1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about KuCoin partnerships on: April 30, 2020, 06:01:40 PM
That doesn't mean anything. What are you expecting? Kucoin shares price to be increased? I can't see any important partnership here. All the above list you mentioned are some kinds of news service.

he was actually expecting a rise in token prices considering the multiple partnerships but if that's not enough FA to move the token price , its simply because the partners are pretty much unknown in the crypto world. But that not withstanding, kucoin is a fantastic exchange and among my top 5 best

Hi James,
Any update on the KNC Jupiter refunds from 2013?

Thanks

Just my opinion here, and more for me to move on than for any of you to read..  I've been robbed so many times now that I am now a seasoned bullshyt detector.  I am fairly certain that this was an elaborate scam.  James, I am sorry, but I don't believe one word of what you have written the past 5 years.  You may be a genius con artist or a just an educated person who fumbled his way through this disaster.  My guess is that the miners were probably running the whole time.  I would be happy to take the broken/damaged equipment or whatever is left off your hands.  But I'm sure you have some excuse like you've "thrown them out" by now.  And whatever happened to the membership of SWMC?  That just disappeared.  So, I'm over it, don't bother replying and while I didn't lose alot of btc, I did gain an invaluable ability to avoid clever thieves like yourself.

I hope you're broke..

Thanks for replying.  Nothing worked.  Can't SSH in.  IE and Chrome just hang.  At least it's hashing.  (FYI- This is the no LCD model)

I was able to at least identify the miner using miner operator
http://ecointalk.net/topic/1761-miner-operator/

But that's as far as I can get..

EDIT: SOLUTION
Using the miner operator program above, you can click on your miner and select "view in browser".  While this may actually fail, it will reveal the new IP that your miner is running on.
Using that new IP, strip it down to just the IP (example http://192.168.1.4/lcd/#signin to just http://192.168.1.4/)

The web interface should pop up and you can access the miner settings.

I'm checking into it.  In the meantime, I found a miner manager from blackarrow called Miner operator

http://ecointalk.net/topic/1761-miner-operator/

I'm thinking the software version is out of date.  I'll post here if I have luck with it.  Regardless, it's a nice little program.

Maybe you can help me.  I turned the X3 off for a couple weeks.  When I turned it back on, it's hashing just fine, I can see my stats on the pool site.  However, I can't access the login.  It used to be 192.168.1.60, but now it just hangs saying there is nothing there.  I just want to change the pool settings.

Any advice would be appreciated!

8  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Black Arrow Peospero X-3 Any deeper experience with issues ? on: November 08, 2015, 05:22:32 PM
How about a link to X3 support, or is that not available?
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Black Arrow Peospero X-3 Any deeper experience with issues ? on: November 07, 2015, 02:54:25 PM
Have you had any luck finding an answer to your question??

My X3 is mining just fine, but I can't get into the web console to change pool settings.  IP seems to be alive, and the pool is getting the work.  I tried running an IP scan, and it's not seeing it.  Putty can't access it either.
Any help would be appreciated.

10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Blackarrow X3 Interface/Login Issue on: November 06, 2015, 06:16:46 PM
I need some help..

The default address for the Blackarrow Prospero X3 was http://prospero.blackarrowsoftware.com/  or (https://192.168.1.60/) but now is not working.

How do I access the web interface?  Or, is there another way to access it?

Thanks!!

Excellent news Solar..  I know it's been a painful wait, but so far it seems like every manufacturer has had issues, and I've learned the virtue of patience.
What are your plans on dividing the extra hashing power between the shares?
(Note: I read the news release to to be that the extra unit will come from the third batch, so it's doubtful they arrive together.)

Everyone will get an equal increase in hashing power to match the new total hashrate.  Smiley

Who is this everyone?

Neptune performance upgrade

KnCMiner Offers Two-for-One Deal on Bitcoin Mining’s Most Powerful Machine to Loyal Customers

STOCKHOLM, DATE, 2014 — KnCMiner (https://www.kncminer.com/), the most trusted brand in Bitcoin mining, announced today that it will give every current customer who has an outstanding order for a machine from its Neptune line’s first two batches a free Neptune from its upcoming “third batch” of Neptunes. This represents a $5,995 value and, perhaps more importantly, will provide KnCMiner’s most loyal customers with twice the hashing power they would have otherwise received with just one of these machines.

“We know that it is getting tougher to successfully mine in this environment and we want our customers to have every advantage we can give them,” said KnCMiner CEO Sam Cole. “So to combat the downward trend in mining returns for the customers who have been with us right from the beginning, and to show our competition we mean business, we will be over-delivering again on all orders.”

Neptune is KnCMiner’s first 20nm product. It features a minimum of 3,000 GH/s (aka 3 TH/s) of hashing speed, five times faster than the company’s most recent bestselling miner, the Jupiter. It also boasts a 30 percent reduction in watts-per-GH. Thanks to KnCMiner’s offer, each customer who ordered a first or second batch Neptune, will get a minimum 6TH for each order, with their original 3TH product shipped in June and the free “third batch” machine delivered in August.

“As miners face growing competition, and the increasing difficulty to mine Bitcoin, we will keep working on creative and unorthodox ways to put the best and most loyal customers on the planet first and provide them with the competitive edge they’ve come to expect from KnCMiner,” said Cole.

The company has recently announced other initiatives to engage all form of cryptominers, including the launch of a “Mini Neptune” machine (1500 GH/s, $3,495), and for all those Litecoin and Dogecoin enthusiasts, the availability of scrypt miners—the Titan (300 MH/s, $9,995) and “Mini Titan” (150 MH/s, $5,495). KnCMiner also offers cloud-hosted mining participation to existing customers. To learn more about these products and services, please visit https://www.kncminer.com.

I know, right?

To think, you all could have been mining this whole time with gpus or ants...

What makes you think we aren't?

In the BE, what is the black box on the board right behind the fuse and why would it be "buzzing" or "bizzing".  Now it won't mine, and it has that sound coming out.
Any info would be appreciated.
