1  Other / Meta / Re: We need to change our mindset on: May 23, 2018, 03:12:11 PM
After watching a lot of threads, I think we specially the newbies should have clear idea about bitcointalk.org, that's why I'm trying to pointing out those which may change your mindset and help you to be an asset of the forum.

A common issue on the forum is "merit and rank up".

Most of us are too disappointed with the new merit system because it seems too hard (though it is not hard enough)
An example- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4104852.0

So, what is bitcointalk?
It is a forum, we all know. And what it means actually?
Quote
a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

It's a place where we can share our ideas. We can have discussion on some specific subject.
So, being a member of bitcointalk indicates that you have joined here for having some knowledge about cryptocurrency.
Are we really doing that? Most of us are here for having a "Passive Income"

I was new here on bitcointalk in december 2017 after a friend told me to register. All was going well I was reading a lot in this forum and I had my activity points and was a Junior member. I earned 5$ a week because of my signature but I think in January they begun with this merit system and suddenly my account could not get no upgrade anymore. But if this is not worse enough there are "scam hunters" they accused me with cheating, trading merits, alt account and posting only shit.
They screwed me because these people are working together and accusing other people with scam but they do the most biggest scams on this forum. Because they are trading crossly merits with each other they have much power and much merits, the only thing they want to do is not to share the money they can earn.
Now I am only once in a month maybe on this forum because I do not like this kind of shit, and accuses, it is really sad and I  hope this forum will not lose all his popularity because of this kind of people who think they are smart because they have the power and earned much easy points before and now are trading themself with merits

It is an example only, there are a lot of threads related to it.
You are joining a forum for earning only? Make sense? You don't actually deserve a place here on the forum.

We need to change our mindset, we should take bitcointalk as a place of gathering knowledge, sharing your views, not a place of earning only.

Thanks

People's first motive why they join bitcoin is to earn money.  They don't came here to learn.  Let's face it.  But as they go along the way, they began to learn more and they acquire knowledge pertaining to bitcoin.  They also learn how to improve their english skills as it is needed here.  They keep on exploring and studying about bitcoin so they can relate it to the forum.  With regards to changing mindset,  it is their choice.  They have their own perspective and priority.  For me, it goes together.  You learn at the same time you earn.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Forum moderators deleting posts they don't like? on: May 22, 2018, 07:09:33 AM
Hi guys,

it's is very weird, but this is the second time one of my posts got deleted. Both were related to a religious discussion.
My posts didnt offend anyone, we not racist or sexist or something like that at all.
They responded to a previous post, they related to the actual topic of the thread.

What both posts had in common: both were contained critical thoughs about christianity (not offensive!).

When my first post was deleted I had the strange feeling that it just got deleted, because the moderator didn't like my opinion. And this time it's the same.

How come, that a post basically being the same as mine but with an opposite opinion doesn't get deleted, but mine is. Even though it should be fine - at least how  I see it compared to the forum rules.

Are the moderators here are all hardcore-pro-christians and biased in a way?

I'm just curious, if anyone feels offended, I'm sorry.

So sad. I have the same experience as yours.  Before my posts were more on Christianity.  When I check, all my posts were deleted with being notified.  They said the moderators belongs to other religion and belief.  They dont agree with our opinion maybe the reason why they deleted it.  Maybe in some way it contrast with their belief.  We are in a forum.  All opinion should be allowed as long as it does not offend them.  Im into bounty campaign, and it affects my performance.  How can I get paid when my posts are deleted?
3  Other / Meta / Re: multiple accounts on: May 22, 2018, 06:53:06 AM
I want to know that multiple accounts are allowed in this forum or not? I mean can I use one account for some campaign and another for some others?
is it legal on this forum or not?
thank in advance

People with multiple accounts do not ask permission.  They just created it without consent.  People has more chance of earning if they have more than one account so that they can join all the campaigns available.  If you will stick to one account, you have to finish the first campaign you have join before you can join with other bounty campaign and that takes time since campaign lasts for a couple of months.

6. Privacy - Dapat very limited lang ang nakakaalam ng ginagamit mong crypto wallet at hindi dapat yon basta basta binabanggit sa social media or sa iba pang online sites.

5  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 10, 2018, 09:25:11 AM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?

