TrasMaMod have some major issue, in the past 2 days mining with 20 khash/s didn't got nothing. Now I went back to MinerClaim and I already got 0.000475 XMG for less than a half hour. Can someone else also confirm that TrasMaMod is broken?

At 21 kh/s I mined like 0.052 XMG in 24hrs, is that for real?! And that 24hrs cost me of electricity exactly $2.73 USD for mining! ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Also nice hash rate we got there, 115,606.92 KH/s, I didn't mine nothing in the past 2-3 hours.

Hi starmman! Thanks for the answer! What is more important for achieving the best result: a set of instructions, number of cores, clock frequency or all together? Or connecting several concurrently at the pool?
In my experience, the best thing to do with magi is mine on low power for a long time. Most pools are dropping people who are running more than 250kh/s, optimal network hashrate is 40-60Mh/s, anything above that, and the rewards drop - so could be counterproductive to eek out extra performance. However, I find you have a better chance of work being accepted if you combine threads over processes. Yeah, running on old Intel Q6600 with 60% load and I got 20-23 khash/s from it, it's really good. Anyway, I tested the Intel i5-8600 on 100% and got flat 150 khash/s...

Thanks Wahid Mukti good to see you here again. Magi is working on sort of crowdfunding page for developments fund. Starting without ICO (old school) is great but also has some cons. Another good new message today: Magi XMG added on another exchange today: https://btcpop.co/Exchange/XMGThanks BTCpop! That is really nice news too, but pls try to add Magi to Poloniex ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

We opened our own pool with just 1% fee, which is from our understanding very low. We are not aiming to get rich while sleeping, only so it can partly pay for the bandwidth etc. Hence the low fee. You can join us at http://xmg.hashtech.nl we have a strict "no-whales-allowed" policy. Amount of KHs is subject to debate, but we will suspend any big hashers as we want go give everyone a chance to join into XMG. Cheers! Nice, but what is your transfer fee?! It's set to 0.1 currently, which is about 8 cents. We will adjust accordingly on pool size and coin worth. Transfers will never be more then $0.10. This is simply to cover bandwidth and costs to keep the pool up. The more miners we have the lower we go, as we need less and less to cover for it. We have 100+ connections to the network so the confirms and block height updates will be quick. (We could go higher, but as we've experienced it doesn't result in better confirm or block height update speeds) We are trying to encourage people to save a few XMG up before transferring it to their wallets. This is cheaper for us, but also for all the users. 0.1 XMG is too high fee. The max acceptable fee is up to 0.05! And do not convert it to $$$ and say, it is only $0.10!!! The current price of the coin is about $1, BUT next month could be $1000! I honestly disagree with that. Fiat is what's paying the bill for the rack space its in, the energy it uses, the bandwidth it uses. If for any reason the coin would be worth $1000 next month, then we would set our fee at 0.0001 As written before, we adjust the fee accordingly to its market price. If you still think it's to high, it's your own choice of course. You are free to use a different pool or to go solo mining. I also disagree with you too. The cheapest VPS is about from $7 to $15 and is perfect start for new project like this. So, you will get VPS from $15/month. This is $0.5/day and with the current price of the coin you need 0.5 coins per day. I will stop writing anymore, the above example is clear. Comparing to the others like: - SuprNova fee is 0.0001 XMG- Bull Mining fee is 0.01 XMG- The LuckyPool fee 0.01 XMG- MinerClaim fee is 0.05 XMGIt's clear that the mentioned 0.1 XMG is too high fee! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

is CPU mining a waste of time and money??? why it's so expensive to mine? the price make no sence!
Yes, if you try it at home like me! Asking why? After almost 2 days with 60% CPU load I managed to collect 0.10599266 Coins on 4 computers (1x Intel i3, 2x Intel i5 and 1x E8400). So, 30 days (1 month) x 0.10599266 = 3.1797798 (Coins per month) x $0.9858 (XMG USD price) = USD $3.13462692684 And now you loose money on the power consumption and it's not worth it. Just my humble opinion! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Run your miners on computers with already payed utility bill (like your office computers). If you want to make money will need more computers with "free" power. Yeah, in the worst case I will buy 10 XMGs and wait! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hi there,
Is it supports Magi (XMG) Coin (it's CPU mining)?!
Thank you!
That coin uses the M7M algo which is not built in AM currently. You would need to setup the algo, the coin, upload your custom mining software to your rigs, then setup the pool, and finally point your rigs to everything you just setup. Thank you for your answer! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Including "-e 60" to the command line will not limit the CPU, it goes UP to 100% for all Cores on Windows 7 64-bit fresh install nothing else intalled except the drivers.
It didn't have an effect on my i5 running Win 10 either. Yes, I have two laptops with i5 and freshly installed Windows 7 64-bit with same issue, but after I installed the Visual C++ runtimes (McRip VC Redist Installer) it fixed that, but now instead of 14-16 khash/s I got only 2.45 khash/s ?! On my other two desktops are all fine! What is the catch here?!
