1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Curiosity of bitcoin prices in the future on: June 30, 2018, 08:00:09 AM
Will bitcoin prices rise beyond 20k in the future, and whether bitcoin will only stabilize at a price of 8k - 10k and it will be difficult to exceed that price.

There will be a rapid growth and the price can even jump beyond the amount you specified. This may rightly happen in the last quarter of the year as btc proves not to be falling below 6k
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering ? on: June 30, 2018, 07:42:29 AM
Do you think bitcoin is going to reach june rates soon ?

I don't know how much it was back in June but btc is increasing slowly. The price has already started growing.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anticipation from the future ? on: June 30, 2018, 06:05:07 AM
:)Countries are divided into 3 groups: those who ban bitcoin, those who will regulate it strongly and those who will give complete freedom to development. The second and the third groups us well be satisfied with. This majority. It's enough to survive. Therefore, it is not necessary to look for negative outside of us. ; Smiley Smiley

Countries that are trying to end btc and banned it for sure they just want to rise on their own generated coin.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin lead cryptocurrency market forever? on: June 29, 2018, 10:24:55 AM

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: June 29, 2018, 10:03:59 AM
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Bitcoin has been declared as an speculative asset to be able to earn big amount of profit.

7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Backup is important on: June 21, 2018, 10:17:59 PM
Good day, just want to share my experience,
I am using 2fa as my security in my emails and exchange accounts, so one day I nearly lost my phone and that phone holds majority of my pins, 2fa, etc. so I thought I lost all, luckily I found the phone. So now I'm thinking of buying an extra phone for backup. What else do you recommend for backup?

It's right to have backup phone because hackers will do anything just to have easy money
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 21, 2018, 09:59:36 PM
I came across a very nice experiment of one of my compatriots. He started to put up around $ 50 a month for pension. I will add that pensions in my country are low.

Description of the experiment:

"What is going on?
One of my many areas of interest are cryptocurrencies. There is a good chance that you have heard about bitcoin. A smaller chance that you know litecoin or dogecoin. If you want to know the technical side or economic cryptocurrency - use google. For the needs of my retirement, it is enough to know that cryptocurrencies act as cash in a modern version. They have their value (they are listed on the stock exchanges, they have their course), they can be safely stored, they can be sent immediately to any distance, practically free of charge and - with a little effort - they are anonymous. And they are today at the initial stage of development. Everyone who touches them is still an early employer, and this means that - with a high probability - a long-term investment in cryptocurrencies will be very profitable. I chose 4 cryptocurrencies for my retirement basket and gave them percentages indicating their presence in the basket. When making my choice, I based my own - already several years - experience in the cryptocurrency industry, the capitalization value of a given cryptocurrency (market cap) and the features that distinguish it from other coins on the market. And so I chose:

How much do I put aside? I did not want to set any fixed amount. Because you know - inflation, fluctuations in financial markets, etc. ... So I decided that the value of a monthly investment will depend on the minimum wage in Poland. In 2017, it is an amount of $ 540. And every month I invest 10% of this amount, that is 50 $. "

He has currently invested $ 1,600, and the rate of return since early 2017 is 1,600% = $ 27k.
It's a great idea, right?

The day I let myself engaged here in this forum I decided to have this rule "once you've enter there's no turning back" and I've made the right thing because I don't know if I can afford to turn back
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 21, 2018, 12:21:52 PM
What happens if you are in a third world country and there is massive corruption? You pay taxes and there are no roads, schools, or any essential public utilities. What you do see is the politicians and their cronies getting richer. Would you still argue that everybody should continue paying taxes?
If the country had that kind of government with the desire of corrupting the money of all the people then for sure people will not be able to pay taxes anymore.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 21, 2018, 11:13:04 AM
Why does increasing mining competition mean that people who have taken the profit on their Bitcoin purchases will be making a loss?
I even wonder why it does too and in the first place they can get their money back. It depends on how they manage it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it my impression or media is biased towards bad news ? on: June 21, 2018, 11:07:20 AM
Do you think the media is trying to destroy Bitcoin and cryptocurrency ? I think they show 95% of the times only bad news. Why is this happening ?
I think it is because there is a person/people behind that news. Maybe they are trying to make bad the reputation of bitcoin.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going to happen with Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 09:07:46 PM
Hi guys,

Nowadays every bitcoin holders got a question on their mind and that is:

"Is bitcoin future bright or dark?"

Simply this question rise up because of bitcoins dramatic price fall. But I am gonna tell everyone to keep faith on bitcoins power. I think who have already introduced with bitcoin last 2 years they know the orginal scenario of bitcoin. Last couple of weeks bitcoin price fall dramatically but we wish it will recover its turn up soon. Crypto currency is the first choice of modern generation. Already bitcoin got millipms of standard users who knows the pros and cons of bitcoin. Hence its downwords now because of some reasons like:

1] Bank owners thinks its gonna spoil their banking business.

2] Some merchant investors thinks its not safe to invest on bitcoin. It can be stolen or freeze.

3] Some users doesn't know the exact use of bitcoin.

4] Some government haven't got the exact technology to regulate bitcoin.

5] Some users are not used to with BTC.

These are the exact reason why bitcoin price is surrounded on a limited area. Its just a matter of time to resolve all these issue. Then it will be a new era of Bitcoin.

Here is some reasons what's gonna make the difference:

1] Already most of the countries agreed to lead their economical strategy with bitcoin. Just government wants to make some rules and regulation to make a safer financial environment.

2] Rival online companies are keen to accept their payment on bitcoin. Because its the fastest and secure payment gateway for them.

