I don't belive this was planned maintance. The message on FJ said it was unplanned but the message has been removed.
Ive chatted with a couple of FJ reps and no one has answers.
In fact, I said to the rep that I didnt feel they were being on the up and up but i hoped they were, he replied "I hope so too", because he has 1000s of people asking the same thing and he has no answers to give.  I would post the screenshots but om new to this forum and not sure how to add attachments.

I also asked why the warning was removed about the deposits and withdrawals, and asked him if he thought there should be a warning so others such as myself dont deposit only to wait for an undetermined period of time.
He agreed that there should be a warning, and said ot was removed for technical reasons.

i think its all BS and this might be the end for FJ.
Crypto crash hasn't done anyone any good.
Anyone else get any answers from FJ?

The site seems to be working right now and please dont harm their reputation by saying that this is the end for them, they are making some maintenance and the site is already up. So far there is no other person that feel that this maintenance did anything bad at all so probably it is just some support that is unaware of the maintenance?

So you still havent receive your deposit?

No need to entertain that account.. It is a brand new account which has only made two posts on this forum, both are entitled "Is it the end of FJ??". Just someone spreading FUD by the looks of it, that or a sour loser.
Whatever. Do u work or promote for FJ.
Just cause im new you say to disregard. Why?
My points are valid and only shared my opinion.
Why not go deposit 1btc and let me know how that goes for you.
The site is up and running, however deposits and withdrawals are not.
Im not at all trying to bad mouth FJ. I like to play there and until now have had nothing but good to say.  Am I not entiteled to an opinion and to be heard?
I hope that your right and ive worried for nothing. But in the event that im not, you'll look quite foolish telling others to disregard my posts.
All i am trying to do is get answers and inform others of what I've experienced trying to do so.

Everyone in this thread is a FJ shill. The admins of FJ don't show up here, for whatever reason.

I'm likely one of the biggest players of FJ, I even have my own host there.

I made a deposit yesterday, it's still not confirmed.

Nothing smells right here.
Thank you. Now I dont feel crazy anymore.  Didnt think i was the only one who feels something is off.
Op here seem to think im just talking smack cause I lost.
I have screenshots if my last convo with FJ rep. Tell me how to post them and youll see that something seems off.

Been waiting almost 24 hours since Ive had over 6 confirmations.

I really hope that your right. Not like its a huge amount of coin. Ive just never had any kind of issues like this in the past.  As well as the answers i recieved from FJ were a little less than assuring.

Maybe it is just me, but i think its quite strange that they would remove a warning for tech issues when the issues are unresolved.   Maybe im reading into things too much?
Normally FJs customer service is 2nd to none. But since this issue, theyve either ignored me or given very short answers.

Still no deposit.
Is that how new posters get treated here. Disregarded.
5  Economy / Gambling / Is it the end for FortuneJack? I think it may be. Here's why. on: February 06, 2018, 04:15:21 PM
Hi. This is one of my first posts.

Ive deposited for the 80some time at fj. After 7 confirmations i inquried about the status as it had not been credited to my account. I was directed to the message on the main page. The message said that deposits and withdrawals may be delayed due to Unscheduled technical maintinace. The message has since been removed.  Later in the day(yesterday) I was browsing google for any info on fj as I couldnt get any real answers from fj reps. If they repondes it was a one or two word responce.   I found a post from an FJ rep here on bitcointalk and what was strange is that he said that this was planned. The message on there website said it was unplanned.  Hmmm???

I was finally able to have a conversation with a rep.
(Im not sure how to add the screen shots as attachments but will if someone explains how)

I asked if deposits will ever be credited, he said when tech issues were resolved accounts would be credited.
I then asked about a timeline. He said he could not give an exact time.
I asked about why the warning was removed from the main page, and asked him if he thought that there should be a warning so others such as myself would not deposit and then have to wait for an undetermined period of time. FJ rep said the warning was removed for technical reasons. He also agreed that there should be a Warning.

I then stated that I did not feel as though FJ was acting on the up and up, but hoped they were. He responed "I hope so too"  he also said that he had 1000s of others asking the same questions and he has no answers to give.

Maybe its just me. But something seems fishy.
Wouldnt have thought much of it, but given the length of the maintenance window and the answers I recieved I think the crypto crash might have more to do with it then maintenace.

What do you think?

Dear BTCTALK community,

Due to planned technical maintenance on FJ wallets, you might experience some delays in deposits and withdrawals today. Our developer's team is up and working to incorporate update in the system as soon as possible. We want to kindly ask for your patience, all the functions will be restored in a couple of hours.

Cheers!

Thanks for letting us know and great to here that there's some updates in the system! Anything new/upgraded in particular that you could share with us?

Keep up the good work!

Hi Hhampuz,

Nothing, in particular, it's just a planned update to stay fresh and up to date.
