I wouldnt mind doing a promotional video. what kind of video would you like? I was thinking a video on how to get digibytes, then how to store them at home, and on person via the app, then maybe how to spend them. Is this what your thinking?

Maybe have a open thread/contest where others can submit, and we all vote on what one we like.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Accepting Bitcoin as a donation for Non-Profits on: January 09, 2014, 07:37:52 AM
Hello, my name is Vince.

I was wondering if someone could help us out.

I wanted to know if there was a place here on the forum where I could post a topic requesting help from the bitcoin community to help us raise donations for our non-profit and not have it be deleted. I would like to point out that this is not a scam and would prove our legality with any admin, or moderator for the specific channel/discussion board.

I love how easy bitcoin is to make transfers, and fees not being taken from us, definitely fits with our campaign drives. Paypal and services like these always take a cut, even if its a donation, which I think is wrong. Bitcoin is what we want to use. We have wallets set up, and now we just need to advertise and post. But I want to do it right and not just post in the wrong areas and cause an uproar.

Please help me out, and I would love to chat with the admins, and moderators if they would be gracious enough to get me moving forward with this.

Thanks a lot, in advanced.

I like alt-coins, they are fun to be part of sometimes. Especially if you started with the launches. I know it was fun with feathercoin, worldcoin, primecoin, and etc..... Now its Doge, and the DOGE copiers I assume that are going to be the " new " thing. So many people are like wow, a joke coin that went mainstream, and now there are so many joke coins and other meme coins. This is going to make alt-coins look like a joke and soon we will have 500-1000 alt coins. I think at some point the reputable exchanges are just going to stop taking in so much crap. Just my thought. However I do check on new coins everyday or atleast once a week, to point my cards at them for a little while, so I have a full portfolio. Just incase in a year or two, one of them takes on corporate sponsorship.

I really enjoy coinbase's services. I have purchased over 50 BTC so far without a problem. I like their new instant coin service which helps me beat the ups and downs.

The reason I got into coins, was that I heard of the Silk Road. A long time ago! As bad as it sounds I am sure that the site also brought many into what bitcoins were and how they were used. Even though I never went to the site or used it, it opened my eyes to this technology. For a little over a year I have been trading coins, and mining here and there. I also like to help out others who need help trying to configure their machines as I know it takes hours and patience to do so.
