1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex. What happen? on: December 05, 2017, 03:47:38 AM
I had a 'Legacy' type account on Bittrex (more than 18 months old) which effectively had a limitless daily withdrawal limit. I never had any withdrawal problems in the past and used to deposit and withdraw substantial amounts of btc without any hassles. Recently I deposited btc to trade alts and when i tried to withdraw i discovered that my account type had been changed from 'Legacy' to 'New' and that i now had a ZERO (0) withdrawal limit! Note that at the time I made these crypto deposits (over the last couple of months) there was NO WARNING whatsover that my account type had been changed to New and that I now had ZERO withdrawal capability! (Due to the outcry about this disgusting deceitful behaviour I see Bittrex NOW has a warning once logged in that says you cannot withdraw anything due to being 'unverified'... TOO LATE to put that notice up now!! It should have been put up there the second they changed my withdrawal limit to zero and my account type to New so that i could back then decide for myself whether i still wanted to deposit funds knowing i would then need to give up my privacy and get 'verified'.  These scumbags took that choice away from me and are now holding my funds hostage to extort me for my personal information!
This is totally unacceptable and is nothing short of entrapment and plain theft.

I figured i'd do Basic Verification but this did not work - no surprises there after researching the problem and found that NOBODY is getting it right to complete Basic Authentication anymore... so Basic Authentication is a joke! in fact it's just a trap that Bittrex has laid out in which they use the info you input into Basic Verification against you after they purposefully fail it and then coerce you into doing Advanced Verification ... and then if there is ANY mismatch between the info you entered in Basic compared to Advanced then you are screwed and it can take months (if you're lucky) to get Bittrex Support to manually verify you. Note that there is no option to review your Basic verification info or update it afterwards ... this is by design to trap you into a position whereby you upload all your docs for Advanced verification but get this failed anyway due to some mismatch (no matter how trivial) so still no withdrawal ability even although you have uploaded more than enough personal info to allow identity theft. Do you trust Bittrex with your personal ID documents when this is how they operate??

I refuse to give in to this extortion by Bittrex and am not prepared to do Advanced Verification due to the shady way they went about entrapping me (no warning) into depositing crypto all the while changing my account type and withdrawal limits to zero stealthily without my knowledge! This is the lowest of low i have ever encountered - not even Poloniex pulled this kind of devious sh1t!
I opened a Support ticket regarding this but get no response.
i'll be joining the class action against Bittrex for sure due to their unacceptable shady behaviour and their use of my deposited funds to extort all my personal ID info from me against my will!

If there are any decent human beings left at Bittrex then please respond to my ticket # 484175

For those selfish, short sighted ignoramuses out there still singing the praises of Poloniex because they personally have not yet been affected by Poloniex's arbitrary withdrawal delay tactics - hopefully you'll be next!

For the rest of the community out there who are outraged at Poloniex's brazen withdrawal delay tactics - I hope you get all your money out before they (Poloniex) freeze ALL withdrawals!

Below is a snippet of the latest troll box feed highlighting all the users who are being f..cked around by Poloniex ... having their withdrawals effectively blocked via their innovative status called  "awaiting approval" - which of late simply means "f.ck you and your withdrawal" ... the withdrawal will stay stuck in this status for 72 hours and longer and will eventually be deleted!
Very few of these withdrawals "awaiting approval" have actually been manually approved during the past two weeks at least from my personal experience as well as what i'm reading all over the internet!
This is the case even when these users log tickets with their underwhelming support team. Tickets are ignored for 72 hours all the way up to 2 weeks and even more!

And for the minority of users with this issue who actually do eventually get their withdrawals manually approved by the lame support at Poloniex there is unfortunately an identical horror story awaiting them for their next withdrawal attempt... their next withdrawal will again be delayed into "awaiting approval" status for their next withdrawal attempt!
Seems as though once an account has been flagged for this kind of harassment it continues indefinitely and effectively their accounts will permanently have to endure their painfully slow manual withdrawal method instead of the automated withdrawal method which is the default.

