1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] X11/PoS/Privacy on: June 13, 2014, 09:42:43 PM
When trying to setup an xnode, in the instuctions it says "Setup a separate wallet for this & transfer 550 XC’s to the wallet"

How do I setup a separate wallet on the same computer?

Are you wanting to run PoS and an Xnode from the same computer? If so I don't think it can be done at least not to my knowledge because both wallets would need to be using the same port. If you want to swap between one or the other you can tell the wallet x11coin-qt.exe to use another folder for data by adding -datadir=C:\XCData to a bat file.

x11coin-qt.exe -datadir=C:\XCData

It can be any location that is just an example.

Thanks for the help. Smiley

I guess it will be easier for me to use a different computer to run the x-node, then then one I am using to store my coins.

I am glad this coin is dead.

The airdrop was the stupidest Idea I have ever heard of.

5  Other / MultiBit / Multibit - Transaction disappeared, looking for some help. on: March 18, 2014, 08:41:26 PM
Hey guys, i think I made a mistake earlier today and now my coins are in limbo.

I had a wallet balance of 0.43 BTC and I was trying to send the 0.43 Bitcoin from my Multibit wallet to BTC-E.

I thought that i only had 0.33, because I had spent 0.1 earlier on hosting a couple days earlier. But i thought I might have just remembered wrong.

So i sent the 0.43 bitcoins it said I had to my BTC-E wallet address....and I got the Square Box icon on the side.

So i waited an hour, then 2. Nothing changed, it was still the white square and the transaction Couldn't be found on the blockchain.info

So i reset my wallet, and now it shows my balance as 0, and there is nothing under transactions for today.

I have not ever backed up anything.

Any help would be appreciated on what I have to do to get access to the bitcoin again Smiley

EDIT: When I go to Blockchain.info and type in my wallet address it says this.

Transactions
No. Transactions   5
Total Received   0.4226 BTC
Final Balance   0.3325 BTC
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Need some help, Transaction not confirmed, really confused :S on: November 25, 2013, 10:40:30 PM
Hey guys, I ended up buying bitcoin off my buddy lastnight.

I downloaded multibit....set up the wallet....and he transferred me the bitcoin.

I then paid him.

It was showing lastnight that i got the bitcoin, but the transaction is not yet confimed, so i said whatever and turned off my computer.

Its now about 18 hours later, i open up my wallet right now so i can send to BTC-e and it still says "transaction not yet confirmed. Seen by 3 peers"

Then i looked at the date in multibit and it says the 17th, my computers time and date was wrong....i hope that doesnt affect anything.

So i fixed the time.

I then click veiw transaction on blockchain and block explorer and they say the date as today.

At the bottom of my multibit wallet it says synchronizing with network fot about a half hour now, 221 block downloading...but i dont see any progress on the green bar.

So what exactly needs to be done so i can transfer these to BTC-E?

Did i mess something up with my computer clock being the wrong time? Or do i just wait? Does multibit NEED to be open?

Thanks ahead of time for any responses Smiley
