1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Nanoget - Nanopool Mining Monitior for Mac computers on: January 25, 2018, 06:01:58 PM
Hello, this is my second post here Smiley

I was looking to easily track my mining progress with an Apple computer, so I spent some time and came up with this.

If this is something that would be useful for you, then head over to the releases and download it. Please note that you will have to Control+Click on the Install.Command file, then click open from there; this is due to my not buying into Apple's developer program.
As stated in the GitHub description, the program can only access your stats from nanopool, it cannot change anything. The install.command just installs the Nanoget.app and moves it to /Applications/.

Thanks

I'm relatively new to mining, but I'm well versed in hardware and software related to AMD cards.

I purchased a new RX 480 not too long ago and was very excited to start mining. I loaded up windows 10 on a Dell workstation and fired it up. Installed the related drivers then got a Code 43 error which I realize now could have been fixed easily. I then switched to Linux and started mining at 26mh/s. I then wanted to switch to windows for overclocking purposes. I switched to windows 7, installed the proper drivers and fixed the code 43 error with the patcher. I then decided to flash a different VBIOS to the card without saving the original.

I'm currently on Windows 7, with AMD's 17.##.1 drivers. I have flashed the RX480.air VBIOS to the card and have no troubles getting it to comply with the drivers. My problem is that when I turn on Claymore'a miner and overclock with the MSI Afterburner, the card gets a maximum hashrate of ~18.700mh/s. I'm in need of some guidance here, I know the card has the potential to reach up to 31mh/s. I have the memory at 2200mhz, the core at 1200mhz and 150% power settings.

I would like to achieve over 24mh/s ideally.

Thanks in advance.

This might be a driver issue, try to use modified drivers for windows 7 by Robinh00d

works well with my windows  rigs.

Thanks a million! Getting 28Mh/s stable on the modded BIOS. Though when I try to overclock, I get some incorrect shares.

you just dowloaded a bios and flashed to you card Huh did you checked the bios version number ? the one you had on your card it was the same as the bios your downloaded and flashed Huh what kind of card you have ? its a reference card ? what brand ? its a 4GB or 8GB version Huh

Yeah, not the best decision I've made for sure, didn't check bios number at all.

I don't know if it's a reference card.. AMD Radeon RX480 8GB
