To any mods: If this is in the wrong section please let me know or move it or send me PM instead of just deleting it because I have read the rules and I don't see why it's breaking any rules... I tried to post it in the mining section and it got deleted and I have no idea why and no response from mods

I wanted to rent a BTC mining node from a specific individual/company but I'm not sure if it's a scam or not. Since I'm not sure of it I will not mention any name in order to not shame anyone first. Google search returned exactly 0 results.

This is what they sent me:

"We run a mining farm whereby we attach multiple ant miners to personalized servers, we then program nodes to power the mining bot software.

We run a mining network that mines Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and more via the script, X11, and SHA-256 algorithms. We offer you a smart and easy way to start mining by reducing the cost associated with mining
Its a personalized service for crypto enthusiast. You have to know someone who knows someone to be on the network.

I program a software bot from the hardware i happen to connect to the servers. Usually the hardware mines slowly, but i created a way to program nodes to power the blockchain software. The bot mines the coin for you in acceleration process, even when there is congestion on the network, it accrues more instead of slowing down.
The funds accrue daily for a month. And the reward is distributed via PPs or PPLNs which i will run while im configuring the nodes. It takes 24hours to configure and you'll have to be online with me after the 24hours to integrate it to the dedicated wallet. First day funds get in right there

Rewards are distributed via PPLNs.... PPLNs is a way of determining how many cryptocoins you get for your shares completed. Pay Per Last N Shares is what PPLNs stand for. Using PPLNs, your payout per share will have a large range (30%)

I'll generate an invoice and send it to you. This will be used for documentation purpose. All payments are made via Bitcoin
You the make subscription payment directly to the Node wallet address., so as to ensure safety of your funds. As soon as the subscription payment is confirmed, we'll begin with the setup and configuration immediately"

Any advice or opinion is welcome, thank you.

Hello, thank you for your question. The ICO profile on ICObench is based on the project's application and the information found by our editors on the site, social media, and the whitepaper. Our bot Benchy then does an automatic assessment of the data collected which results in the ICO profile rating. You can also update the information in your project's profile once it is published whenever you want using our ICO Profile Manager

Hi. How does the Benchy ICO analyzer bot analyze website and whitepaper? For example if some information is in an image (JPG) it will not read it and evaluate as non existent right? For example we have Number of tokens for sale, soft and hard cap and even roadmap as an image for better visual representation. Do we need to change it all to html for the bot to read it? There is no other way I assume? Thank you.

Thank you for your quick answer. I see, so it doesn't do actual scanning of the documents and the files? That's a relief because it would take lot of time and effort to change those pics into attractive text to make it looks similar as the original.

Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.

This might be the case, at least initially. However, the technology behind it is here to stay. If for some reason bitcoin blows up, we will not abandon cryptocurrencies as a whole, because people have seen that the technology works and that it is useful. A world without cryptocurrencies is behind us.

I don't think it will go to zero as many people will still use it, even though it might not be milions of ppl. Also you can trade altcoins with ETH
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: February 06, 2018, 03:18:55 AM
You can invest now, or wait,  wait till you see bitcoin is rising back up again, just before it rises back up, buy some! so you wont wait for it. Or if you want, you can wait for it to be at its lowest point then go buy it Smiley its up to you, its your money, its how you plan it, based it on how strategic you are, so definitely its up to you. Nevertheless whether you lose or win, its all about taking risk, you gain experience from your own decisions. Risk.

You can never wait for it to be at its lowest point because we don't know the future. THe only way would be to invest when it starts to recover - but even then it can fell down again as we have seen in the last days
