1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: March 23, 2015, 06:33:12 PM
Anyone know what the deal is with Minersource?

I am still  missing 2 BA X1 Miners from them.

Their site is down.

I know BA is saying Minersource never paid them and actualy screwed BA over by convincing a Customer Service Employee to send them hardware.

Is there a class action lawsuit against them?

Is there a new thread?

I am a little lost now on what to do? Lucky I paid for the 2nd order with Cash so I would get cash back vs the first order I payed with BTC witch I received.

What should I do?

Humm so Minersource.net has been down for weeks but they took it down themselves. https://oldstore.minersource.net/ still works from their old site.

Hummm Minersource site has been down for a while now, and they use Shopify so it is not like they are server issues.
Unless Shopify themselves are having issues but I doubt they would allow the site to be down that long.

Package is now 5 miles from my place at a FedEx sorting centre.
Due to BlackArrow choosing economy shipment, FedEx will keep it there till January 7th before delivering...

Update today:
Picked up in Shenzhen
At Fedex location Guangzhou
Weight 59 lbs, 27 kg

Some movement. Yesterday I got an email to confirm my shipment details, which I did.
Today I got an email with invoice and t&t.
The Fedex t&t is correct, current status is "shipment label created".

What did your Order the X-3? or multiple X-1s?

If multiple X-1 let us know if they are 1.5 or regular 1. I think they stoped production of regular 1's and replaced all orders to 1.5.
So if you are getting X-1's that is great that means they finely finished the 1.5's and can mass produce them and start shipping again.

ETA on Minersource orders?

Just curious on what order numbers/paid date are being delivered from Minersource?

I am orders:
X1 #1197/#1197A Paid Dec 13 2013
X1 #2411/#2411A Paid April 29 2014 (Batch 1 Order)
PSU #2780 Paid May 11th

Just curious what number they are up to in shipping.

If you have received your X1 recently could you post your order number so I can get an estimate of when mine might arrive?

if you look back a few pages you will see Atomar received his X-1 form MS 2 weeks ago and has sold it,he paid on Dec/13/13,I and others have paid well befor that and have nothing.
I paid on Dec/03/13 and have been told 3 times my x-1 will ship next but I have nothing yet.

I was wrong I ordered on Dec 14 not 13.

Did you order more at a latter time?
I wonder if maybe since I ordered my 2nd one in april they will be shipped together. Ideally all 3 with the extra PSU.

We will probably end up trying a watercooled system using PC parts due to the socket size... should at least look cool!

Are there are quad head water coolers out there? That might be interesting.

Would go with 4 individual blocks, linked 2x2 is seriers to 2x 240 Rads.

Blocks: 4x http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16395/ex-blc-1153/Alphacool_NexXxos_XP_Light_CPU_Liquid_Cooling_Block_-_Acetal_Edition_-_Intel_AMD_12153.html?tl=g30c325s1118

Pump: 2x http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9898/ex-pmp-92/Bitspower_Mini_Water_Tank_Plus_DDC_Pump_Attachement_Reservoir_w_Filter_-_Acetal_Cap_BP-DDCT2-CL.html?tl=g30c107s152

Rads: 2x http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14327/ex-rad-315/XSPC_EX240_Dual_120mm_Low_Profile_Split_Fin_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s160

I know its expensive and highly impractical.. dont care.
Plus you can pay in BTC

But it is all reusable!!!

I run a 3 Litter water cooling system with 2x180 + 1x180 + 2.5L passive radiator running on a Garden fountain pump. And you can just put that stuff on future computer equipment or future mining equipment if you can manage to make it fit. So at most all you loose is your water blocks rest can all way's be reused.

Minersource purchased on "any day" in January 2014. So, what about other BA customers, who purchased and paid back in 2013?

I purchased from Minersource December 14th 2013 and my order# is 1197, and it looks like there are many people here who ordered from Minersource and have lower order numbers than me.

I was going to purchase 2 from Minersource back in November? back when BTC was at $1100 then it droped down to 500 and back up to 800 so I purchased mine when the BTC went back up to $800.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 26, 2014, 05:19:12 PM
I'd like an answer from BA: When do you plan to ship all X1 orders that were placed with you prior to Minersource placing orders?

One thing to remember is that BA order numbers are not relevant to Miner Source Order number.

MS order numbers are for any items. So a person who has order #1238 for an X1 that might be order #14 for BA.
So if your order is #125 MS might have 100 of the previous orders using order number #750, 830, 950, 1250 etc...

Also MS might have ordered 200 right away to resell and have 200 orders under order BA order #5.

So someone who ordered 3 month latter from MS might get there product first because MS did a mass order when the product came out.

I Doubt that for each order through MS is transferred to BA. MS does mass purchases then resells them.

Well I am sorry you consider it trolling.

This is actually my 7th Post in this thread the first 4 talked about my orders and questions about the miner.

As for MinePeon I meant the MinePeon Forum http://minepeon.com/forums/ I have spent a lot of time helping people out there with hardware problems.

I am sorry if I offended anyone. I did not mean to offend people, I did not mean to start arguments, I just thought it would be nice to have a more positive thread.

I am done with this conversation please do not reply about this it is pointless I do not want to argue.
I am sorry I said anything.

Have a good day  Smiley

I am not from BA at all. I know no one from BA.
I have been a member since November 2013, Look at my previous posts a lot are not related to this.
Or go to the MinePeon thread I have many post there.
I ordered 2 X-1's from Miner Source and the extra PSU, I have even sent emails to Minersource asking questions about products.

But being accused about being a fake BA account is exactly what I am talking about.
All this anger going on in this thread is ridiculous.
I pre-ordered my first X-1 back in December and hoping to get it in February. I too am disappointed in the delay.
But fighting on these forums will do no good, all it will do is cause anger and make fights.

