The requirement to pass the KYC (know-your-customer) test from the ICO companies is really a big problem both for investors in ICO campaigns and start-ups.
Some people (contributors) don't like to leave personal information to start-ups. What about you?
Would you participate in ICO if you like the project but your personal info is required? Please vote.
This poll will help ICOs to decide what should they do with this issue: apply KYC/AML and get lower rate of contributors or don't apply and get more contributors.
P.S. those who vote "No" should know that application of KYC/AML will help the project to avoid legal issues in the future and as a result increase token price (or at least not decrease it).
Yes, do not store personal data on such projects. All the more if they want my personal information, canvassed give 100$, roughly so much are worth on the black market? xD |

As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Choose intuitively what you like. Look closely, read the comments. Personally, I never enter the ICO on the first day, and 2-3 weeks watching.

Hello everybody, I know mostly people here know what they need to do before investing in any ico but there are still many people ask the same question in different thread specially newbie. They get the answer but in several post which maybe make them a little confusing. I am not an expert but i could put what i know here. All i know is from reading here in the forum. Well just start, everything you need to research and make sure before investing in ico project wheater the ico has : * working product * Unique or good idea/solution for existing problem or future problem. * Strong team behind the project * Strong planning and marketing ability * Partnerships with reputed company * good whitepaper and roadmap too * experience advisor Edited : * make sure the idea is different with the exist ico or the old project * check the supply of the token because it cause the price run From all mention above, i have 1 thing that is most important in my opinion. That is ico should have working product because working product can lead the ico would be success ( not 100% success but mostly success ). 3 - How developed is the technology?
4 - Who comprises the Team and Advisory board?

What should I do to participate in the ICO?
Very responsible approach to the selection of the project.
To study all possible information on the project.
To communicate with other potential investors at the forums, where information on the project is published.
If knowledge is allowed, then study the project code and its business model.
Assess the risks of investing.
Check for:
- Realistic goals
- Good tech
- Good trustworthy, preferably known dev team
The existing product note is important because we can see a lot of projects which did raise a lot of funds but after that their token price is dropping like boobs with age.
I agree on OPs list but i would like to add some more.
1) Idea explanation. It is very important that the project can explain their idea in simple way. If they cannot do it ,they are over complicating things which is one of the reasons why startups fail or they just dont care about the idea and project. KEEP IT Stupid simple.
2) Look for their attitude towards details and graphic design in their project webpage, telegram , bounty and ann thread. it does show that they care about their project.
3) Country. I dont want to induce nationalist discussion. But country / region matters. Economy and regulations differ in regions.
4) In some cases projects already have raised some momey in different way which could be a good indicator . For example IcoPass has managed to attract money from " Horizon 2020" which is not a easy thing to do. In most cases this one will be similar to " existing product" criteria .
Useful information, I think that it would be necessary to fix it, so any stupid questions do not flood in other very different topics and were asked what the ICO when, why, how ... |

I am holding eth at the moment because I believe in it. I know that its price will recover that is why I'm not trading it yet. I am planning to buy more eth because I really support it and I'm not losing my hope in it.

Well, there are 2 ways, either to invest somewhere, if for example there are good offers and ICO, or go to the dollar and choose another cryptocurrency, for example Monero or Dash

i invested in 3 ico but they all make me uprooted.

and i think this ico causes bitcoin and etherium prices to drop.never trust again to ico.
I think you're just unlucky. A thorough approach is needed in this regard. For example, I also invested in ICO I was told 3 months after the launch, my tokens will be sent, but will be sent every month in parts within 10 months. They of course now are falling in price, but all same...by the end of the year, they'll be worth a lot of money. |

Too many people are constantly talking about the death of the vast majority of course many altcoins will fail and die but most of them will continue to grow. Many project have a longterm road map and they work sincerely and the best projects on the market will be permanent, this is normal.
Here I agree there are altcoins which are a lot which already use and there are which use will be even more than soon, and the rest just will not go up more that's all. |

I'm Hoeda From Indonesian. I just tried to join today.
First I saw the enthusiasm of my friends in the village who had already mined bitcoin. About 3 years ago, my friend once invited me to join him.

Столько хороших новостей по Dent выходит, а его льют как не в себя, уже неделю вниз вообще без отскоков. Уже даже засомневался входить ли обратно по 150 сатош или ещё ниже ловить его.
Без отлива нет прилива. Например на корейских биржах курс всегда плавает. Люди делают деньги. Проект еще себя покажет. Здесь только ждать стабилизации рынка и отработки новостей марта и апреля. К лету будет очень интересно и в плане масштабов и в плане цены. Пока только холд и закупка. Судя по последним новостям надо закупаться, тем боле не думаю, что будут еще серьезные просадки, тем более если даже не в холд то на денте можно играть и на коротких дистанциях. а какие там последние новости?я так понимаю какие-то хорошие?кстате на счет просадок-сейчас в идимо иза битка дент менее 2х центов торгуется надо ждать дно не стоит пока в нее входить слишком большие просадки, пока ждем и ждем у кого хватит выдержки сидеть и смотреть как все падает и взять на развороте, тот и будет 2018 в шоколаде. |
