1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to rent CPU power. on: April 27, 2020, 07:40:00 PM
I have been using this custom miner and pool with my Ryzens on HiveOS for 4 days now and been happy with the rewards. They are paid in ETH and are around 80-90 % more than pure XMR mining so it seems legit so far. Setting it all up was easy and communication has been top notch on discord.

I bought this bot in the early stages last year straight from Gunthar, but haven't been using it for a long time now. I tried to download the new version but my API keys don't work with it. How to fix this? The old version that I have works fine, but it's an old one without GUI and stuff.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcore - BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - CORE 0.14.1 -431110+ BTX Claimed on: September 23, 2017, 11:36:39 PM
My thoughts about BTX:

1. The airdrop rewards are a big part of the projects interest (probably largest at the moment) and should be continued. I think the original plan would have just been a dumpfest and kill most of the interest in the project because there would be no more drops and no proper future plans introduced yet. This is why I think none of the premine funds should be burned or thrown around in massive quantities without a good reason. On the other hand I think the premine should be distributed fairly quickly because It's not good that a few people control such a huge part of the coins economy. I think now it's critical to start making plans and development for the project before the distribution is finished, else the coin will lose interest. The fast transactions and blockchain capability is all good but no use alone.

2. Simply extend the BTC to BTX claiming period until there are no more premine coins left. There should be enough time to claim for everyone who is interested and the rest can just buy the coins afterwards. I don't see the point in taking a new snapshot, you will just give more to the ones who have already claimed and the possible new members of the community will get a sliced reward. Also the old snapshot way is better because all the coins would be eventually distributed to the parties who have some interest in the project and not "lost" for no reason.

3. To speed up the distribution without affecting the price negatively too much there could be a bonus program for the holders. For example:
- Create a dedicated "holding" address where you deposit BTX.
- Register that address as you would anyway with this new October method.
- First week you get 3 %. If you don't touch the BTX wallet, on the second week you will get 6 %, then 9 % and after a month it would be maxed at 12 %. The percentages can be thought out/calculated properly (no withdraws or deposits allowed except the drops, this is important so people don't create 100 small value "hold" addresses and deposit large sum to claim max bonus whenever they want it).
- If you touch this address you will be excluded from the bonus and only get the 3% going forward.
- If you want to go for the bonus again you would create a new untouched address and register it.
- No need to make future changes, clear rules going forward until there are no more coins to drop.

4. I personally think the 10 % instant drop for the devs is too much because there are too many unclaimed coins at the moment. Also I don't see much progress being done except the weekly airdrops, correct me if I'm wrong. It would be better to give the devs for example 0,1 % airdrop of circulating supply (not premine) every week. This would be a more stable reward and the further we would go with the project (distribution and price-wise), the more reward they would get.

Edit: Did some rough calculations how fast the funds would get distributed with various airdrop percentages. Starting supply 1 million and ending supply 16 million. No dev fees calculated.

3 % = 92 weeks
6 % = 47 weeks
9 % = 32 weeks
12 % = 24 weeks
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: August 27, 2017, 09:14:52 AM
Whats up with fans starting to spin 100 % without a reason with these XMR miners for random cards with random interval? Same problem with Wolf0s miner. I'm using afterburner for fan control and none of the miner settings. When the fan speed goes crazy it overrides any afterburner control over them and I have to restart the rig to reset the fan speeds.

I have 40 GB virtual memory. It crashes with both included test bats, maximum time I got it working with 6 cards was 10 minutes. I tried intensity 30 but it doesn't help, just lowers hashrate. Also tried the #6 version you sent (it was faster at 900 total)

I sendt #5. Can you  try it please.

the only way to mine nexus is with the skminer. All other public miners have the same "bug". I am working on a bether fix in #7.

How big is your psu, and wich tdp settings are you running at with 6 cards?
Doesn't work, crashes too after a while. I'm using G2 1300 or double G2 750 with powered USB risers. The TDP I set depends on the algo but for this miner I tried everything on stock to try and get it working. I tried the "official" mumus-mod3 miner and it works without crashing but only at 500 Mh (still uses 100 % CPU though).

