Very interesting topic, I knew the world of crypto about 8 years ago, I was immediately passionate about mining and what was behind it, it was very nice because it seemed to me a very innovative thing with huge potential in the future. Grazie della dritta Hostfast non ci avevo pensato a questo metodo, ho Revolut ma non sapevo dei bonifici istantanei, solitamente con carta andavo di Hype Plus molto comoda per acquistare Btc internamente o al massimo con carta verso Binance con commissione dell' 1.8% che credo sia accettabile come fee.

I am assuming you re-installed your operating system? A couple Qs. I think we will be able to help better if we have clarity on these.
Do you recall ever creating a backup of your "wallet.dat" file?
Are you still using the same hard drive?
And what did you choose as your data directory when you installed Bitcoin Core last time? Did you keep it as default (%APPDATA%\Bitcoin) or choose a different drive/location. Your "wallet.dat" file can usually be found in that directory.
Assuming you didn't create a backup previously nor can find the old "wallet.dat" in your hard drive then it would be a little tougher. All hope is not lost though, because if you're using the same hard drive then with some luck you might be able to recover the old "wallet.dat" file with a data recovery tool.
Yes I installed Windows 10 overtop of itself but chose the option to keep no files. I do not recall creating a wallet.dat file, but if it was a default option I would gone along with it. Yes I am using the same hard-drive. I don't recall which directory I installed Bitcoin core to but it would have been whatever the default is. Are there any data recovery tools you recommend? Unfortunately the only way you have is to use a recovery tool, a similar thing happened to me years ago and saved me the "EaseUS" tool but there are also others around very reliable, i wish you the best of luck in recovery the wallet file. |

Surely they are scams, be careful, Youtube and the various social media are full of fraudulent btc and crypto ads, even recently on youtube they steal popular channels with many subscribers and put fraudulent content on crypto to scam as many people as possible in a short time.

Personalmente non mi fare nessun problema. 2 BTC sono meno di 20K. Non sussiste nessun obbligo di dichiarazione per cifre così (mi riferisco al quadro RW). Quindi io andrei diretto di bonifico da exchange. Probabilmente, ricevendo un bonifico da exchange FINECO ti segnalerebbe "operazione sospetta". A quel punto però avresti tutti i giustificativi della provenienza delle somme (la vendita dei BTC). E basta. Se proprio volessi essere ultra prudente, vai con Fidor, e spendi direttamente da lì' o fai piccoli bonifici nel tempo. Altrimenti se proprio vuoi, apri un conto su HYPE (gruppo Banca Sella) e depositi li sopra i BTC; che poi puoi vendere nel loro exchange interno. Qui trovi una recensione di @Babo Revolut, come detto, da evitare. L'altra soluzione suggerita sono i Bitcoin ATM. A seconda di dove vivi potresti averne uno vicino. Mi pare un progetto molto interessante.
Non lo ho mai sentito nominare. E ritengo che, per quanto riguarda i Wallet, vi sia un grandissimo incentivo a stare tra quelli collaudati. Andando a pescare qualche wallet semi sconosciuto a mio parere aumentano clamorosamente i rischi di truffa o comunque bug nel software. Non sto dicendo sia questo il caso, ma che si debba essere molto prudenti quando si parla di affidare a qualcuno i propri sats (li “affidi” al wallet per creare le transazioni etc.) Anche io ho la stessa paura quando spuntano fuori nuovi wallet, magari sono ottimi ma in questo campo non si sa mai sempre meglio fare super attenzione, mi fido di quelli esistenti sicuri e collaudati. |
