1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 04, 2014, 08:21:46 PM
Does anyone have any insights on where did the 60GHS hashrate of the AUR network came from?

The LTC hashrate has increased by 15% in the last few days, while DOGE hashrate is more or less the same. Where did the sudden 60 GHS popped up from? Where were these miners before? One would expect many miners would move from LTC and DOGE to AUR, which would consequentially decrease their network hashrates. But it doesn't seem like it. Remember when DOGE was on the upswing a month or so ago - the LTC hashrate dropped about 30-40% when miners migrated to doge.. Any ideas why this is so?

Multipools my friend!!!

Makes sense, thanks!
