Windows miner crashes with error:
2018-Nov-17 00:30:13.484971 INFO [Miner] Found block for difficulty 5386460 2018-Nov-17 00:30:13.500596 WARNING [MinerManager] Couldn't submit block: 7a9c07a0b57895d70ee3c504afc3c97549a033f9e7fcb76d6af9e280a1aabec8, reason: TcpConnector::connect, socket failed, result=10055, 2018-Nov-17 00:30:13.516221 WARNING [MinerManager] Couldn't get block template: TcpConnector::connect, socket failed, result=10055,
How to resolve this?
This happens when your daemon isnt working. If you are using a local daemon restart it if you are using a remote daemon maybe try a different one.

What is the reason for this error message? Miner need to restart? Looks pretty normal those green messages just report your current hashrate. How do you mine on Ubuntu?
I cant run "Celestial-Wallet" erros, but can run Celestiald..what next please J
I added a linux tutorial to the documentation https://celestial-cash.readthedocs.io/en/latest/. Also I will release an update for the GUI Walle later tonight I have been fixing a few small issues over the past few days.

Hi Is there a pool available for this coin yet? At the current hash, solo mining is completely pointless. J
Our coin is pool resistant which relates back to our goal of making it as difficult as possible for one body to even control a small percent of the network. Decentralization is the priority. Hello guys Can you please put a decent guide to mine for windows I have try all and I still cannot mine
I will give merit if the guide is a good one
Thanks
I have created a documentation here that includes Windows guides for nodes and mining: https://celestial-cash.readthedocs.io/en/latest/. I will expand upon the documentations contents over the next few weeks. so i will ask again, what is the point of solo mining this coin at the current hashrate / diff...it will take a top end cpu days to find even 1 block, if you are extremely lucky. At times the difficulty can be hard but our coin's difficulty will fluctuate no matter the number of miners. Our coin has a cycle based difficulty, in other words the difficulty will get hard for a few hours then get easy for the next few hours no matter the number of miners. At the moment Celestial's main use is to mine but big picture our goal is to be as decentralized as possible and by only allowing solo mining with CPU's that achieves our goal.

There has been a large request for OTC trading so I have added a trading channel in the discord. There is a list of escrow agents I recommend but do not endorse also in the discord.

Basically to get your miner working replace "--daemon-host celc.pubnodes.com:18236" with "--daemon-address celc.cryptoknight.space:18236".
Not helping, permanent disconnection. What is the reason that there are no deleted nodes? I tried to mining on a local daemon, after a while it lags behind in sync. Tested on 2 different computers. celc.cryptoknight.space:18236 has been down a lot and I have removed it from the public node list on the Bitcoin Talk page and website. I apologize for any problems the node caused you. I do not personally run any public nodes but I just tested the other 2 options and they work. Please use one of the following: celc.pubnodes.com:18236 crypto9coin.cf:8236 The GUI Wallet was set to use celc.cryptoknight.space:18236 as the default remote node which seems to have been down for awhile. I updated it to use celc.pubnodes.com:18236 instead. You can download the new version here: https://github.com/CelestialCash/GUIWallet/releases/tag/v0.1.3/.

You need a mining guide, It's not 100 % clear how to start & the in wallet miner as it just hangs on load up and doesn't start the normal cryptonote wallet. I had to try with the daemon.
I am working on a wiki right now and will add it to the links on the main post when its done. Can you send me some more info or screenshots though regarding your problem? I check BitcoinTalk once or twice a day or you could join the discord or telegram. Hey Jarrosha,
Could you please enable receiving personal messages from newbies in your profile? I need to PM you something important about your project and I don't want to make it public. My old account was stolen few month ago so I don't have enough history to PM you.
Thank you.
I do not have receiving messages from newbies off but if you are going to send an advertisement please don't bother. If you need help regarding the project I would be happy to help though.

what is the problem? the error looks like celc.pubnodes.com:18236 is down. that is a community run node and i have no access to it. i suggest you try celc.cryptoknight.space:18236 i tested that just now Similarly. The same mistake. Ok I did a little bit of investigating and the owner of celc.cryptoknight.space:18236 said he had to update some software on his node and it was down for about an hour. It should be working great now. Also for the miner please use "--daemon-address celc.cryptoknight.space:18236" instead of "--daemon-host". The "--daemon-host" one only is for the IP. If you want to use "--daemon-host" you would also have to add "--daemon-rpc-port". Basically to get your miner working replace "--daemon-host celc.pubnodes.com:18236" with "--daemon-address celc.cryptoknight.space:18236".

This is another useless shitcoin with no goal and with a potential premine dump. I understand that a new algo is the new trend, but is this the only thing you got to offer? Prove me wrong .
Your first question was about the goal of the coin. To summarize, the goal is to create a coin that is as distributed as possible. One that makes it so no single person has too much of a mining advantage over others and two it makes the coin much more secure and less prone to 51% attacks. As of now this is our main goal but as time goes on we will obviously create new goals and expand the usage of the coin. You can read the description on the first post of this announcement so you can get more info on this. Your second question was about the premine. I have got many other requests for transparency of the use of the premine. So I just added an item to the FAQ explaining the use of the premine a few minutes ago. I have also added a premine tracking website to the timeline, it should be out in the near future. 18 hrs of mining on 3 machines....zero coins...i like the idea of a new algo, and i will be back to try again...but for now, back to what i was mining before