I have same feelings with you but think about it first. Establish your job and earnngs first in crypto before quitting your job. You can do both,  just manage your time. If you are already earning twice or thrice  your salary,  maybe it is about time to give up your job and focus on bitcoin. You can earn more now since you will do it full time. To increase your profit,   invest your earnings in business.
6  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Signature Campaign | Paano kumita sa Sign. Campaign? on: May 04, 2018, 05:01:03 AM

Keep it up kabayan. Hope to see more of your informative  post.
7  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: May 04, 2018, 12:41:39 AM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

People now adays are getting hype when they learn from others that you can get rich easily with bitcoin with less effort. I suggest for the beginners not to be too overwhelm and impulsive when it comes to investing in cryptoworld. You need a deep knowledge about the ins and outs, pros and cons of engaging into bitcoin. You need to explore,  study and do some readings and research. Ask the experts or the veterans here. They can give you advise and tips on how to earn without investing money.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: April 30, 2018, 08:01:36 AM
Well I just want to share some information regarding on how to start a business because as we can see, we are all want to have a stable business and we want to be a very good entrepreneur someday because if we're just working and working to earn money then if we can't work anymore we won't be able to sustain our needs anymore. I think this is worth reading especially those who are planning to build an ICO or a project. I've got this from my professor on college :

NOTE-REFERENCES :  Webster’s College Dictionary (Random House/McGraw Hill)
What is an Entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur: A person who organizes and manages an enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
Initiative: Readiness and ability in initiating action.
Risk: The hazard or chance of loss.

NOTE-REFERENCES : The Portable MBA in Entrepreneurship, 2nd Ed.; William D. Bygrave, Editor. John Wiley and Sons Publishers, 1997.
What Does it Take to Be Successful?
  • “In entrepreneurship, luck is where preparation and opportunity meet.”
  • “The idea is not what is important. In entrepreneurship; ideas are a dime a dozen. Developing the idea, implementing it, and building a successful business are the important things.”
  • “Would-be entrepreneurs who are unable to name customers are not ready to start a business. They have only found an idea and have not yet identified a market need.”
  • Somehow, someday… you are going to have to earn POSITIVE CASH FLOW. You need more than a revenue model (but you do need that). You need a VALUE model.
  • Market share is great, but you can’t pay bills with it.
  • You can do some financially stupid things to build market share.
Where Do You Start?
Think about WHO is going to want your product/service, what they will PAY for it, what you will NEED to carry it off, and how you will MAKE MONEY someday. That is, make a PLAN.

Success depends on
positive cash flow, growth,
 and value creation.

Owners and investors who forget that tend to get “naturally deselected.”

The Importance of Value Creation

  • A successful business is one that delivers value to its customers and creates value for its owners.

Value is delivered to your customers when you do something for them
Better
Cheaper
Faster
Cooler
Different

However, it is likely that none of these will work for long, so continuous improvement and innovation are essential.

Value is created for the owners when:
-You do more with their money than they could do with it themselves
-You invest in productive activities that earn rates of return greater than their risk-adjusted costs of capital.
-The present value of future cash flows exceeds the startup costs.

Value is created by:
-Exploiting proprietary physical resources
-Possessing proprietary knowledge or expertise
-Creating a new or improved product, process, or service
-Staying ahead of the competition through constant improvement and innovation

Planning for Success

-Don’t plan a business for today – Plan it for at least a year from now.
-Moore’s Law: Computing power will roughly double every 18 months.
-Bandwidth will continue to increase for most users almost ad infinitum.
-People will live longer and maintain active lifestyles far after retirement.
-Energy sources and consumption patterns will change drastically.
-The world will continue to be a very dangerous place.

How To Not Get Funded

-Have a half-baked idea
-Have a meatless business plan
-Can’t articulate your value proposition
-Can’t identify your market potential
-Can’t justify your sales projections
-Can’t show your investors an exit
-Can’t show your investors a reasonable expectation of a reasonable return on investment
-Don’t think about risk
-Take no risk yourself
-Don’t take time to do your homework
-Try to fund a “lifestyle” venture

Funding Your Venture

-The hardest funding to raise is the first funding. You are probably on your own.
-Later funding gets progressively easier depending on the results you can show to investors and what you need to fund.
-BANKS are probably not going to help.
-The best funding is INTERNAL funding (reinvested earnings).
-PRIVATE EQUITY is the current buzzword for the major capital source for business ventures.
Closing thoughts

Starting your business is very risky. Anyone who plans to put up a business should be ready to face any problems that will arise in his business. Do you have enough capital that will cover up even the losses in your business. Know your passion and choose the business thay is in demand nowadays. Choose the right place or location,  right timing and people who will be your partner and trusted person. It would be better if you are hands on and you manage your business personally so that whatever happen to your business,  you wont blame anyone.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: April 28, 2018, 08:49:42 AM
I dont know if it is just me or others also experience it. I always set goals financially, set limits in spending and trying hard to save but most of the time no matter how i tell myself to refrain from spending in unnecessary things whenever i see something i really like even if i dont need it i cant resist buying it that cause me to regret later. Are you familiar with this situation?

