When you have set-up your virtual machine, you'll have to mount a bootable device. Just download whaterver linux .iso you want, and then mount it. Don't forget to dismount it when you've installed the system.

And this little piggy went hashing!

Entry: #95
Customer #: 26607

A judge asks a defendant to please stand. "You are charged with murdering a garbage man with a chain saw."

From the back of the courtroom a man shouts, "You lying bastard!"

"Silence in the court!" The judge turns to the defendant again and says, "You are also charged with killing a paperboy with a shovel."

"You tightwad!" blurts the spectator.

"Quiet!" yelled the judge. "You are also charged with killing a mailman with an electric drill."

"You cheap son of a... " the spectator starts to shout.

The judge thunders back, " I will hold you in contempt! What is the reason for your outbursts?"

"I've lived next to that lying bastard for 10 years now, but do you think he ever had a tool when I needed to borrow one?"

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If i upload photos from a virused computer to facebook, are they cleaned? on: August 27, 2014, 07:25:52 PM
How in hell can a picture have code  Roll Eyes

Effectively you could embed anything you like in a picture. For example in the EXIF data. If a photo viewer in fact has a vulnerability you could (under certain circumstances) cause a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the targeted machine. It wouldn't be the first time that something like that is being used to take over a machine.
Nope, there have been many examples of that happening.

Did you know that Kim Jong-Il's oldest son, Kim Jong-nam, was wideley considered to be the apparent to the title of "Supreme Leader of North Korea" until he attempted to enter Japan with a fake passport so he could go to Disneyland?
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Colonizing Mars on: April 24, 2014, 03:31:44 PM
Terraforming requires Nuclear Fusion energy, actually mars is perfect for nuclear fusion because there is no will by current governments to adopt fusion on earth so Mars will be a good scenario.

However the logistics involved to construct massive fusion plants and teraforming technology will require another 300-500 years+ of advancement.

For the last time Mars One is a bullshit project, that will fail or significantly delayed.
We could send asteroids into the martian surface as well. That would rise the temperature.

I'd contribute too so on the condition i don't have to engage in any actual gardening  Smiley
I think the point is to just buy the forest to preserve it.
Exactly.

It is nice to see that so many bitcoiners actually care about the rainforest. Now the big question is, would you actually donate money for the cause of buying some hectares (assuming there was a reliable organization that had that task)?
15  Other / Off-topic / Buy rainforest? on: April 02, 2014, 12:27:41 PM
Hi guys!
Does anyone know how to buy rainforest in borneo, amazonas or something?
Would be kinda cool to create a bitcoin funded natural reserve.

Nope, my power company uses renewable energy, and I don't own a car. I rarely go by bus either.

Good god, imagine the press meltdown.

An environmental group financed by the single most environmentally destructive and waistful operation in the history of mankind besides Little Boy, Fat Man, Fukushima and Chernobyl . That would go over well.
Yeah, cause the banks where they store their money usually refrain from investing in companies that pollutes the world lol.

Do you see environmental groups endorsing banks?
I hardly believe they keep all their money in cash.
