2  Economy / Services / Re: 110,000 KH/s up for grabs *EDIT* on: November 30, 2013, 08:50:55 AM
The economics are actually slightly worse. Difficultly will increase to around 1770 in the next 22 hours and you will only mine 440 LTC at that rate for a total of $17,600. Now you are losing money.

I agree with you that this is just like buying LTC now.

This deal is no longer appealing.  Yochdog is trying to hedge an extremely volatile commodity (LTC)—an admiral thought—for a very short period.

It's basic financial risk analysis...  The more volatile the commodity, the more risk, and the more generous the seller must be to compensate the buyer fairly.

To make this appealing one of two things must happen:
  • The margin from market price must be increased OR
  • The length of the term must be increased.

Failing these two items, this deal is merely a very large purchase order, to be delivered in 7 days.

I second Dragoon's question. I would be interested in fractional rental or in grouping together with a few people.

I am currently in negotiations for the full 30 days.  If you would want to do fractional renting, I suppose could buy a percentage of the coins from me.  Everything would be contractually bound and yochdog's payments wouldn't be dependent on yours.  PM me if you are interested.
4  Economy / Services / Re: BTCMiners "Cloud Hashing" | $8.50 USD per GH/s! on: November 28, 2013, 03:53:32 AM
Well, those are two transactions anyone could find and place... Figured this crap would come sooner or later dealing with someone who's trying to get nearly all the Bitcoins that have been collected.

It's pre-Thanksgiving.  Have a drink and I'll wait to see the proof outside of two transactions ids..

Could you explain this?  I find your attitude regarding an alleged loan to be both unprofessional and curt.

Please tell us why this man is accusing you of not repaying a loan.

According to http://wemineltc.com/statsAuth you are almost 15% under the 110K KH/s you mentioned earlier, but if you have some flexibility, pm me.

Thank you!

To clarify, the flexibility would be regarding trust, not your hashing power.  That is largely irrelevant at these prices.

Is anyone else waiting on verification?
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: November 26, 2013, 08:31:05 PM
Luckily my deposit was today granted, and funds are on my account. I make deposit with sepa (eur). After I make deposit I found this thread and was sooo scared.

That's normal, just wait for them to lock your account... :/

So, I opened an account, submitted my docs, and got 'authorization' e-mails.

Wife and I live on different continents - if she wires money to my BTC-e account, from a US bank account solely in her name, is there ANY prospect of this going through?

Am I the only person that is 'authorized' to wire money into this account?

Anyone make wire deposits in this manner before?

Thanks.

Please do not wire them ANY money.  This site is a bonafide scam, you will never get credit.

BTC-e is officially dead.  Look elsewhere for your exchange needs.

They are clearly either:
     A) Scammers OR
     B) Incompetent

@AsiaNexgen Could you elaborate on how long it takes for verification?

Additionally, how long do you take to process a wire transfer from the United States?

I need someone to correct my account.

There is a bug in your subscription system such that when someone clicks one of the buttons twice in rapid succession (before being on a plan) two invoices are generated.

Unfortunately, despite paying 0.015 BTC, my account remains -0.015 BTC because of the second erroneous invoice.

Could a staff member please correct this?  My email is ...@...com and I am signed up through the Google OpenID system.

I think the biggest problem with most of the exchanges for BTC is the lack of professional support.

For BTC to be a legitimate fiat alternative there needs to be reputable and responsible intermediary organizations.

In the same vein there needs to be more community validation of said intermediaries to protect the public from fraud.
