email and I cannot receive that email so again the address cannot be set and no bitcoins sent to my wallet!
It is pretty crazy.
I've sent emails for weeks while staring at the charts watching bitcoin climb and climb (and fall a bit).
Can't believe I cannot get my bitcoins out to take part in the market.
It is most annoying because he said he understood the problem but still has not solved it!
