I agree that the majority of these altcoins will be pretty useless for trading and profiting from - much like the majority of the world's fiat currencies are for the same purposes. And that's ok: right now, they're fun. A cheap, easy way to get into the markets and play. For me, it's fun just watching LOT, DOGE, and the other uber-cheap coins bounce around. I'm OK with the fact that I'll never get rich, but I'm also VERY OK with the fact that I'll never go broke from hardware or electrical costs!

Also, the NoodlyAppendageCoin is pretty much my favorite thing on the internet right now and doesn't even have an exchange yet.