As a result these users (mostly on level 1) are no longer able to withdraw 2k worth of funds per day (as advertised) but are relegated to withdrawing up to 2k worth at a time but every such withdrawal now becomes an arduous manual process by Poloniex's inept understaffed "approvals" team and takes anything from 72 hours (if they are lucky) to over 2 weeks to be approved (depending on whether or not you raise a ticket for each such withdrawal).
Thus as you can appreciate - all these users whose accounts have been flagged to be harassed for manual withdrawals are now effectively reduced to withdrawing 2k worth of coins per 2 weeks!
How long would it take such a user to withdraw 50 btc from his account? yes - TWO YEARS!!!  and THIS is exactly what Poloniex wants... to misuse AML and security concerns to effectively hold a large percentage of users' coins semi-permanent hostage!

If you dont believe me - have a look at this thread -it's a feed from Poloniex's troll box where desperate users are very politely trying to get assistance with all these withdrawal issues which Poloniex itself CREATED!!

http://rorobo.com/poloniex/search_chat.php?q=withdrawal

The bolded bit - that's down to normal security precautions. If you have been messing around using VPN's and whatnot, they HAVE to put in delays because they have no idea whether the next time there is going to be a genuine problem, and guess what, if there is, they'll be the ones blamed.

If you don't like Poloniex, use another exchange!!! There are loads of other exchanges out there, pick one, stop all piling into Polo and then moaning.

So you call that "normal security precautions"?!?  Bullsh1t!!  You're nothing but a Poloniex shrill - probably a sockpuppet working for Poloniex. Otherwise u must be a total duma$$ ret@rd!
No other exchanges have such thieving so-called "security precautions"! Security precaution my ass!!
Poloniex are nothing but a bunch of thieving scumbags! And everybody working there is complicit in this! From the troll box moderators spouting their drone-like copy and paste lies typically like "your withdrawal is confirmed, but awaiting approval, it can take up to 24 hours for support to review and process your withdrawal" - right up to their owner!!  HORSESH1T!!!  My withdrawal and most others have been "awaiting approval" now for nearly a week or even longer - and that's with a ticket logged for the same issue and remaining unsolved/ignored for same period!
So to Poloniex shills like yourself - f.ck you and your thief-enabling lies to try to cover up for the biggest bunch of thieves in crypto today - Poloniex exchange!!

There is NO f.king excuse for these barstads to take a week or longer to respond to tickets for "withdrawals awaiting approval" - no f.cking excuse whatsoever!!

As for your half baked drone-like slogan:
If you don't like Poloniex, use another exchange!!! There are loads of other exchanges out there, pick one, stop all piling into Polo and then moaning.
[/quote]

I WILL be using other exchanges but i also wont stand for MY COINS (which i deposited into my Poloniex account and them welcoming it with open arms and no delay tactics) being stolen by these thieving barstads either!

So f.ck you and f.ck Poloniex!!

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 12, 2017, 09:47:58 AM
I am not a new user in Polo, but they are definitely up to something. Cry
Recently I asked for 2k withdraws (BTC) & I am waiting for days now to get them out.
Support tickets are being ignored.
I have had some issues in the past & support was always fast enough to react, but now it's a different story altogether.
I am worried about Polo as I keep quite a lot of BTC there to trade, hope it's temporary, but got a bad feeling... Embarrassed

I agree wholeheartedly!

Poloniex is the only alt-exchange which has a ridiculously low default level withdrawal limit of 2k per day - which is barely enough to withdraw 1 bitcoin per day!
And then on top of that arbitrary limit of 2k per day they now have the cheek to delay many users with their "Awaiting Approval" BS! As far as i'm concerned its all part of a scam they're running... a fractional reserve scam which counts on a large percentage of their customer base to be unable to withdraw their coins from the exchange - thereby allowing the exchange to do what they will with these customers' coins! (one can only imagine what they are up to with them)

2k per day withdrawal limit is a snail paced trickle pace for many traders on Poloniex... and it seems as if they are now no longer satisfied with this ridiculous 2k per day withdrawal limit and so now they're finding other creative ways to further delay people getting their coins off the exchange!  this ridiculous situation whereby they are arbitrarily targeting certain customers for BS reasons and holding up their withdrawals in manual checks which often take up to 72 hours - or like in my case - were never even approved!
so for these victimised customers Poloniex has managed to slow their withdrawal rate down to about 1 btc (2k worth) every 72 hours!! that's about 1/3 of a bitcoin on average per day which these customers are able to withdraw! Congratulations Poloniex!!

