Asking why?

After almost 2 days with 60% CPU load I managed to collect 0.10599266 Coins on 4 computers (1x Intel i3, 2x Intel i5 and 1x E8400).

So, 30 days (1 month) x 0.10599266 = 3.1797798 (Coins per month) x $0.9858 (XMG USD price) = USD $3.13462692684

And now you loose money on the power consumption and it's not worth it.

Just my humble opinion! 

Run your miners on computers with already payed utility bill (like your office computers). If you want to make money will need more computers with "free" power.

I came across the tutorial on how to mine Magi using Raspberry Pi. I am going to give it a try soon

i found that guide the easiest, make sure you use network cables and decent power sources and you should get above 12kh/s, useless at the minute though with network weight, before christmas you could make 0.5 coins a day with a pi, now its about 0.00001

You can join us at http://xmg.hashtech.nl we have a strict "no-whales-allowed" policy. Amount of KHs is subject to debate, but we will suspend any big hashers as we want go give everyone a chance to join into XMG.

The magi network has its own custom reward structure, basically the more people that mine it the less rewards are given per block, before Christmas the total network hash rate was between 10-30mh/s and each block was rewarding between 50-100 magi coin, then after Christmas when they performed the fork the amount of miners has increased and now the network hash rate sits around 100mh/s and each block is rewarding less than 1 per block. Now if you consider some of the big miners on the network are mining with 10,000kh/s+ the share you will get from even 10 pi's giving you 120kh/s will be next to nothing so little in fact with my 8 pi's and pc making 200kh/s and was only getting around 0.0001 per block, it used to be really good to mine with pi but not anymore, there are still a few profitable coins out there you can switch to on the pi's but you will have to do quite a bit of searching to find compatible miners and guides, i have 5 separate algorithms that i can mine on my pi's, i have them mining something else for the minute and hopefully if the network reduces and you get decent rewards again i will switch them back to magi.

If you don't have a real high hashrate, now is not the time to mine Magi - which is my case. But, you can still make some good money by trading

I'm sure the hash will drop again - I also stopped mining - I'm making much more XMG in trading =)
