" If it is executed poorly, it might seem like an obvious scam "
THEN, IF IT WAS EXECUTED WELL, IT IS NOT AN OBVIOUS SCAM?
THEREFORE, IT IS STILL A SCAM?

Should have worded it,"it will look like a scam" or something else
But you chose 'it might seem like an obvious scam"

7  Economy / Reputation / What can you say about this? on: February 15, 2018, 05:00:26 PM
I saw a newly-posted thread with funny comments
What is even more amazing is that comments are mostly from full member and hero members
even the thread posted got 16merits for an Announcement
I don't know but something smells fishy
Someone even pointed that out as well
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2910160.0
8  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this allowed? on: February 11, 2018, 07:02:04 PM
The merit giver is the one who posted that thread
and by the looks of it
They are on the same project.
That kind of reply would be normal if you ask me
I would like to hear the opinion of other reputable members
9  Economy / Reputation / Is this allowed? on: February 11, 2018, 06:45:41 PM
Check this guy profile
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1184165
Got 50 merit for a post like this
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2890431.msg29712339#msg29712339

I can't say they are related but if this is how merit will be used. It is killing the system
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A SUSPECTED SHADY ICO SHOULD BE BANNED on: February 11, 2018, 05:36:49 PM
Thank you for the comments.
Also, bounty hunters effort will be put to waste.
We saved alot of people from getting scammed and we save bounty hunters from giving an effort in a project that won't pay in the end.

I would be happy to give assistance if some staff will implement this
11  Economy / Reputation / Re: DTs Kindly look! ( UPDATE: ANOTHER GIVEAWAY THREAD) on: February 10, 2018, 09:32:52 PM
I was in dextroncoin's telegram
I saw someone asking for their eth address and btc address for transparency
So he/she can verify the records
admin said that all in web
then kicked him/her
that was funny
Check this another thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2869145
This is their webite dextroncoin.info
raised 25btc and 51eth in 2 days
Raised a lot based on the numbers in their website lol
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A SUSPECTED SHADY ICO SHOULD BE BANNED on: February 10, 2018, 09:21:20 PM
One example is dextroncoin.
Anyone, who can put scam ICOs that needs to be avoided?
I will try to make a list
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A SUSPECTED SHADY ICO SHOULD BE BANNED on: February 05, 2018, 06:16:09 PM
I think, shady ico should be banned. ICO with fake team and etc. It will lessen the case of scam.
Hope everyone will help in reporting those guys.
Bounty Hunter should learn to study first the project before promoting. They should get a red too if you asked me. People saw their posts/tweets and sometimes get influenced. Thus bounty Hunters played a great role in the scam.
I can see that bounty hunters just apply in every ico they see. All their posts are about bounties. shhh
14  Economy / Reputation / Re: DTs Kindly look! This ICO IS A SCAM ( UPDATED) on: February 05, 2018, 04:51:08 PM
Tagged. This isn't even allowed as per forum policy:

Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.
Thanks for clarifying it,This is an honest mistake and i dont intend to cause a spam on our thread,i will remove the giveaway as soon as possible.

and they still conducted another giveaway thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2869145

hope investors won't get greedy and fall with this trick
ico is fund raising
15  Economy / Reputation / DTs Kindly look! ( UPDATE: ANOTHER GIVEAWAY THREAD) on: February 04, 2018, 11:08:19 PM
browsing  the forum
I saw this thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2881137
it says:
"Participants must post a high quality comment in our main BitcoinTalk main thread
Three to four quality post per day, atleast 3 hours interval.
Ten quality comments/post per week.
Submit your daily post links here: BitcoinTalk monitoring
Post/comments must have atleast 100 characters
Fill up Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeD8DQBcsTddecXa-epVIH6VZdXkmD0JQQfJh-qABSVRa1_qw/viewform "

Wanting a comment to get investors
I've checked their website
I can't even see on Google their team
and they offer 1M$ cash raffle at the end and 100k$ per round
I thought ICO is fund raising.

Be careful. I suggest not to invest on this one.
They even allocated 20% of the supply to a 1 month bounty program

Can people buy your tokens now?
I'm interested in your project
A trading platform with news about crypto is quite convenient in trading. It can boost people's trading skill.
17  Economy / Reputation / Be careful of DigitalKeys!!!! on: January 30, 2018, 07:53:32 PM
I don't know if I will put this on scam or reputation so I put it on both

I've filled up a form they offered in the service section and wondered what it is
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2851361.0

After a while, they sent an e-mail
They are asking for a review in their thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2846515.msg29198462#msg29198462

I think this will create a fake information.Participants haven't tried it for sure but because of the money offered they will create a fake one.
I'm just a newbie but I think this is not right

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin need to be taxed? on: January 25, 2018, 02:42:57 PM
Bitcoin taxation depends on country's acceptance and how do they deal with it. But haven't you noticed that when  you withdrawn your bitcoin into a certain flat there's this called transaction fee or payment from where you have encashed. I think that it is some sort of tax already.
Another point is that it would be nearly impossible to apply taxation in bitcoin itself, since the accounts and wallets always remain anonymous. It would be hard for the government to identify whom they should be adding tax onto.
