Site stability is improving — we’re scaling up infrastructure but may still experience intermittent downtime over the next 48 hours.

Do we have an ETA for the end of the 48 hours? It's been 15 days know since the beginning of the downtime.

The intended point of the message was that the site was getting a lot more stable, but brief periods of downtime were still possible in the next 48 hours. I think there were a few more brief periods of downtime within that window, but so far as I know the site has been stable since (i.e. it has looked good on our end and we haven't had any complaints about stability).

Hmm, well, the site is stable, yes, and I can trade, but since the tweet I haven't been able to see my balance, past trades and ledger. Also, my open positions don't appear as soon as I'm logged in. Am I the only one still having problems?

I know this has been asked before but is there any news on a websocket-based API (at least for trades and the order book). As the Kraken's trading volume grows, it would be great. Thanks!

It's temporary 'cause I know you're gonna fix it  Cheesy Cheesy

There is a problem with my account, don't know if it is only for me some minutes or for everyone a bigger problem.

My account balance is suddenly empty. First there were no numbers at all. I tried to log out, but it did nothing. After closing the website and open a new tab wit kraken the numbers were there but changed to 0 after some seconds. So I logged out (it worked this time).
Now I'm scared to log in again Cheesy

edit:
I tried to log in again, but it says

after entering my userdata.
Ticketnumber is 32471

Same here, my guess is that it's just a temporary bug...

Hello,

I believe there is a problem with one of your API: https://indacoin.com/api/trades/btc_usd/3124008
The given timestamp is 1408910254, that means 08/24/2014 7:57:34pm UTC but current timestamp (a few minutes after the trade was made) is only 1408895979, 08/24/2014 @ 3:59pm UTC.
So that means there 4 hours more in the timestamp returned by your API.

Also, the timezones used Account History and Recent Trades appear to be different (2-hour difference).

Can you have the developers check it out?

Thanks,
garan.

I wrote some code which queries my ledger every 5 seconds and at the second call I get the following error: "EAPI:Invalid key"
What's the problem? I am Tier 3...

Thanks,
garan

Hi garan - if you haven't done this already, please make a support ticket for this and we can assist you.

In fact this won't be necessary, my code was the problem... part of it is written in C and I had forgotten a few free() which would result in a wrong HMAC hash the second time...  Roll Eyes

Kraken is the most liquid BTCEUR market! (30-day volume)
By market I mean one where you can deposit and withdraw both fiat and coins Tongue.

http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/currency/EUR.html

@Dargo, any news about a websocket-based API? (for public data)

A websocket tops my personal feature request list. Can't wait for that.  Cheesy

But unfortunately I don't have any update or ETA at this time. I will, however, raise this issue with the devs once again and see what I can do to advance the priority on it.

Thanks!

Thanks for making the thread Smiley. I see that in a recent update you added Kraken but only in the USD section. Could you also add it in the EUR section? Kraken is mostly a EUR based exchange.

Thanks!

Hello,

Is it possible to know from where do you get Huobi data? It seems they don't have any public API except for a link that gives only little information.

Thanks.

Right now, Kraken is the #2 bitcoin exchange when it comes to XBT/EUR volume (source).

No. Bitcoin.de is the second largest exchanges for Euro. Source: bitcoincharts.com/markets. More than three times the monthly volume kraken has.

I'm glad to see bitcoincharts.com added Kraken data.
However, you should not look at the monthly volume because Kraken was apparently added the Jan 9th (http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/krakenEUR.html).

From Jan 9th up to Jan 27th (both inclusive) I have found the following volume:
Code:
MtGox      15,491
Bitcoin.de  8,891
Kraken      7,149
BTC-E       5,996

@Avalaxy, he's talking about monthly volume...

Hi,

You also own the BTCM Bitcoin Monitor app, right?
I couldn't find any thread for it on this forum, is there one?

Thanks!
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP, NMC on: January 19, 2014, 10:03:24 PM
The problem is not Kraken but the fact there is not much people trading BTC in EUR.
Actually, if we only consider BTC/EUR, Kraken will soon be the first exchange!

Last 24h
Mt.Gox   BTC/EUR   675.000000 EUR   318.1867 BTC
Kraken   BTC/EUR   607.990000 EUR   316.6295 BTC
BTC-e   BTC/EUR   613.498000 EUR   170.6412 BTC

Best prices too!

Same here, had a sell order at 650 and it hasn't been touched.  Huh

In Chrome's Web Inspector, in the Elements tab, in the head element, a script element keeps appearing and disappearing.

I found this: https://detail.huobi.com/staticmarket/detail.html. Looks like there is the order book as well as recent trades. I can also ask one of my friend who speak Chinese if he can find a more public API ...
19  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: January 10, 2014, 06:51:42 PM
Do you use any framework for the charts? If no, why not? Wasn't it a lot of work?

Also, a bug (or maybe wanted feature) is that when there is a low volume (e.g. Kraken), if the chosen timeframe is e.g. 1 min and there isn't any trade during at least a whole minute then there will not be any space between the two candlesticks. Normal?

Put more simply, if you hover your mouse pointer over the candlesticks you may get 19:50, 19:51, 19:55 if there isn't any trades between 19:52:00 and 19:54:59.

What about Huobi.com? 100k volume in the last 24h it appears.

EDIT: and bitcoin.de?

huobi isnt providing a public API.. so its not possible for me to grab the trade/orderbook data
i have to look at bitcoin.de

Ok thanks for the answer. However, BitcoinWisdom shows Huobi with trades and the order book: http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/huobi/btccny.
Maybe you can check with the developer how he did it...