3] In some countries bitcoin ATM is going successfully & users are pretty much happy with it.

4] Crypto trading platforms are getting much popular than forex, stock markets. Worldwide investors are showing their interest to crypto trading.

5] peoples are very interested to use bitcoin on their daily purchase payment option specially on super markets grocery shops, rental services where BTC is Accepted.

In my opinion bitcoin holders should keep calm and wait for the better future. Crypto currency is the most innovative invention of modern world. Its going to be the basic need of people soon. just wait & watch

Thanks

The development and success of bitcoin are the people who believes in it, who do their role in interest

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: June 19, 2018, 08:03:06 PM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?
It is so hard for us to detect that the bounty which we are going to participate is a scam. And yes who knows that the bounty we are going to participate is a scam?
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is bitcoin bouncing back on: June 19, 2018, 07:45:26 PM
We have been experiencing serious downtrend in bitcoin. Some people have been holding bitcoin since alt high $19500 December last year till date $6761 (six months ago).

My question is When are we going to experience pump/bouncing back to previous alt high?
We really dont know but I am hoping that prices will bounce back as soon as posssible.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: June 05, 2018, 09:42:54 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley

I'm pretty sure that everything including the unstable prices of bitcoin is just temporary here and we just have to give it time.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: June 05, 2018, 09:34:58 PM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?

Small fishes, refer to us also has a great use here in crypto world .The more user the longer it's lifespan. If bitcoin still has a very high demand and can still be used to make payments then surely it'll survive.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: June 05, 2018, 09:26:16 PM
In recent years, blockchain technologies have given rise to a new industry. Numerous fintech startups create innovative solutions to radically change the world which we live in today.

SWIFT 2.0 on Blockchain

Ripple Labs, Inc. – a company developing cryptocurrency of the same name (Ripple) – is a good example of how the blockchain can be used to transform the landscape of modern financial transactions. Ripple solves the existing problem in the world of finance.

Today, we can send letters instantly by using emails instead of traditional postal service. We can send any information to anywhere in the world in one click. But we can’t say the same about money. We can’t make a transfer of money from a sender to receiver as fast as a transfer of information. The existing solutions that the current world can offer are very slow and expensive.

If you want to send, say, $10,000 from New York to London, it will be faster to take cash, go to the JFK airport and fly through the Atlantic on the plane. Because traditional interbank transfer will take from 2 to 5 working days.

Ripple makes cross-border payments faster and cheaper. It takes only 4 seconds to make a transaction through Ripple blockchain network, and it costs at roughly $0.0004 even for the amount of hundreds million dollars.

Crypto Derivatives

Step by step, cryptocurrency is being recognized by the traditional financial world as a new kind of digital asset with many benefits. Wall Street approached crypto by establishing derivatives contracts. In December 2017, the two largest U.S. Futures Exchanges – Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) – launched futures trading on Bitcoin. This opened up crypto-market for big money of institutional clients and hedge funds.

Since the launch of futures, there has been a heated debate about the expected Bitcoin ETFs on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). If this is launched, you will be able to buy shares of such ETFs as stocks which price will be correlated with the price of Bitcoin.

Next level of crypto derivatives is option contracts, both options on Bitcoin futures and options on Bitcoin itself. Whilst CBOE and CME are still discussing the possible launch of options on Bitcoin futures, the Bitcoin options already being traded on several crypto-exchanges such as LedgerX and Deribit.

After the Bubble

The tech sector of U.S. stock market is determined by the NASDAQ indexes that include stocks of numerous tech companies, and many of them were born during the famous Dotcom bubble in 1995-2002.

At its climax in March 2000, NASDAQ Composite index peaked at a high of over 5,000 points and then lost about 80% of its value dropping to a low of around 1,000 points in October 2002.
A new all-time high has been reached only after 15 years in 2015, surpassing the level made during the Dotcom bubble.

The charts of NASDAQ index in 1999-2000 and Bitcoin price in 2017-2018 are incredibly similar, with the only difference that velocity of Bitcoin price increase is several times faster than the velocity of NASDAQ growth.

Many companies created during the Dotcom bubble were really ahead of their time. For example, Amazon, which was founded in 1997 as an online bookstore, is now among world’s top-5 tech companies. Amazon has finally become an integral part of lives of the most U.S. residents but this has happened only with the passage of time and the introduction of the Internet into everyday life.

The same happens with Crypto now. Today, the blockchain technology is really ahead of its time. It is possible that after several years many blockchain projects will be implemented in the real world, and Crypto will emerge from a new Renaissance. Until then, the Bitcoin price can possibly suffer decline and continuous depression, just as NASDAQ did.

The recent sharp drop in the crypto market caused the decrease in volatility and the decline in public interest. The initial excitement is gone now and the market has calmed down. This is a sign that the new market is moving into the maturity phase.

Big money like quiet markets. So, news has begun to come that hedge funds with the money of Soros, Rockefeller, and even Rothschilds family are moving into the world of crypto.

These financial sharks seem confident in the bright future of crypto-markets. And the most interesting time is yet to come.

The currency will continue to grow and develop as time goes by ,as crypto coins are grabbing too much attention of so many people in so many ways. Indeed we are hoping for the best.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: June 05, 2018, 09:18:06 PM
The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?

More and more income sources can lead our economy better. About that haves and haves not, I think the person himself can allow him to a better life, the choice is given there. If you want money then work for it. Money is not easy to have. You just can't let the government  fix your problem, why don't fix it yourself.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 05, 2018, 09:06:57 PM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?

Investing your money can allowyou to grow it.If you want to save,  invest then.
