Going to buy one Phil?
I don't have any ASIC's currently, but that power draw is nice. I am tempted to buy one, just need to find a coupon

What? No.
USB PCIe risers DO NOT pass power down the riser to the motherboard.
why tf would you power the riser and GPU 12v power from separate PSU's?
It might work fine if the GPU can handle it, but you can clearly have the riser's powered from a different psu.

Phil are you getting rid of anymore mining motherboards?
|
|
|
All 3 GPU's plugged into the mobo?
Likely related to drawing too much power through the PCI slots (Combined draw could be 250+ watts depending on your voltage level for the GPU's)

So I think a Windows update broke ccminer on my Onda D1800.
Out of no where after a freeze and reboot I can't get my 6x 1060 rig mining with ccminer. All kinds of errors, including cpu_aes and some others.
Only thing I could think of was the Meltdown patch maybe borking something with the cpu.
I even completely installed new drivers and no change, ccminer wont work.

you forget other parts on the card that cant handle these temp for a long time without being affect. The cards are built to run @70C, its a fact. Now if you want to go ahead and run them @85C its your business.
Where this 'fact' comes from?. after 70C you get a significant lifespan drop , even mining softwares change the color from green to yellow as soon as a card reach 70C ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Foi63.tinypic.com%2F34nfolz.jpg&t=663&c=wMyWsbTQfw5LYQ) Well the science is settled then. The miner changed the color so 70c is it.

High voltage electricity will use wood as insulators. Not sure why some of ya'll are freaking out about "fire".
Much lower risk of shorting something out using a wood frame as well.
You mean ceramic materials as isolator right? From wiki: "Large power transformer windings are still mostly insulated with paper, wood, varnish, and mineral oil; although these materials have been used for more than 100 years, they still provide a good balance of economy and adequate performance."

Sniffdog was only .005 mBTC/Mh/s which came out to .0021 BTC for 400 MH/s - now according to the profit switcher, ever single coin was always over $45-70/day so MINIMUM earned should have been 0.0031 BTC which it failed miserably.
Cool program and all, but profit switching 100% did not work to increase profits, it actually decreased them by 30%
Which pools were you using, and what switch time? I think the default of 90 seconds is too low, I set mine to 5 minutes. Also limited to only hashrefinary or ahashpool.

poorly thought out design, no place to mount mobo or anything else. that's not a rig frame. at the very least its only a gpu holder at best. good fire starter though since you used wood
Really? Did you know wood is an insulator and is sued in electrical applications because of it? DERP

Hey Phil, do you have anymore of those mining boards not claimed? My Onda D1800 arrived DOA ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Hey Storx, which pools and coins are you profit switching with awesome miner?
I'd like to try that and compare to sniffdog

|

Hey Phil, the Onda D1800 6 slot board uses a DDR3 sodimm, right? Aliexpress doesn't clarify what it uses.
Thanks!

For those mining ETN, what wallet are you using? So far most of the pools require a wallet to be created and there does not seem to be a usable wallet?

Anyone know why nicehash is paying so much for cryptonight?
You can check what they are paying here: https://old.nicehash.com/index.jspUnfortunately their minimum difficulty of 300k (I think) for cryptonight makes it impossible for my small rigs to do anything at any stable hashrate there. I mean, averaged over time the diff should not affect profitability......

For those of you who are not multi algo mining, what are you finding most profitable?

What is the best exchange now for SIGT?