Same here, mining air. I'm sorry to here you both are having problems with getting blocks. First of all, the way the coin works is that the difficulty fluctuates harder and easier no matter the hashrate. This makes our coin less prone to any problems with sudden changes in the networks behavior like a large increase of miners in a short period of time. A full cycle takes normally a few hours. Second of all, the miners where having connection problems to the network yesterday and I had to release a patch to fix the problem if you do not have version 1.2.2.1 you can download it here: https://github.com/CelestialCash/Celestial/releases/tag/v1.2.2.1/. It has resolved these issues. If you are still having problems after these suggestions I suggest to delete your blockchain folder and sync with the network again or use a remote node which you can find in the FAQ. Some have found this was required after the patch. For anyone that is still confused on how this coin works, how to use it, or what the point is I am currently making a whitepaper that hopefully addresses some questions most people still have.

How can I set up solo mining?
A community member has also created a public node now too that you can use if you do not want the whole blockchain on your computer. If you use a command to start your miner add "--daemon-address celc.pubnodes.com:18236" at the end of the command. If you use the windows batch file download the following, place it in your Celestial directory, open it in a text editor, replace the wallet address with your own, save it then double click it. Download: https://ufile.io/z0ft7/There is also a Tor node with the address 5u345btt4fxgl277.onion:18236 In the near future I will make a more user friendly mining option.

the manager's difficulties are so many that it can penetrate all that without any errors and the price of 1 eth is very low compared to before.
What? I don't get what your saying! Is there a problem I am not aware of? Do you have screenshot or someway I can see or recreate the problem if there is one.

Please update your client to the newest version here: https://github.com/CelestialCash/Celestial/releases/. There was a patch for this released earlier today. Thank you for bringing this to my attention I will add the Dutch translation back to the bounty list and will verify the completion of translations more carefully.

Discord invite not working, can someone make a new one?
Seems like it works for me but heres a new one for you: https://discord.gg/HzS9UdU/. 2 mh already?
Part of how our coin works is that the difficulty and miners hashrate will fluctuate in large ups and and downs even if the amount of miners stays the same. It has a cycle based difficulty. If you look on our block explorer here: http://explorer.celestial.cash/ you can see the fluctuation in difficulty in the chart. This makes it so sudden changes in the networks behavior or hashrate don't cause any problems. seems interesting
What is interesting? Another shitcoin with only purpose to dump premine. Whtepaper has no plans even "on paper". There will be a whitepaper later this week.

Both paid thank you for your translations. You are rewarding a scammer (SuperBug). That's your responsibility but very dissapointing for the community and honest bounty hunters. Thank you for bringing this to my attention I will add the Dutch translation back to the bounty list and will verify the completion of translations more carefully.

Where are pools to mine Celestial? I can not find links to mining pools in the OP. Please help me with links if there are available mining pools.
Celestial is completely ASIC, GPU, and pool resistant. If you want to mine you will need to use a CPU and the solo miner you can download the files here: https://github.com/CelestialCash/Celestial/releases. By doing this we limit the control a single body can hold.

Celestial is a new cryptocurrency that uses an improved proof of work algorithm. The first thing we have done is make the coin only being mineable by a CPU using the solo miner. Celestial is completely ASIC and GPU resistant making it hard for one person to get a big hashrate. Doing this drastically limits the amount of control or hashrate a single body can hold. This prevents 51% attacks and gives miners without big mining rigs a fair chance get some coins too. We have also made Celestial pool resistant which makes it so people with multiple high power CPU's can't combine their hashrates and try to find the same block. Meaning every CPU is on their own. You can still combine your CPU's cores though. Celestial has implemented a cycle based curve that makes the difficulty rise and fall in predetermined cycles. This allows the hashrate to be more predictable, making it harder for sudden changes in the networks behavior to cause any problems. For example this makes a 51% attack next to impossible. Celestial hopes to lead the cryptocurrency industry to a more stable and secure state making sure decentralization stays a priority. Specs

FAQ
Q: How do I mine Celestial? A: Currently the only way to mine Celestial is to use the miner executable included in the client files.
Q: What will the premine be used for? A: Below are the percent of the premine for each use. In the timeline you can see that I plan on making a website where I will log all premine expenses.
5% - Testnet participants and helpers. 30% - Bounties. 20% - Community competitions. 15% - Developers. 10% - Founders personal use. 20% - Future ventures.
Q: Where can I get the client files? A: The "Client" link above will take you to our Github releases page where you can download some precompiled Celestial executables for Mac, Linux, or Windows.
Q: What if I want to compile the client myself? A: The "Client" link above has a source code option or you could just clone the repository associated with the releases page.
Q: How can I make a pool? A: You would not be able to make a pool because Celestial is pool resistant.
Q: I am getting a really low hashrate? A: There are 2 things that could be happening one is that your cpu might not be that powerful or two the network is at a lower part of the difficulty cycle.
Q: I am not finding very many blocks? A: Celestial only allows solo mining which means you will have to find all blocks on your own. This means it will take a bit longer but remember that ASIC's and GPU's are prevented so you will not need as high of a hashrate to find a block as you would with other coins.
Q: Is there somewhere I can buy or sell Celestial? A: I have added a trading channel in the discord. There is a list of escrow agents I recommend but do not endorse also in the discord.
Q: Is there a public node? A: Yes, at the moment there are three. - celc.cnknight.club:18236 - crypto9coin.cf:8236
