1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: September 14, 2013, 06:31:42 PM
I just got the debt from BFL removed from my credit card!! Not hard.  Cool
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 09, 2013, 10:21:30 PM
Get a refund before they run out of money lol... Oct 1st is going to come and go, they won't even be to Jan 1st 2013 on singles by then. Their 65nm line is no longer profitable in 2 months meaning you wont even pay it back even at the $1300 original price point. RUN! for the door.
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Want a BFL PayPal refund? PM me. on: September 09, 2013, 10:15:39 PM
Go through your CC company it's easy I did and got my money back. Takes about 2 weeks total after you call.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Has the BFL's Monarch taped out? on: September 09, 2013, 10:09:13 PM
Why are people even talking about new BFL products are you mad? don't do business with them PERIOD. You will not receive what your buying while it's still profitable. Nov/Dec delivery what a joke they wont even have the current backorder out by then!!!
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BF Labs Inc. officially reinstated their once ended refund policy via Bitcoin. on: August 22, 2013, 03:59:10 AM
My friend received a NO from BFL to his refund request on Monday of this week via email, he paid with a wire. Should he write asking again? Or did I miss the humor in this thread lol
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra 2TH/Sec Miner Official $15,700!!!! Complete Fail on: August 20, 2013, 04:38:54 AM
Complete Fail? (not complete) I'll bet they start selling 1000gh/s miners for $8000 or less come December. The difference and selling point is going to have to be power efficiency. The days of mass profit are going to fade FAST after Oct 1st. Thinking your going to continue to have the same level of profit as bitcoin matures is not logical.

The competition is going to be KNC with $5000 for a 400ghs @ 1000watts and HashFast at $5,600 400ghs @ 350watts. If Cointerra is $7-8000 for 1000ghs @ 500 watts or less (in Dec) they are going to be the long term play no doubt. As difficulty is skyrocketing miners that are power hogs will have to be shut down sooner the most power efficient/ read that the machines that will be plugged in the longest 2-4 years down the road are going make the most. Short term profit vs long term endurance. You guys have missed the boat here I think unless it's to say buying a cointerra AT THE MOMENT is not a good idea. Come December they will be king.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Yifu is the man! on: August 05, 2013, 02:15:53 PM
Yifu is not the man "Avalon’s mining equipment will not be made available to the public."

YOU might never see the Avalon 20nm chips BUT I'm sure the big banks will when it becomes "OK" for banks and hedge funds to play with bitcoin. At the same time bankers get in we will be pushed out.
8  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 100 TH/s jump today on: August 05, 2013, 02:03:41 PM
For the most drastic increase in hashing rate yet to have only 2 comments?

Whos product shipped in mass or whos testing/turned on 100th/s?
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnCminer will provide HW to cloudhashing.com on: June 18, 2013, 09:52:48 AM

cannot wait for the 7 days to be over so we can be done with this "pre-order" business.

If you can't understand the statement above, KnC said they are only allowing you to keep your "pre-order" Queue if you pay within 7 days of them opening the orderbook.

Tick Tock

I think pre-order ends Saturday at noon as I received their email at noon Monday 6/03. That or at least by Saturday night this thing is locked and real order numbers will be released on Monday.
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnCMiner Openday Wednesday 5th & Monday 10th June on: June 07, 2013, 11:25:08 PM
Just after a very short time running a ASIC will be profitable with free electricity only.
Team up with a student in a dorm room or a single mom in a state-sponsored house LOL Smiley

Unless I messed up the numbers a Jupiter with 350 GH/s and 1000 W power consumption, should turn a profit until difficulty is over 4 Billion. While the extra profit of no electricity cost would be nice, I think I'm good for a while. Smiley

I think you fucked up. My calculations say that at 1.5 billion difficulty the Jupiter would not turn a profit even if the price was 350 USD/btc

KNC is a 28nm ASIC so far no one is even seriously thinking about making something better to our knowledge. The free market will guarantee that if you have the best equipment you will be paid for your service providing bitcoin is still alive and well. Otherwise the miners will be shut off, stop being sold if it's no longer profitable. A dip in inflation of bitcoin (creation) will cause the price to rise and people will turn back on. Free markets provide insurance that you will make a profit if bitcoin is in demand.  http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ at 1.5 billion diff, current price btc, 1000watt, jupiter makes $809 total 3 months. If it's already paid for by the time we reach 1.5 billion diff thats decent money for just having something plugged in... I bet btc will be much higher in a year, anything big crashes in the fraud global markets and btc is poised to receive a huge influx of newbies with $$$$$$$$.

It's working, make sure your not being limited by paypal they have limits for non-verified people.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL creates new charity project to donate 1000 BTC to [ROFL!] on: June 05, 2013, 02:56:13 PM
If they're serious they should dump the cash into a trust controlled by people outside BFL. Or they should make sure to give a few BIG chunks of that cash out immediately to worthwhile causes like zerocoin. Charity in my mind was like cancer treatment or hospitals or something...
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnCMiner order/shipment mess and unfairness on: June 04, 2013, 11:27:57 PM
Yea I signed up for the newsletter on 4/09/2013 thinking ok I registered interest, HAD THEY POSTED "Sign up here to get a place in line" I would have but of course I thought to myself no need they aren't even taking money. ***Face Palm!***  Angry

Question, if I have an order for Jupiter can I order a Saturn and keep my place?

Also if I'm not in the first 500 is it going to be half payment now half when they're ready to ship?
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner Sell order# on: June 04, 2013, 01:07:20 PM
I'll take an order 500-1500 for some $$ PM me.

Come on guys someone has to want to part with a #500-1500 order?! Will take Saturn or Jupiter
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner Sell order# on: June 03, 2013, 11:02:44 PM
