1  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] on: October 08, 2022, 07:32:26 PM
Signed up after being spammed with ads on crypto PTCs and thinking "hey, why not have a look". I don't do casino games because they're built mathematically to include a house percentage and, frankly, my luck sucks so I always lose! However, I've been enjoying the sports and esports betting immensely: simple to do, covers most sports/games (including some pretty obscure stuff), is on blockchain for transparency and allows in-game betting when the event's live. Live feeds for esports are mostly embedded Twitch, I think, so decent quality. The site can be a bit unwieldy and could do with a few extra features on the e/sports betting side, IMHO, but the support's great, the players are generally friendly and it's completely trustworthy. Haven't withdrawn yet but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Finally got a $20 win at freebitco. Well pleased after so many years of consistent, reliable output. Nice little bonus - and during the dip, so lots of extra sats! WHEEEEE!

I just won $20 at FreeBitco.in!

My user id is 1320516.

Is there anything still done with tittiecoin/limitless vip coin?

I see it is still being traded but not much else. Is there still an organization behind this?

There's a single dev who's terrible at communicating anything and has odd priorities. No other team and he refuses help from anyone, pretty much.
The Discord is active (but you'll get banned if you ask too many questions, disagree with the dev or point out shortcomings).
The chain is stuck and has been for about 6 months.
The dev says it's fixed but hasn't produced a bootstrap to get people past the sticking point.
Only listed on CREX but wants to get off there, though I don't see how it's going to get listed anywhere else with a stuck chain.

I'd say to keep an eye open for a listing and dump it as fast as possible. It hasn't scammed but there's no future in it except the possibility of a random pump-and-dump. Basically a toxic shitcoin.

where can we find more info on the team behind this exchange ? and maybe legal entity/legal approval in the exchange's home country. because we have seen many exit-scam exchanges in the past.

Given that I have over a million FLAPX on the old exchange, for which I requested withdrawal over 170 days ago (LONG before the new version was released), that the owner has blocked me from the new Telegram group, has left the (presumably old) Discord group and (as far as I can tell) blocked me from the new one, doesn't answer direct messages on either platform, doesn't appear to have a working support ticket system (can create, never get any emails), doesn't respond to the coin devs and has either blocked me from direct email or has a non-working email address, I think you can add this one to the list of scumbag exit-scamming exchanges.

You know how their website says they're a UK-based company (while the TOS refers to Hong Kong law)?

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is TradeSatoshi Safe? Anyone Used It? on: May 15, 2019, 01:44:49 PM
All victims of cryptopia know now how they were cheated.
After the hack around 15% of funds were lost.
But most of the remaining cryptos were not able to be traded or withdrawn afterwards.
So Cryptopia made mode damage than the hackers.
False and missing information from the scammers at cryptopia.
All Funds inside are now lost.
But until the last day they allowed deposits, so they rose the damage.

That's a lot of assumptions and inaccurate information, built on top of a lack of knowledge of how their business works/worked (because we can't see inside).

Given that they announced their liquidation today, no one knows precisely what'll happen yet. But yes, a lot of people are going to lose out.

Frankly, Cryptopia was properly regulated and everything so I don't see how anyone can call scam or cheating. It sucks but that's business. That's the risk we take by investing through a broker/exchange.

Quote
Just keep that in mind, if you trade on tradesatoshi.com with at least one of the same guys...and think twice if you can trust them....

Cryptopia's attitude has always been VERY different to TS.

My problem with TS is their total lack of customer service and the VERY dodgy way they make decisions.

They ban users from chat for voicing opinions or concerns: I saw someone get banned for 11.5 YEARS for saying that the TS admins weren't very good.

Their KYC isn't fair (and I'm pretty sure it's not legal, either). They steal a LOT of money from people that way - though thankfully I'd moved all my coins out before I got screwed by that - lost about $25 instead of hundreds.

Their delistings are random and numerous. They also have a nasty habit of not fixing anything before they delist, so you can't get your coins out - in my case, a wallet with 5,300,000 coins and a status of "OK" wouldn't let me withdraw. They deleted the coin and refuse to do anything about my issue. Bye bye my coins.

Their support is appalling. I've raised tickets on at least half a dozen exchanges and TS is the only one where I've been consistently treated like an annoying piece of shit. Everywhere else listens and tries to fix the problem. TS doesn't: the admins simply say "Fuck you, deal with it" and move on. Zero effort, zero comprehension, zero help (except with very simple things).