And yeah, you could of mentioned that this miner actually doesn't even work correctly without enough cores for all the GPUs if that's true.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: July 08, 2017, 06:49:36 PM
Nexus:

Did you add 16gig of virtual memory? Try to run with a lower intensity.

Did the (test_750ti.bat) work?

rem ip port threads timeout intensity
skminer.exe  127.0.0.1 9325 1 10 47

intensity of 47 is abit high. Try to reduce to 30.
I have 40 GB virtual memory. It crashes with both included test bats, maximum time I got it working with 6 cards was 10 minutes. I tried intensity 30 but it doesn't help, just lowers hashrate. Also tried the #6 version you sent (it was faster at 900 total) but it does the same system crash after a few minutes (sometimes after seconds). I've been playing with the miner whole day now and I think it just uses too much CPU for 6 cards to work properly. I tried to run it with 1 card, the CPU load was around 70 % and it didn't crash the system but came up with an error "can't get block height" or something in 15 minutes. This causes a popup box and the miner restart loop doesn't run till you manually close the popup. I didn't shoot it up again but I think it won't crash the system with 1 GPU. However with 6 GPUs the CPU load is 100 % and I can't even open afterburner because the PC is so laggy. Seems that this miner doesn't work with low level CPUs with 6 GPUs or has anyone succeeded running 6 GPUs stable with G1840-like CPU? Why does it stress the CPU so much anyway? I would love to have a fix for this or a refund if the CPU is indeed limiting the miner because that isn't mentioned anywhere and I can't use it as is.

On spreadcoin I could only get a maximum of 9 Mh per GPU even with overclocks (100% TDP).

I get 9.3MH on the gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 gaming with oc on both the memory and coreclock.
f.ex core: +150, memory +500

On the 1080ti you can try to reduce the memory clock -500 and increase the coreclock. The highest reported hashrate from a user is 9.6 MHASH on the gtx 1070 and 16MHASH on the 1080ti
What TDP? Kinda misleading to market the miner doing those hashrates if you got them only with big overclocks on a good GPU. The opening post makes it look like those hashrates are just normal stock rates that you get off the box. I've got a full rig of 1070 g1 gaming cards and they wont overclock on core past +50 on 100 % TDP without the miner going crazy with ridicilous high hash numbers. I actually tried tweaking this on 6 different 6 GPU rigs (different brands) and couldn't get any of them working so all the GPUs would be over 9 Mh.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: July 08, 2017, 09:58:17 AM
Got the Spread and Nexus mods for my 1070s, but the speeds shown on the front page don't seem realistic for a typical setup (9.3 Mh on Spread / 160 Mh on Nexus). I'm running systems with H81 Pro BTC, G1840, 4GB ram, EVGA G2 1300 and different brands of 6x1070 with windows 10 and 382.53 drivers.

On spreadcoin I could only get a maximum of 9 Mh per GPU even with overclocks (100% TDP).

Nexus gives a maximum of 820 Mh per 6 GPUs even with overclocks (100 % TDP). But the big problem with this are the crashes. I can't get it to work for more than 5 minutes without crashing the system even on everything at stock. I'm using the default config that came with the miner (only changed threads to 6) and I even tried to lower the intensity to 40 but it still crashes after a few minutes. Anyone else having this problem? Honestly, the crashing, real speeds and not answering PMs are leaving a kinda shitty taste in the mouth for purchasing the miners.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON 7GPU on: April 13, 2017, 07:44:46 PM
Are you guys capable of running 7 bios modded GPUs on this mobo with windows 10? I was playing with it for hours yesterday and couldn't get it to work properly. Finally I gave up and left the main GPU unmodded and everything else works fine with 7 GPUs.

