IT WORKED!

The 1000 Watt PC PSU arrived. Did the Paperclip Trick.
I ghetto mounted the first Blade via the green connector at the top, as described in Dogie's Guide and... IT WORKED!

Either the PSU or the Backpane is severely broken on delivery. I think the Backpane. Will use it as static Blade holder now. At least it has ONE purpuse Cheesy

Selling the PSU, doesnt work with the Backpane so... whatever it works !

Thanks for your tips, greatly appreciated Smiley

I will get a Multimeter in the local stores, might be costing more but hey ... dont want to wait any longer.

I have tried all possible combinations:

PC <=> Blade
PC <=> Switch <=> Blade
PC <=> Router <=> Switch <=> Blade

none of them made the Blade "wake up" on LAN.

In 1-2 days the MOLEX Splitters and the PCI-E cables will be delivered.
Will connect them like the Pictures say in Dogie's guide of the Blades.

Never had this porblem in my life, this is kinda weird.

I sadly have no multimeter at hand.

The only thing that I can say is that:

The PSU is getting warm
The Blades blink green 3-4x every 30~60 seconds.

I cannot connect the Blade via the green connectors until the PCI-E Extenders come via mail, which should be in 1-2 days latest.

but... Where to check the Voltages anyways?

yep it was factory sealed, bought it of a german reseller on Ebay (no private one).

I already tried a factory reset several times without any sign of change.

The RJ45 Jacks... Do you mean the Cables or the Sockets on the Blades themselves?

Both of these are not loose. I even tried my old ~20 meter cable which worked perfectly until 1 week ago, but nothing changed.

[edit] added some pictures of the setup (2 blades lay nearby, off screen) [/edit]

The RJ45 (LAN Cable) is plugged in correctly.

When I plug the cables of both the PC and the Blade into the switch, the Blade LAN Port still wont light up.

The router IP is 192.168.1.1 with its Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / [SOLVED]Asicminer Blade 2.0 LAN Connection problem on: December 03, 2013, 03:08:59 PM
Hello, I have a problem with my Brand-new Asicminers.

I have set up 20 USB Block eruptors (333 MH/s before, but this is truly another story...)

Setup:

- PSU for Packpane: HP ATSN 7001044-Y000 Rev: E  1000Watt
- Alternative PSU: LCPower 1000W 80PlusGold certified
- 5 Blades
- Backpane
- Switch (TP-Link 8Port TLSG1008D)
- Router (Fritz Box 6340)
- Future Proxy: Raspberry Pi (fully working when plugged in)

The Problem is that I cannot find the Blades on the network.
If I connect the Blade to the Router, it does not recieve any IP (The yellow Connected-LED does not light up at all).
Neither does the Blade get any IP when I put the cable into the Router, nor directly to my PC.

Router IP: 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.254
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0

This is my first Blade ever.
All the 5 Blades were new and have the same problem.
So it cant be a manufacturing issue.

The Blades only react with blinking of the green LED, every 30~60 seconds, 4x.

Anyone in here who can help me getting out of this mess?

PS: sorry for some incorrect words. Its not my first language.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/te2nzgx9tfzdpt9/Router%20IPs.jpg

Greets, Gunngir