They are a bunch of manipulative crooks! and they WILL go belly up ... make my words!

Only a crooked company up to no good would use these kinds of manipulations to hold onto customers coins at all costs and then blame it on AML and other BS!!

No other alt-coin exchanges have any of these bullshit limits on withdrawals! Poloniex deserves to go down for this!!

F.ck Poloniex!!
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex bitcoin withdrawal issues? on: May 10, 2017, 11:09:17 PM
I also have a withdrawal that is stuck in "awaiting approval" mode ... whatever the hell that's supposed to mean!?  Its been nearly 48 hours already with no response and i have also had absolutely no response to the ticket i lodged about it.

And being understaffed is no excuse at all.... Hire more staff if you can't handle backlogs. Traders being unable to access their money or trades for days (or even weeks) on end is pure bullshit!!
These kinds of issues are causing me to believe the rumours out there that there's something seriously wrong at Poloniex and that perhaps they are running a fractional reserve system.
I've seen top crypto traders say things like "If you haven't already done so, pull your money off @Poloniex asap. They've stopped responding to support tickets."

My experience with them and others mentioned here certainly seem to lend creedance to these comments.

IF and when Poloniex support sorts out my withdrawal i will certainly come back here and give them credit for that but until then i remain a skeptic.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 10, 2017, 11:04:33 PM
The above case is shocking and extremely disconcerting to say the least!

There is NO excuse for Poloniex to ignore this user for such a length of time (or any other user for that matter) when clearly a support ticket has been raised!

And being understaffed is no excuse at all.... Hire more staff if you can't handle backlogs. Traders being unable to access their money or trades for over a week is pure bullshit!!

Personally I also have a withdrawal that is stuck in "awaiting approval" mode ... whatever the hell that's supposed to mean!?  Its been nearly 48 hours already with no response and i have also had absolutely no response to the ticket i lodged about it.

Does anyone know if ICN dividends will be received directly into myetherwallet ? I keep my ICN in myetherwallet.

DD
Yes it does, Even If you want for leaving your coin in there, you will get a definite thing for receiving your dividend. But never hold your token in the exchange wallet. or you will never get a dividend for that. You can read more about it at ICONOMI whitepaper or watch his AMA yesterday.
This already clear with the team statement.

Let's assume I have created an etherium wallet using myetherwallet....
I'm guessing this works much the same as a bitcoin wallet in that my wallet is comprised of unique etherium wallet addresses.
I have a number of questions around this subject which I'm hoping some of you can answer in a way I can easily understand it.

1. Let's assume I wanted to transfer some ICN coins/tokens either from my wallet on the iconomi site, or from my wallet on Kraken to myetheriumwallet ...
Obviously the myetheriumwallet was designed to hold etherium coins. So now i am going to send ICN tokens to an address in this wallet- which was actually designed to hold etherium...
So how does the wallet "know" after the transfer has been done (and hopefully succeded) that the coins/units held in that partticular wallet address is in fact ICN and not etherium?
2. Assuming that there is some built in mechanism with which the myetheriumwallet can distinguish whether an address contains etherium or ICN ...
what happens if i send say 1000 ICN to an address in the wallet and then after that i send 1000 etherium coins to that same wallet address?
What will the contents of that wallet address now contain/show?
(I'm assuming one should NEVER do this in practise - just asking in order to try to get a greater understanding of the wallets and the relation between etherium and ICN)
3. Assuming I now have successfully transferred 1000 ICN to an address in myetheriumwallet ... either from my wallet on iconomi site OR from my account on Kraken where i bought the ICN ...
3.1 How exactly does the "system" know about the existance of these 1000 ICN in order to send dividends in the form of etherium coins and how does the system know where to locate these 1000 ICN?
[i'm assuming its due to the etherium blockchain where all movements of ICN coins can be traced and the whereabouts (wallet addresses) of all ICN coins are known at all times.  But i have to ask to make sure my assumption is correct]
3.2 Assuming the iconomi "system" does in fact track down these 1000 ICN sitting in myetheriumwallet... how exactly will the etherium dividend be paid out to me?
3.3 Let's assume the dividend (for arguments sake) is 5 etherium coins for the 1000 ICN situated in a particular wallet address in myetheriumwallet...
We already know that one cannot mix ICN and etherium in the same wallet address, and so my question is where will the dividend of 5 etherium coins be sent to??