For the windows to show 7 GPUs I had to enable in the bios, on top of the Above-4G Decoding, also the Windows OS configuration for Windows 8.1/10. Without enabling this windows option it just booted to black screen. Problem with this option enabled is whenever I try flashing the main GPU, even if it's the only GPU, it doesn't boot properly. It doesn't show the startup mobo bios messages, it just boots straight into windows. If I don't have display drivers installed before turning windows 8.1/10 mode to enabled it boots to black screen. If i try to uninstall drivers or update them, it starts booting to black screen. Then I have to unplug the GPU and use onboard GPU to turn the Windows 8.1/10 option off again. Without that option I can get 5 modded GPUs working without problems.

Shortly said, enabling the Windows 8.1/10 to boot into windows with 7 GPUs doesn't let you flash the main GPU properly, any idea why? Do you guys have the 7 GPUs working without enabling the windows 8.1/10 option, only the Above-4G Decoding?

I flashed the latest 1.7 bios, got 8 GB of ram and Celeron G3900, MSI RX 480 cards.

Very disappointed in this pool. Mined from the beginning in here because of the decent miner but only got some random small payments after the withdraw was lowered to 0.005. Earliest and latest payments missing, all on t address. Lost considerable amount of money even if I get the payments now, because of the price crashing. Also all the disconnects made me get a lot less ZEC than supposed to. Changed to flypool recently and I'm now getting payments with the right amounts hourly.

I just sold most of my coins (some at 0.000025 and some at 0.00003) so can you update my sell order thanks. I still got 16K available for 0.00003 BTC per coin.

You agreed to sell me 20k @ 0.000025 so I already go and pm SebastianJu to escrow for us and now you are changing the price all of a sudden? What gives?I have already agreed a price and quantity with you.
Well it's not that simple as you put it. You said yesterday that you want 20K. I asked you if you could set up an escrow and tell him to PM me the details or we could trade in small amounts but I wont be sending first. Those were the only two messages between us. I don't consider that making an agreement for trade. Today you answered that you will try to get an escrow and ending the message with "If he gets back to me I will be in touch but sometimes he doesnt return pms unfortunately".

I don't consider that making an agreement for trade either. How long I need to wait? What if you get a better deal meanwhile or just loose interest? Anyway that doesn't matter because between your yesterdays and today's message I had offers from another users and sold the coins BEFORE your message about trying to get an escrow. At that point I had absolutely no idea if you wanted to make the deal with my terms or not so I sold most of my coins. I already bumped the price up for another of these trades, because I wasn't initially planning to sell so much. I answered you within 30 minutes that I don't have 20K left anymore and that I raised my price.

I don't see that I did anything wrong or lied to you but I can understand that you feel unhappy with this. I'm on a good mood so ill sell you that 20K for 0.5 BTC like you wanted if you can get that escrow/send me first. I'll have 20K coins by tomorrow, now at 18K.

EDIT: No more coins for sale from me if this goes through.

Yes those are screenshots of my wallet proving that I sent 20K coins to the account you PMed me. Anyone can confirm this from the block explorer. I have no problem giving my password or create a remote desktop session with a moderator to confirm the PMs, all the messages are still in my inbox/outbox. I could even make a video from it but I guess you can always use the classical anything can be faked argument. The two recipients come from quoting my own sent message and just forgetting to delete my own name from the "to" box. You sure have a lot of excuses/insults instead of just saying you fucked up and are sorry that I got scammed by your account.

Posting more messages here doesn't make you any better/more trustworthy person than I am. Pretty wild imagination you got to think that I would randomly pick your account and go through all the trouble to fake your buy quote etc. to try to "blackmail" you out of coins, which no sane person would send anyway. And also that the topic creator is in on this LOL.

We can keep blabbling and blobbling back and forth who is talking truthfully but I got the proof that your account was used to scam me, doesn't matter who it was. The more you say how you had control of your account all the time, the more you seem like a scammer to me and everyone else reading this. Might wanna change your email password/user settings if you're 100% sure you should of gotten notifications about my PMs.

Edit: Ok good, now you can eat your pride and say sorry to me for all the insults and we can move on.