What happen if you cant resist spending on unneccesary things. Your budget will be disalign or not enough to sustain your daily needs. If you dont have enough savings,  you will resort to borrowing money. If you want to stop it,  dont bring extra money when going out just enough for your daily needs. Cut your credit cards. Dont go out or go to the mall if not needed. Discipline yourself.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: until when will the bounty program remain? on: April 27, 2018, 11:49:43 AM
Over the years there have been a lot of crypto-based-based projects where the business owners offer shares in the form of coins they produce with different kinds of promotions including bounty programs, until when will the gift program remain?

I dont think bounty campaign will be remove. As long as both parties are gaining and benefiting from it,  it will remain forever. As long as bitcoin is existing,  bounty campaign will also be  existing. We just need to take bounty campaign seriously. We help the advertisers to gain  clients and they are earning because of us. As a token,  they pay us in return.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: FINANCIAL TIPS on: April 26, 2018, 10:13:50 AM
I dont know if this where the right place to post but here it is. This is most applicable for those minimum wage earner who struggles in life and wanted to invest too.

* DONT SPEND BEYOND WHAT YOU EARN.

This is particular to those credit card addicts where swipping it is their life. They spend most of their needs on cards, groceries, gadgets installment etc. They spend beyond their limits and usually paying excess charges because of this. They often didnt get through this swipe pay cycle because of their limited fund capacity.

* SAVE FIRST BEFORE SPENDING

I think this is the hardest part of the financial budget if you are earning just right for paying your monthly bill and daily necessities. But what will you have to do ? . You dont need that high portion of savings everytime. For example , you have $50 on your hand in excess of your expenses, budget it for a week in a very cheap way , groceries would be better, then save what is remained. Take aside your weekly starbucks and put it on your bank. You can take coffe at home or on a cheap way. Small amounts will get big in a time and you can start investing after. You can always reward yourself after if you start investing and earned passively.

* SET SOME GOALS

This is the most effective way ive done so far. Being comitted on your goal is almost 100% sure. If you are setting a goal for example this year where you have to save $5 weekly and you will save $260 in the end of the year, if you always looking for the outcome, im sure you will do this without leaping or maybe advance save it up.

All three of this is what i do everytime ans it helps me save and gain some capitals for investment on cryptocurrency. I hope these three would help someone even on a little way.
Its easy to say but it is hard to do.
In reality, 80% of the population knows about savings, about investment and about how to divide their money according to their needs but why there is always lack of financial stability?
Practically speaking, our monthly income specially in a developing country is not enough to sustain our daily needs. For example: in my country, the basic salary for a teacher is just $400 every month. I will divide my daily cost for a month.
1. $30 - electric bill
2. $20 - water bill
3. $200 - food
4. $40 - transportation
5. $50 - food supplements for my mother
6. $10 - rent of house
Equivalent to $350
That is the exact amount I paid every month and all of them are my family's daily expenses. Only $50 left in my salary not included my tax and insurance. See? How do I save if my monthly salary is just exact to provide my family needs?
Probably, we cannot make a savings if our salary is not enough to our needs. But still, I always save even 1 dollar only per month. That's my case, how about the people who are unemployed or does not have regular job?
P.S. all of the value I gave is converted in the currency of my country.

That is the reality for the average wage earners. Some are negative. Their salary is not even enough to pay for all their expenses. To cover up all our expenses,  we need to look for other source of income. You can do this while working,  you can sell different items which are in demand in your office. I lf you still have free time,  you can do part time jobs. There are many ways to earn  and increase our income. Just be hardworking and determine.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest more of what I don't have (money) on: April 25, 2018, 01:57:24 AM
I want to invest a few more thousands into eos, iota, and aion for the win. Too bad it will take me a few more weeks. I am so drained lol. Anyone else thinking like this? So motivated to invest. But lacking the funds.