Thanking you guys in advance for clearing up this for me with your answers and input.

Can't say anything......

Interesting.....

no, expected. that's the reason of NDA's.  Roll Eyes

Let me spell it out for you then....

Poloniex is obviously waiting for dividends to be paid out and then they going to pump that shit to the moon.....

could have said " we don't have any plans yet" or "NO"... but that statement means they have and they can't say anything. I'll bet my right nut it will soon be on polo. lol

I hope - for your sake then - that you have an above average left nut!

Well of course they can't say anything... they cant admit that they're leaving it on Kraken to keep the price artificially depressed now can they?!?

c-cex , bittrex , polo  soon???

yes. Polo starts on 31Nov
Who told you about this date?

Where do I talk in your name LOL.  Huh Huh

Also don't worry, it will get eventually on Polo, they just want to avoid Trollbox FUD scenarios I guess.

When you say "ICN doesn't need to be on Polo" you are basically talking in my name too, as I also own ICN ...
Of course it will go on polo in the end, after the whales (and probably Polo) will have bought enough cheap ICN so they can dump them and make a big profit.

I wish that people start to forget about polo.

People are needy, and being needy is not an advantage.
Every thread is the same.. Omg it will go to the sky when polo adds it, omg don't forget to make a request to polo.

As if they need you to know what a decent coin is, as if they live in a cavern and don't follow the crypto business at all, with their crazy monthly profits.

That is so silly. That poloniex formular is simply a joke, from the long past when polo was a little exchange probably and if not, it's still a joke.

If you knew anything about trading altcoins you'd know that Poloniex is BY FAR the best exhange in the world!
Your'e obviously NOT a trader... so stop talking rubbish.
Your ignorance on the topic is nausiating...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 15, 2016, 09:51:18 PM
Polo has so many shit coins, why you want ICN on it?

Why I want ICN on it? The question is why not? What bad thing could happen if ICN would be listed there? These are the questions ... not you try and find a decent answer Wink

Easy answer - ICN will be another coin to play with for the big whales just like any other shitcoin there.
Price won't represent the REAL value of Iconomi, but some close-group heavy traders short price manipulations.

What an utter load of hogwash!!   lol

Are u really that stupid??
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 15, 2016, 09:44:58 PM
so you are saying that someone is preventing polo from listing ICN?

Noooo ... Polo decided after a really serious meeting to list all the shitcoins ... but took the drastic decision not to list ICN ... the devs tryed their best, asked Polo to list it ... but those suns of bitches from Polo just said no ... use your brain please

The butthurt is strong with this one

The truth does hurt apparently   lol
I guess you're just as delusional as Daparski!

I wouldn't call in "anything but words".
But maybe it's just me, time will tell.

Not just words ... there were some pictures also and today the biggest news ever .. a 5000 ETH investment ... to the moon ...
I tell you, these guys here really think everyone around is retarded !
Its just speculation, but in a controlled way (that is why the ICN its just on Kraken ... a big whale is pumping now the price, silly people will jump in to buy high (because of course ICN to the moon), then the whales will just buy back cheap in a few weeks. That would be harder to do on Polo as there are way more investors so you cannot really control things.

so you are saying that someone is preventing polo from listing ICN?

