1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BETARIGS.COM - Cryptocurrency cloud mining - 1500+ rigs online to rent! on: March 19, 2014, 11:00:14 AM
I think it is totally unnecessary limitation that you are hidding rigs that hash below 1MH/s. It's annoying even for me but i'm only checking for rigs because you have to turn on "<1mhs" bottom over and over again (variable is not set in url).  Every rig shoud be visible and renters sould select filter that they wish! If you will not change this i'm moving rig out of betarigs to leaserig.net And they even pay more....
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BETARIGS.COM - Cryptocurrency cloud mining - 1500+ rigs online to rent! on: March 07, 2014, 05:02:22 PM
Renting is really cheap at the moment but i think it is still profitable for leaser. I've just rented my small rig with 760kh/s for 7 days for 0.0084 BTC/day. Very cheap but this is still 0.25LTC per day. If i would mine at give-me-coins i would probably mine about 0.15-0.2LTC per day. Lousy profit since i've paid almost 900EUR for the rig and now you can rent it for so cheap but i dont have time to mine alts... any alternatives?

i think that renting is so cheap atm because mining is not so profitalbe for renter neather. Prices for alts are going down and more and more LTC script ASIC miners appearing so the difficulty is rising and GPU mining is less and less profitable, unfortunately  Sad

Most of new guys (new to Betarigs) are missing an important point: the current demand for scrypt miners sits at 1.6-18Gh/s for many days now. All renters that are paying today 0.008BTC/M/day were happily renting a few days ago at 0.012-0.015BTC/day.

By lowering the price, you just devalue yourself, while you're not increasing the demand. In other words, if it weren't for newcomers who position themselves on price alone, more of us would be renting out our rigs. So your logic that you are making more at betarigs than somewhere else is a bit flawed, because you could be making even more here if you priced it higher.

Don't get me wrong, I'm seeing this kind of behaviour every day, but in real life you have the choice to either deal with a cheap amateur, or with a professional. Betarigs as a marketplace is unable to effectively provide that distinction.

Just for the reference, one of my rigs was rented for over 500 hours at the Betarigs - but not at current prices.

I agree, they were happily renting few days ago at 0.012-0.015BTC/day BUT the demand stayed the same while new leasers where coming and coming so it is logical that the price will go down. That's how the market works, i quess  Tongue

Create wallet via https://mcxnow.com/

I don't want no fucking online wallet. I want an ordinary QT client - like all the others coins have.

Why are the Maxcoin devs too stupid to create one?

they premined lot of this shit coin than dumped it and changed it to fiat... now they are on bahamas and don't give a fuck about some stupid wallet, lol

they are buying new houses, bmw, ferrari...
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 10, 2014, 08:58:36 AM
lol at this thread :p

lol at this coin.

goes to show how hype gets even the shittiest of coins and their launches to exchanges/coin lists.

This is just ridiculous.

Hope this coin has a fast and brutal death, with everyone who was dumb enough to buy/invest in it.

50% of what i mine i immediately convert to BTC and i get approximately  the same as i would get if i've rented my rig. 50% of coins i keep and hope the price will rise. atm this coin is very profitable  Wink

This job is just stupid. I still have some coins left, but I don't want to waste time on scanning this thread anymore. I will send all my maxcoins to any random guy who wants to continue giving away 1 maxcoin per first post per page.
The only requirements are that his ignore must not be yellow, and his first post on this forum must date back to year 2011, and his trust must be zero or greater. Send a link to that post from year 2011 in a PM.

If this guy will steal those coins, then at least we have wasted some worthless coins to discover another scammer.

Don't sent me any other stupid PMs.

MaxCoin ‏@maxcoinproject  11 min
For anybody still using the command-line wallet on Windows, the graphical wallet is available at http://maxcoin.co.uk

MaxCoin ‏@maxcoinproject  12 min
@polarmatrix @stacyherbert @maxkeiser the graphical wallet for Windows was released last night. You can find it at http://maxcoin.co.uk
You have to be fucking joking right?  This is the same file as before as before as before maxcoind.exe like I and many others have said before WHERES THE QT!?

dude i have posted earlier in this thread.

here is the QT,
I will not click your link and I already tried the one they announced on twitter so i'm pretty sure you're full of shit

Do you have Down Syndrome? If you spent half the time reading the github page that you spent on your whining posts you would have found the QT wallet long ago. And telling the guy he is full of shit when he is taking the time to give you the link you should have found on your own makes it even worse.

There are retards among us. You cannot do anything about it except to ignore them...

where is the fucking maxcoin-qt ? This coin gets the best FAIL LAUNCH AWARD of 2014

https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients/releases/tag/1.0
STOP posting this stupid fucking link it is not a qt it is a command prompt that doesn't work because you need to configure it to work but that can only be done when its running and it wont run unless it's configured!

Yesterday i've downloaded it from there and IT IS WORKING! i don't know if they deleted some files or what but there should me cpu miner + maxcoin-qt! (BOTH!)
