1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LTC: cg miner only 1 gpu of dual card working on: December 10, 2013, 06:28:58 PM
Hi,

Ok I think the title says it all. I have a 6870 x2 dual gpu, cg miner shows gpu 0 running at 30 kh/s and gpu 2 mining at 300kh/s.

Previously they have both ran at full speed 600 combined. Not to sure why this is happening but if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

Hi folks,

well as the title says i have an error and i am getting some crazy hash rates. I am new to this but i have spent about a week reading up and googling.

KIT
AMD 6870 x2 Dual GPU (2 GPUs 1 card) (each GPU has
Celeron G530@2.4 ghz
8gb Ram
LT Rabbit pool

When i run CGminer 3.7.2 with no conf and just enter my url, username and password I get a hash rate of 274Mh/s per GPU 539Mh/s total but i get rejected constantly, my worker shows as offline in the LT Rabbit portal.

When i use the LTRabbit download which has a built in bat file to start CGMiner i get accepted, workers show as online but i get a hashrate of 25kh/s per GPU 50kh/s total, clearly well below what i should be getting.

Can anyone help?

yep it will mate at that rate.

It might be true if you have one today. But if you have wait long and many other preorder it as well, it is question if you might make profit

That's a very good point. it really depends upon when you get it and start it mining, time is money!

Such a minefield, all I want to do is buy some kit!

So based upon the figures from a mining calculator.

if I bought this http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/prospero-x-3.html?sl=en
and had 2000mhs then my farming rate would be Coins per 24h at these conditions 1.4218.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct? also would you get the speeds constantly?

why sell the fish when you can eat them lol!!

So I assume that no one out there has a machine that can hash in the TH/s category? If these figures are real then can anyone think of a reason why not to do this other than the price of the bitcoin dropping??

Thanks for all your replys, $8 a day is the electrical cost not the bitcoins generated, the bit coins generated are 5 a day.

Less power costs 1223193.93 USD

Hi.

Looking on this website there is a miner that can mine 7,500,000 Mhash/s its called Xtreme Miners The "Lion". Now I know that people are saying that mining isn't profitable but I cant stop looking at these figures.
is it really as good as it looks?

looking at mining figures I have input I get this:

Coins per 24h at these conditions 5.3319 BTC
Power cost per 24h 8.10 USD
Revenue per day 4254.78 USD
Less power costs 4246.68 USD
System efficiency 3333.33 MH/s/W
Mining Factor 100 at the end of the time frame 0.03 USD/24h@100MHash/s
Average Mining Factor 100 0.04 USD/24h@100MHash/s
Power cost per time frame 2958.53 USD
Revenue per time frame 1226152.46 USD
Less power costs 1223193.93 USD

Good news and bad news. I found my coins! Block chain!
Bad news is I didn't have as much as I thought! Got 0.75btc. Sill only paid about £10 so it's a considerable profit!

That leads me on to my next question... To turn it in to GBP can anyone recommend a website for me to visit to research to make sure I get the best possible deal?

Hi. In December 2012 I registered to join a website that no longer exists. The site charged 1 bitcoin for membership.

I had no idea at he time what a bitcoin was! Anyway I made my way through the purchase and bought a few coins, maybe 3 or 5 I can't remember.

How can I track down these coins? I can't remember where I bought them or anything!!

Help!