That's correct yes. Pretty obvious actually.

I couldn't agree more!

Gotta love the gem of an answer on the subject @ the AMA a short while ago...
Q:
Could we get some information about the NDA for the exchanges? What was the reason for this? Why was it decided to just list on Kraken as the main exchange from the start and not on other ones?
A:
NDAs require from us not to comment on our relationships with the exchanges. The listing of ICN is purely the exchange’s decision. Kraken is one of the exchanges that decided to list us for the time being.

What a croc!

So they have ensured a deadlock situation because we would logically like - for the purposes of trading - for ICN to be listed on poloniex and bittrex, but the ICN dev team refuses to approach these two exchanges about it. yet these two exchangee REQUIRE the development team to approach them before they will consider listing the coin...

So i guess we'll have to do without it on the two main exchanges til thy kingdom come.  lol

Can I deposit ICN on my ico.iconomi account after I made a withdrawal to deposit in an exchange.

Not yet... soon.

Quote
And what about other exchanges like bittrex or poloniex, will you guys try to list ICONOMI there too?

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!! My head hurts.  Roll Eyes

Why? When does polo add ICN?  Cheesy

Only after all the insiders have picked up as many cheap coins as they can get their greedy hands on through the artifically low prices on illiquid Kraken!

Then and only then will they unleash ICN onto Poloniex so that it may reach its TRUE POTENTIAL price...
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 12, 2016, 11:54:43 PM
Iconomi and Xaurum at 22 and 23 rank on coinmarketcap, both with some common team members, good job!

The problem with most people that invested into ICONOMI is that they don't even understand the project, the rank or position on the coinmarketcap is nothing. The main thing is to put pressure on the team to walk the talk, once the platform is working and the next fund been raised, ICN will reach the the moon

why do you need to put pressure on the team? Can you point at a single deadline or a milestone that they haven't met?

yes - they have neglected their duty to have ICN listed with high volume reputable altcoin exchanges ... in particular Poloniex and Bittrex!
In so doing they have directly caused the ICN price to fall to below its IPO price due to the pathetic volume on Kraken.

And before any of you start disparaging those of us who may wish to actively TRADE ICN token - don't even bother! It just highlights your ignorance.
The trading price of ICN on a HIGH VOLUME exchange would directly reflect the excellent fundamentals and dividend yielding potential of iconomi!
This is NOT true on the LOW VOLUME Kraken exchange where it currently can be traded.

The only plausible reason for the status quo is (as mentioned previously by other not so blind people on here) for insiders to profit by buying up ICN tokens on the cheap! This transparent but deliberate downward manipulation of the ICN price is something they should be ashamed of!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 11, 2016, 08:47:09 AM
I see that the price hasn't changed much since like forever Cheesy I think Iconomi should launch an ad campaign at least spending 100 btc to spread the word even more.
Price of ICN doesn't actually matter, thing that matters is how LARGE the dividends are.

Actually both the dividends and the icn price matter to a lot of us who wish to trade icn.  And to trade icn one requires an exchange which will attract volume!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 11, 2016, 07:10:23 AM
Currently, Volume of exchanges is only around 52 btc. Maybe Polo us waiting to see an increase in volume and then will list icn.
For Polo, Trade volume of 52 btc would be small.

Volume would increase as-
When ICN P and ICNX funds are launched, the demand of icn would increase, thus higher prices got icn. When prices would be higher, many will sell the icn. So trade volume is expected to increase in January.
I believe, if the reader volume exceeds 200 btc then it would definitely be listed on Polo'.

After all, Polo wants profits. If it starts trading now, it would earn less than 0.15 btc a day - very small amount for Polo.

If iconomi team said they have NDAs, then they have. I trust them.
If NDA was with a small exchange, then the exchange would have launched trading much earlier. Small exchanges normally launch trading earlier to earn small profits.
So it must be a NDA with a big exchange, looking for the best time to launch trading

With all due respect but this sounds like utter nonsense. Very naive indeed...