So This is my last post about this as I do not want to start a fight a pointless meaningless fight about me being a BS Spy.

Even if it was a post from BA what did I say that was harmful? Nothing I just said there is pointless arguing over nothing. Think of all the wasted time typed in this forum. Go on and live life, enjoy it do not keep anger in and keep on posting. Go outside take a walk enjoy life! The weather is finely nice (I live in MN)
END.

Cant we all just get along?

Yes it sucks that there are lots of delays,
Why do we have multiple pages per day of people complaining.
Nothing much can happen in 1 day. Maybe every 2 weeks have a talk about it.

I feel sorry for BobSagg3 and others from Minersource and BlackArrow having to waist their time reading all these threads of unhappy people.

There is nothing we can do it is out of our hands, let's just wait for them to arrive or if you are really unhappy then try for a refund. But fighting in forums does nothing good.

They are doing the best they can! and sending them X-1's out now and they got the X-3's working.
As for compensation, yea it sucks, Yea everyone wants this and that.
But they are already giving us a pretty good compensation and remember this is a small company that is trying to sell their product they are not made of gold and can give us all 5 times what we purchased.

This sucks as much for them as for us.

Shit happens.

Let's relax and await for our product and talk positively.

I can not wait to receive my 3 X-1's they are replacing my old blades that I just stoped using due to their efficiency and heat during the summer. They were awesome for the Winter I have my server room under the stairs with a vent i put n on the landing and it heated my house during the winter lol. Heck I might use them again next winter for heat not much less efficient than a heater + mining.

Thanks

Ash

How locked is the Rpi on the BA X-1? Can CGminer still be modified to be a pool for other miners on the network?
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 09, 2014, 10:02:04 PM
Bobsag3 what purpose does the usb port serve ?

Wifi, Firmware Upgrades etc... USB is pretty much standard on every board out there now days, might as well put them on for future use. Who knows they might release a future miners that are USB only and can be ran off of the X1.

Anyone know if Touch screen will be available for upgrade in the future if you receive a Rpi version?
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 09, 2014, 09:51:26 PM
At current clock, 143w. Fan uses ~7.5W, Rpi uses ~7.5w, so ~128 for the actual miner, not bad. Power consumption will be significantly better on the controller models, as the pis are not configured to change voltage, as well as beta software.

Humm Rpi should only use ~2.5W? But I guess you may loose some from the AC/DC conversion.
What power supply was provided for the Rpi? Just a Micro USB charger? or are you powering off of the USB from the Miner itself?

Order #576
    Status: Complete
    Date: 08 Nov 2013, 16:05
    Payment method: Bank Transfer
    Shipping method: DHL

I'm not sure where I stood in the queue, although I am fairly certain that I ordered quite early and paid ASAP. (I have a fuzzy memory of reading somewhere that payment arrival date might matter.)

(Disclaimer: I also let customer support know, just in case it might matter, that nothing else was relevant to me -- case or no case, Pi or no Pi, LCD or no LCD, GUI or no GUI, PSU or no PSU... just as long as it would hash at anything near the stated rate, I would accept it. I cannot say if my "anything that hashes" request influenced anything from a shipment perspective.)

I will report back as soon as I receive notice from DHL, and of course as soon as I get the shipment cleared in customs and the hardware out of the box. Could take a while, still.

Well if he/she is order #576
I ordered my first one on 12/14/2013 and that order is #1197
Then ordered a 2nd one on 04/29/2014 to get the 3rd free one Order #2411
3rd PSU on 05/11/2014 Order #2789

So from Nov 08 to Dec 14 they had ~621 orders counting cancellation etc...
Then from Dec 14 to April 29 they had ~1214
and April 29 - May 11 ~378

But this is all orders not just Black Arrow Miners.

So there are a lot of Orders from Nov 08 to Dec 14 ~621 in 5 weeks.

So if anyone else gets a shipment it would be cool to tell us your order number so we have an Idea of approximately when we are next.
17  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Electric heaters on: December 03, 2013, 04:28:54 PM
Unless I am missing something but according to the Black Arrow Website the Black Arrow Prospero X-3 cost ~0.5w per Gh/s and provides ~2000Gh/s so a total of ~1000w. But with the added hardware: Controler, LCD screen, Ethernet etc... they claim 1050Watts
18  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blade heeeeeeeelp please! on: November 27, 2013, 05:53:03 PM
Can you ping it?

Windows key+ R, cmd, enter

ping 192.168.1.24 and see if you get anything
ping 192.168.0.24 in case the change took place or a misstype.
Then try to ping 192.168.1.254 (See if it reset)

If you get no response from any of those I would use an IP scanner and see if it finds it somewhere.
19  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blade heeeeeeeelp please! on: November 27, 2013, 05:34:58 PM
Have you tried to go back on your main computer to the 192.168.1.x subnet and put the ip you set aka you wanted 192.168.0.40 but you put 192.168.1.40?

If you do not where it i you can use an IP scanner and put range 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255 see if it shows up then try 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255 and see if you get any response form any of the IP's.
You can do this from any ip on your computer so no need to change your ip to do the scan.
Here is one of 1000's of different IP scanners:http://sourceforge.net/projects/ipscan/?source=directory

I am unable to remember the name of the one I use on my laptop but if that one does not work I can find out the name and link of the one I use that works well.
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blade heeeeeeeelp please! on: November 26, 2013, 09:33:13 PM
That PSU of yours is only 350 Watts

and it looks like it may have 2 rails one that is 10A (120w) and the other that is 13A (156w)
The blade uses ~75-100 Watts so if it is hocked up to the 10A rail the 120w might not be enought to power the blade.