Their anti-hack efforts are pathetic and self-centred. When NYC suffered a 51% attack, TS created a new token - NYRT - and said they'd work with the NYC people and do their best to reiumburse as much NYC as possible at the price before the hack. They opened a DOGE market and set their price at 1 dogesat, which is - of course - pathetic compared to the price the coins were before the attack. They refused to work with the NYC people, they did nothing about the issue for six months then, this week, they delisted NYRT. In short, they deleted their debt without recourse. Another few million coins.

Short version: I'd trust Cryptopia a thousand times more than TS, regardless of who owns/owned them. Get out of TS. Now.

Looks like Teacoin has been rather abruptly delisted at Tradesatoshi:

It was on the delisting list ages ago - my "Windows wallet?" post from April 15 was because of that. They delayed most of that batch of delistings because of all the KYC ("We'll steal your money!") problems they're having.

Hmm, well it's not showing at an earlier date in the news, and I checked my email from around March onwards and there's been no mention there either.

A heads up would have been nice, as I had a balance on there.

Just checked: originally 15 April with 7 days' notice. Not much better. One of the reasons - apart from them stealing my money - that I've left TS.

Tradesatoshi isn't a scam. I have been trading on it since last month.

Good for you. I was there from July last year with no serious trouble until recently and would have said much the same as you. Then I learned differently.

Quote
There are just some lapses at times but it's smooth most of the time. They actually delist shitcoins whenever needed. If you're having problems, you can report it to their support team immediately.

I hope you never run into one of their "lapses" that they refuse to solve and which costs you everything you have on the exchange. There are plenty of them, as I've discovered to my loss. Support is no help at all when they decide to screw you.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tradesatoshi is a scam ? on: April 30, 2019, 11:20:08 AM
Did you trade in Tradesatoshi? Is there any problem for withdrawals?
Most people do complain when it come to withdrawal of them token from TradeSatoshi Exchange.

Those are usually just people who are pissed off because they didn't get to sell their coins - which is normal when there's a delisting - or when no withdrawals are possible because the coin is broken - which is not the exchange's fault. I've lost coins like that before and you just have to suck it up or withdraw and hope someone revives it.

However, in my case, they kept 5,300,000 of a coin that was listed on their status page as "OK" but which I couldn't withdraw because of their system (max withdraw was set to zero despite the coin being active). And they've built a KYC system that makes no sense, keeping everything else I had. Support keeps repeating the same crap that doesn't apply and refusing to do anything, basically a huge "f*@k you" with no recourse. (Well, since they're UK-based, there's the Financial Ombudsman, who I'll be talking to, even if it's just to piss TS off with an investigation.)

Definitely avoid.

What's the "Lockbox investing" bit on the balance page? I didn't see anything about it in the FAQ.

Lockbox Investing is a section for coins that do not have a staking mechanism in their code but still earn interest.
I have not tried it, have you tried it?
if indeed getting earn is very good, surely people will like to invest here

No response to my question of how to use it, so... no, haven't tried it.

Get out of TS now.

I've been there for years, with over 1,000 trades and never had any real issues apart from shit support and a demented set of trollbox rules. Loved the place: it was shitcoin heaven, with loads of cheap coins to play with.

Then they decided... something. I don't know what they're trying to do over there but the whole place has gone to hell. 75+ coins delisted in about a month, many without good reason (from discussions on a variety of channels) and some without the possibility of withdrawal (on working wallets - lost over 5 million coins on one because TS was messed up, nothing wrong with the wallet).

Then they suddenly inflict KYC randomly on people, with no possibility of adjusting your profile (and seriously, how many people have their real info in there when all it needs is a name and nothing else?) and requiring that the details on your ID match perfectly.

Their recent changes and fundamentally flawed KYC process just resulted in them keeping all my money, despite my ability to provide ID to prove who I am and everything else. Support has always been awful but they've recently taken a turn for the psychotic, refusing to help, refusing to fix stuff, refusing everything.

I always assumed people who had trouble there were just stupid or deliberately trying to scam or something. Not so. I'm totally legit (and KYC-passed on a multitude of other exchanges), have been there for years and just got fucked up the poop-chute by this thieving bunch of scum.

Get out now, while you still can.