Take it easy. Take one step at a time. Dont be impulsive. Build your capital first before investing into anything. Try first on campaign where capital or no amount of money is needed. Once you earn from it,  maybe its time to invest on such altcoins. Plan your move so you wont regret your decision.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 25, 2018, 01:46:57 AM
What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

For me its both. You need a capital and you also need an idea. What will you do with the money of you do not know where and how to use it. Your money will be blown away.  Before you start in business,  you must be sure what business are you venturing. The pros and cons. You have to be careful not to waste your capital.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: April 25, 2018, 01:34:16 AM
Aside from bitcoin what do you think is one of the best alternative investments in the economy today?

Bitcoin is one of the best investment but if you want to spread your capital in different investment,  that is good. Try investing in business such as jewelry,  food business and apartment for rent. These are some of the income generating business. You should also consider your passion and goal in life before you start in any business.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: April 25, 2018, 01:26:08 AM
what would you do if you had so much debt and that your income was not enough to repay your debt installment?
how will you deal with it?
how to solve it?
If your debt is t a person only,  you can talk to them to stop the interest so you can pay the principal and the interest. But if they continue to put an interest,  you will not be able to pay them. Just be honest with them. If your debt is in the bank or other lending institutions,  that is a bit difficult since some of them wont allow to stop the interest and other charges. All you need to do is to look for other possible source of income. If you still have assets left,  sell it so you can pay all your debts. Once you get out from debt,  dont ever dare to be in debt again. Manage our income and finances wisely. Learn how to save and invest.

17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think the Elders would also listen to Youth? on: April 19, 2018, 11:01:25 AM
What is your opinion about it , you think they will listen to modern youth today.
We gain wisdom from all ages. Gone are the days that information is practically owned by the older generation. Because now the young people have their own perspective on life. And they are no longer happy with old life.

Why not. I think elders will listen to young people of today. The also have something to share. Their wisdom and experiences are different compared to elders. They will learn more from todays generation. Some of the elders knowledge are already obsolete because we are already in the modern age.there are matured youth who can share their ideas with the oldies.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why isn't atheism classified as another religion? on: April 19, 2018, 09:55:22 AM
Since atheists have a common belief system and they are pretty organized why they do not consider themselves as a part of a another religion which does not have a god?

Atheist cannot be classified as another religion. They are contradict. Religion has something on common which is belief for God while atheist is the opposite. And atheist should not be recognize. They are against God. How can you trust people with no God. They can be harmful and fearful. They do not care what ever they do.Atheist must encounter God so that their belief  and mndset will ..change.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Marriage vs. Divorce on: April 19, 2018, 09:45:35 AM
Marriage is a sacred union between man and woman who are deeply in love with each other. But what if you come to a point that you are no longer happy with your marriage, or you feel that your love gets weaker after several years due to infidelity of your partner, or being irresponsible of his/her obligations? Would you file for a divorce or will you hold on to your marriage not because you love your partner but because it's your commitment? Just wanted to know your opinion. Thank you!

Yes thats right. Marriage is sacred and no man can separate what  God has join together. If that happens in your marriage,  I believe it can still be settled. They need to forgive each other and forget the past. Workout your relationship. Dont bring out the past and.mistakes of each other everytime you quarrel. It will not help your relationship. If your husband or wife decided to go despite of the effort you did,  dont divorce. Pray for him,  wait patiently. If he is meant for you,  he will come back.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your take on homosexuality? on: April 18, 2018, 09:51:46 AM
It's a terrible idea to jail or beat people to death for being homosexuals. I mean, their lifestyle do not affect us in any way, why would we want humans like us destroyed. I know for sure that certain people are born homosexuals, so why would they be punished for what wasn't their fault?

However, I strongly dislike the fact that people go about promoting homosexuality. I don't think it's a good idea. The lifestyle doesn't just feel right.
I consider homosexuality is a disorder... it should be handled medically and if possible, spiritually (for those who believe) like other disorders.  Imagine encouraging people to be Fat because you think being fat is OK and cool.

Anyway, I want your opinion on this matter. Are you OK with Gays?

Im not in favor of homosexuals but that doesnt mean that i will hurt them or treat them the wrong way. Homosexuality is a sin. God did not create third sex. They need to understand that it is a wrong choice and decision to stay that way. Once they understand and get to know the truth,  that is the only time that they will accept their real identity. They need to be love and be guided to the right path.
